Mugen - London - Photo album

Great Japanese restaurant, conveniently located. This Restaurant was a lucky find for a business dinner during the week. The food is good, fresh, and the menu is quite extensive. The service is very friendly, Professional and can manage a crowded place with ease. I can definitely recommend it.
Definitely one of the best in London. Very authentic Japanese food. Great service. Shout out to their staff, Hadi. Very professional and quick response to our needs. Will visit again.
I really enjoy my dining experience here. The atmosphere is relaxed and not too noisy that it’s difficult to chat. Food are prepared and presented beautifully, very delicious, staff are friendly and helpful with advices in terms of portions/ recommendations. I will return and would recommend to frie
Shabu Shabu was really good. Presentation of the dishes were thoughtful and so well done. Staff super friendly. Lots of Japanese men hanging out here for after work drinks and dinner which reminded me of Tokyo. My oolong cocktail was pretty good too. Want to try the sushi next time
We had dinner with a group of 8 people. It was amazing! Super delicious food, very nice people, beautiful interior. All over ten out of ten would definitely come back any time, thank you!
very authentic and delicious - it reminded me of the food I had in a ryokan in nagano
A fantastic little Japanese eatery on Leather Lane, they sport a wide variety of both drinks and food. The interior was clean, well-maintained, and cozy. The staff was both friendly and helpful. I had udon and a fried mochi appetizer. Everything was tasty! ごちそうさまでした!
Very good and authentic food. My colleagues recommended Mugen for good Japanese food and they’re right! I strongly recommend the fried soft shell crab and karaage, both were very tasty and crispy! The Kushiyaki 5kinds was also a great side, they got Yakitori, tsukune, sunagimo, uzura, sasami mentai.
Amazing food ! I was walking leather lane on an excursion when I popped into this restaurant. It’s near Prufrock. The staff is Japanese but the manager(?) isn’t. The only thing that turned me off is the manager customer service could be a little better. I walked in 8 minutes before kitchen closed f
We ventured into Mugen one evening as we were looking for somewhere good to eat and we were not disappointed at all. The karaage was soft and tasty on the inside, crisp and tasty on the outside. The chicken katsu curry was well cooked and the flavour moreish. I look forward to coming again to try m
Recommended by a friend who works at Mitsubishi and she said her Japanese colleagues all like this place for lunch. Can tell from the menu that the dishes are quite authentic: they have Chazuke and urchin. So, comparatively speaking, I did not feel like entering a Chinese food express to order some
Delicious food, lovely customer service and quiet and relaxing even though it's quite central. As soon as I walked up to the door the owner (?) held the door open for us and I thought right away it was going to be an amazing evening
I had lunch here the other day. I absolutely loved it. One of the best place to have sushi in London. You might need early reservation for eating in. Bit expensive but quality and taste was on point. As a sushi lover I enjoyed it.
Superb and authentic Japanese cuisine. A hidden gem and one of the best Japanese restaurants in London. The Katsu curry is easily the best in town. Excellent service and it is always being a pleasure dealing with the manager, Hadi.
