Decided to dine at this little Thai restaurant before we walked to the Hill Garden and it certainly did not disappoint. The iced Thai lime tea was refreshing but what I enjoyed most is the Meekhun starter platter which included a great selection of tasty starters - fish cakes, chicken satay skewers, spring rolls and some deep fried vegetables which I love. Great place to stop by and enjoy good Thai food! The only downside is the place doesn’t offer Iced Thai coffee even though it was listed on the menu - something I was looking forward to try.

I love Thai food, and this restaurant has been a wonderful surprise! Loved it!! Three of us went for a lunch catch up social, and had booked some 2 weeks in advance, and got the best table in the house, and note this is a very small bistro! First great thing, the list of choices is so long, and you can go a la carte, or set-menu. We went for the latter, 3-course - which turned out to be the best choice! I had the teriaki skewers for starter, it came really quick, and had this peanut sauce that was dreamy! My friend had a soup, and gave me a taste, it was so good! I may ask for soup next time! My main was the low-risk green curry, which i asked very mild, and so it came! Absolutely Gorgeous green curry!!! my friends were more adventurous, and had all the kick of strong Thai spices in theirs! For dessert, I asked for this Thai Tea icecream, as my other friend had ordered Thai Tea as a drink, and it was a little like a milk shake, and she gave me a taste, so I decided to go for the icecream! Best decision! Thai Tea icecream is the best icecream I tasted! ^_^ This Bistro in Gloucester Road/South Kensington is a gem! Will definitely be coming back for more, and soon! :)

The little Thai nearby was a previous favourite and has recently closed. I was very pleased to find this place instead. We had tom ka soup, dumplings, soft shell crab, papaya salad, and fish cakes all of which were excellent. The toilets were up some pretty steep stairs which may make them difficult for some. The staff were very friendly. The selection of drinks was also great.

Seafood mix salad is a bomb! Their home made tum yum soup is also interesting. The place is a bit small though, so not really for a big group.

Great service, great atmosphere. Fresh crunchy spring rolls, tender chicken... I had a delicious Prawn Pad Thai whilst my companion had a brazenly spicy Thai green curry. All food perfectly cooked, tasting fresh and rich with flavour.

This is a nice cosy place. Perfect for a casual lunch / dinner plan. It is quiet small though so sitting is limited. We really like their thai iced tea and chicken dishes. Noodles were quiet salty for our taste. Overall, we like to come here time to time and I would recommend !

A lovely chilled atmosphere, and delicious food, which is reasonably priced for the area. The waiters were friendly, attentive and kind. This is my second visit, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

Meekhun is one of three Thai restaurants in the Belsize Park & Hampstead area. Compared to Patara and The Little Thai, the interior of Meekhun is small and laid back, sitting 25 people across seven tables. The lunch set menu is good value for money - 1 main dish and 1 starter for £10.90 - with eight main dishes to choose from. The main menu features stir-fried dishes, curry dishes and soups, with a choice of chicken, pork, shrimp and tofu. The dishes are fresh with the Pla Sam Rod (sea bass) especially tasty. The serving portions are generous and the service efficient and friendly. Service is not included in the final bill.

*Not* Tip Top Thai, as was - but a brand new place altogether- seats about 20, freshly decorated. #1. A modest takeaway - both delicious and reasonably priced. #2. Eat in. 2 courses: £40. Pleasant, warm,, attentive service and tasty, well-presented food.

Great food. Ok portions. The staff need to smile. They seemed a bit grumpy on Friday 😕
