Absolutely best Vietnamese food I've eaten. The chicken was delicious and juicy and everything was sooo flavourful. Will definitely go again and again.
Another great point is that the staff there are super polite and friendly and welcoming. Thumbs up 👍🏻

chicken is very tender and moist. have had many Vietnamese in London but this definitely is the best so far... will definitely be back to try some other stuff!

I had Bun Cha from this place and the meat was well-marinated and tasty. The sauce was so authentic. Overall, I had a great lunch and I will definitely recommend the restaurant to my friends

Since moving to the Aldgate area a year ago, we haven't really found a great cheap local for those "I don't feel up to cooking" nights. My Old Place on Middlesex Street comes close, but Szechuan food is a little too greasy to become a staple.
We found a contender tonight in Hohaki. It's a basic Vietnamese canteen with a limited menu geared mostly to City workers at lunchtime. They are open weekday evenings too, but unfortunately not on weekends.
We both had the rice box which comes with protein of choice, rice drizzled with a little Nuoc Mau, or Vietnamese caramel and fish sauce and topped with a scatter of deep fried scallion. Green mango salad that is stretched with shredded carrot, cucumber and kohlrabi is the accompaniment that makes this a balanced meal.
I had the ribs, which were braised very tender. But I preferred my companion's chicken which had been marinated in the nuoc mau and grilled. For my taste the salad could have been punchier in terms of acidity and fish sauce, but I did like the delicate complex herbal notes of coriander and perilla leaf. The nuoc mau was pleasant but I prefer the caramel to be taken to a more aggressive bitter level of darkness.
Minor whinges aside, the food was really good and great value. It's a BYO where corkage is £1 per head with a Coop supermarket down the street. Dinner for two before service but including corkage was under £20.

Fresh, fast, healthy, and delicious. I wanted to try everything. Good heat on mine, I love spice but they were happy to omit if asked.
Order at the counter as you enter, I showed them a photo of another reviewers food for which worked but there's a menu on the wall as well.
Clean place, nice toilets, friendly happy staff. Busy with local office workers grabbing lunch. Just wish I lived near by!
very lovely place to get good vietnamese food. i ordered the tofu wrap and i loved it! waiting time wasn’t too long. very kind servers. NOTE: chicken is from halal sources but it’s not prepared in a halal way, however there are tons of tasty vegetarian options.

Definitely a spot that keeps drawing me back. I highly recommend the grilled pork rice box. In depth flavour and reasonable prices. It’s busy at lunch time but with the fast service you’ll have your food in no time. Dine in service is available with the limited seating
We found this place by Google. And we saw a good rating. That is what brings us here. And we didn't regret it. Food tasty good quality fresh. Portion is very good, enough meat, too.
This is my favourite Vietnamese place in whole UK :) today I visited this place for second time and during the lunch time busy period :) I think I was served in less than 8 minutes and food was so awesome as last time when I visited. Just look at these photos and tell me you can't feel that great taste from them!
