So I have been here many times and it's a guaranteed fab night out, my recent visit the service was a bit slow, but food is really yummy and atmosphere is 10 out of 10, normally the music is more pop and the sing a long tunes we all know and love, this visit was a bit different but fun....a lovely bday celebration. I'll keep coming back am sure

I really enjoyed this restaurant, I went for my birthday with family.
It is a very nostalgic place with the walls filled with pictures of Ciro with A-list guests for over 40 years and live music played nightly.
The food was great; the Pizzas, Salads and Lasagne were all amazing and I would highly recommend if you are looking for a cool place to hang out, eat some great Italian food and have a nice cocktail.

Great atmosphere in the evenings if you like live music and dancing. Food is good but definitely 5 stars for the atmosphere

Monday nights are amazing, you have a full live band with host.
Lots of professional singers get up and sing. You may even see the odd star here and there. Free entry and great prices for Knightsbridge.
The owner Ciro is a great welcoming guy who if you get to meet him, which is quite often! Great atmosphere! Great for parties!
Pedro Henrique
The food was nothing special but the ambience and music more than made up for it. Great fun for a Tuesday night. I highly recommend if you are in a party mood.

I had taken my mum on a bit of a shopping spree and had just come out of Harrods and she really fancied some Italian food that we didn't need to take a mortgage out for!
We found Ciro's on a side road via Google that was about a 5-6 walk from Harrods, it doesn't look much from the outside but the food was lovely I had spaghetti meatball and mum had chicken in mushroom sauce and tiramisu for dessert it was cooked from fresh and really tasty, would recommend if you are nearby.
Apparently there is also a nightclub below the restaurant that gets many famous faces in as well.

The atmosphere in this place is great. It can get very busy and it makes it hard for the staff to work but they do an amazing job.
The food is good and the prices on the menu are fair for Italian food.
The music and vibe is great.

I went on a Monday, the vibes were amazing, just didn’t like the tables to close so I couldn’t have a conversation without the person next to me listening, we ended up talking to each other, I just tried few small plates and quite a lot drinks, I loved everything. The staff were very nice to me.

Ciro's Pizza Pomodoro is one of my favourite restaurants and live venues for music, even though its only my second time going there. The restaurant is fantastic, from the waitresses and waiters to the excellent food, fast service speeds and electric atmosphere. The restaurant is not large, its in the basement of one of knightsbridge's old style victorian houses but Ciro's does make use of all the space. Many seating choices available, some are not in view of the live performances when they are on. You are definitely able to hear the artists and bands though!
The food is fantastic and they also give varying amounts to charity when you order certain pizzas. One of the PIzzas I like is the Texas Ranger! It gives all the proceedings to charity. All £16 of it! The menu tells you what charities the money goes to and what their causes are too. Its a nice touch, not many other places do that. The waitress on the night was fantastic and catered to our every whimper despite being right across the restaurant with lots of tables in the way. Great work young lady!
Ciro's is a fantastic place to enjoy a few drinks with your pizza and listen to some classic 70's, 80's, 90's, Jazz or whatever might be playing. If you haven't been go, its an whole new experience feeling of dining.
Be Advised! I would highly recommend booking in advance, 9/10 you won't be able to get a table as its always so busy and the restaurant is only small too. Bear that in mind! Dig In!

Ciro is the main event! He knows everybody in the music and film industry. His warmth is immediate and his style is like no other, I want to buy his clothes. We were so blessed to perform at this great historical venue. Thank you Ciro, after 40 years of serving London you are a Legend!!! Love from Nashville @JackieandDenise #bestentertainment #londonentertainment #pizza #besttimes

Arrived about 6:30/7pm on a Wednesday night and were warmly received as a family with 3 children, 1 under 2yo, and seated in a booth since they don't have highchairs. Delicious food!! Service with a smile, which I understand can be hard to come by in London. Relaxed ambiance, though definitely this is more of a bar feel. The cubby/booth seating was good for our family.

Live music, friendly staff, service is good

The owner of this place, Ciro is quite popular with everyone. He has met hundreds and thousands of celebrities around the world including US Presidents. Nice way to show off his popularity at a pizzeria. Found it quite funny to be honest. But the food was great and ambience is really nice, they host karaoke nights every Friday Saturday and Sundays I think. Love the traditional thin crust Margherita pizza.
However the only downside is that being a well known pizzeria around Knightsbridge that is operating for over 40 years, it is situated in a basement. So it can get claustrophobic and a bit uneasy for some people when it’s overcrowded. So bear in mind to visit during peak hours.

If you're looking for an extraordinary dining experience that combines exceptional cuisine, an enchanting ambiance, and captivating melodies, look no further than Ciros Pomodoro. This hidden gem of a restaurant delivers an unforgettable night of gastronomic delight, immersive atmosphere, and delightful music. What truly sets Ciros Pomodoro apart is the enchanting music that permeates the air. Live performances by talented musicians add an extra layer of magic to the already inviting ambiance.
It is evident that Ciro's passion for the culinary arts extends beyond the delectable dishes he serves. His warm and welcoming personality shines through, leaving an everlasting impression on every guest fortunate enough to cross his path.
Bravo Ciro.

Absolutely the best night spot and restaurant in London... My absolute favorite. I lived in London for ten years. My life there did not get exciting until I started going to Ciro's and meeting all kinds of famous and fabulous people. The staff is not only beautiful, but they provide excellent service. Please don't miss the great food and nightly live music entertainment. Each night they have a different variety of music. Sunday night was my favorite. Being from Las Vegas, Ciro's holds its own for being a number one night spot in London.

Lovely place, good atmosphere and good value for money .
Staff a little bit pushy as the place was over crowded .

The atmosphere of the place and live music is the best. It is not about a food - is good anyway -It is about meeting people there. Ciro is charming. Highly recommended. I love it.x

My favourite hidden gem of a place that I simultaneously want the world to know about, while also keeping it a secret! If you're a music lover, this is the best Monday night you will have in London - I always feel like I've gate-crashed a really cool party <3

Ciro's Pizza Pomodoro is an absolute institution in London since 1978. It's a soulful basement pizzeria with a lifetime of stories. The walls are collaged with photos of various famous people that have come through the doors over the years. I celebrated my birthday here as it's an ideal spot for big groups to get a bit festive. Live music, great pizza and round after round of sparkler-embellished shots - all the makings of a great evening out with friends!

You’ve got to love Ciro’s, the basement pizza restaurant in swanky Beauchamp Place in Knightsbridge. It’s been there since 1978 and most of my London friends have been regulars for as long as they’ve been pizza eaters. It’s dark and intimate, suffused with a mellow, wrinkle reducing red light, the walls are bedecked with the photos and autographs of pretty much every A-lister you can think of, from Sly Stallone to Bill Clinton, there’s live music from 9pm every night and, the main attraction, it serves London’s very best pizza. It’s always busy, buzzy and, without fail, great fun.

Tucked away on a quiet street, this place is an amazing find. Live music, dark sitting area with just enough light, and quite nice pizzas. Would recommend this to all friends.

Friday night dinner by random decision. Good tasting food and the pizza bread is delicious.

Service can be better and friendlier.

Overall would recommend.

This restaurant is just about as Italian as I am (hint: I'm not!). I'm just wondering how many of the previous reviewers are genuine and, if they are, how many other restaurants they've been to prior to this.

Ciro's boasts a 37-year history in Knightsbridge, during which time the owner also opened a restaurant in LA, where he seems to have been hanging out with movie celebrities in the '80s and '90s (plenty of pictures all over the place seem to prove this, although the thought did cross my mind that, like the Zomato reviews, not all of these might be genuine). He now appears to own restaurants in a number of culinary hot spots, such as Kharkov and Al-Khobar (I do know where the former is!).

The food experience here is dismal. I got a starter of baby squid on a bed of green lettuce. I was expecting nicely grilled or fried goodness, but I got cold and rubbery (at £10.50 the portion, or £1.50 per tiny cephalopod).

The pizzas are surprisingly similar to Pizza Express ready-made pizza, but with a thinner crust and more variety of ingredients (with some unusual combinations, too). This pizza has never seen the blue skies of Napoli, for sure.

They also serve you some horribly cheap tricks: ask for a Coke and you get a glass full of ice with (perhaps) 100ml of the stuff (£3.00). Ask for the bill and, on top of a hefty service charge (quite possibly more than the usual 12.5%, although I couldn't tell you, as the percentage wasn't mentioned), the credit card machine asks you if you'd like to leave a tip. And they don't take American Express.

I would avoid this place if I were you.

Lovely restaurant for have a nice Pizza with friends and have few drinks till lat enjoining the live music, we like these kind of restaurants!!!

Great place to go with friends for a couple of drinks and dinner. The food is delicious. They have various pizzas that different celebrities prefer. The garlic mushrooms are a must try as well. However what steals the show is the ambience. They have live music and pictures ode celebrities everywhere. It's a great place to enjoy a fun meal. One of my favourites!

Great Place to have fun, we love these kind of Restaurants, the food is also good and the service is fine. Maybe a little expensive but is good!!

Great pizza and good entertainment, if you get a table !!
Rosieparkes
It’s an underground restaurant. Tables are jam packed together, there are literally thousands of photographs of celebrities literally staring at you from every crevice (Ciro’s special friends I hear), its very dark and there’s a lot of red leather & mahogany. European waitresses seem nervous (also Ciro’s special friends) and the chef’s look angry. The silver fox, goodness knows what he was trying to play At around 9pm there was live music from a sassy silver fox playing live music, the theme of which was hard to place – somewhere in-between Spanish flamenco and classic jazz. It is rare that I have horrendous food in London. Rare but not unheard of. At Ciro’s Pizza Pomodoro in Knightsbridge, on the famous Beauchamp Place just opposite San Lorenzo where Diana allegedly used to lunch, I had the dubious pleasure to enjoy what may have been the most horrible pizza I’ve had, maybe forever? I think if you buy a frozen pizza from Tesco, what am I saying, a 2 pounds value pack for 3 frozen pizzas from Iceland, and eat it straight, without putting it in the oven first, the culinary experience may be a more pleasurable one. Live music nights? Doesn’t sound good… Ciro’s Pizza Pomodoro has been around since 1978 (one wonders why) and the walls are plastered with photos of celebrity visitors. I see Patrick Swayze smiling down on me and there is big-breasted Pamela Anderson, hugging restaurant owner Ciro, a rather sleazy looking, long haired Italian . If we believe the website, Ciro’s has been also fr

Love this place! Sunday's always has live music you can never book a table so get there early as its first come first serve. The decor with the owner and all the celebrity's is so interesting and you often see him there. Food is great lots of choice but of course the pizza is the best choice.

Pizza Pomodoro is totally unique, there is no other restaurant in London that compares to it.

Hidden away from the hustle and bustle of Knightsbridge, is this small quirky pizza place. When you enter the restaurant, you are exposed to a buzzing, vibrant atmosphere. There is a fantastic live band playing great sounds. They try to interact with the crowd, making this restaurant completely unique. This is by far the best thing about the place.

The food is brilliant, I highly recommend the mushroom starters. For main course, there is a large selection of pizza, pastas and salads, all named after celebrities who have visited the place.

Pizza Pomodoro is a must visit for anyone who wants a lively evening with great food.

Hidden away in the busy streets of Knightsbridge lies this eccentric venue that I hold responsible for one of the best evenings I have had in a long time - Pizza Pomodoro. Upon entering through the white door that hides this lively ambience, one can hear the live music pumping through the walls, which would brighten anyones mood as they walk in.

How to describe the food and drink? Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. Starting off with a plate of delicious mushrooms, and then moving on to a variety of pizzas that, indeed, were even more delicious due to the large variety of cocktails and wines available on the menu.

The night was incredible, with the live band taking requests of music all night long and really engaging the crowd giving off a bit of a Hard Rock Cafe vibes.

Definitely reccomend, and encourage everyone to go check it out!
ASAP

Great Pizza. Great Place. Fantastic Service.

The first place in London, where I found real bufala mozzarella from the South of Italy... directly on my pizza Margherita!

The menu is huge and various. Pizza is just one of your options, but I think the best choice to make at Ciro's Pomodoro. I enjoyed very much the atmosphere, I knew the restaurant from before because they are quite popular and, also the place is stylish and curated. In terms of prices, you should expect to spend a 50 £ in two.

From my experience, I think this could be a very fine place for a romantic date. Also, be sure to book a table in advance because it is a nice place where to go on weekends!

I was given a surprise for my 21st birthday at Ciro's Pomodoro in Knightsbridge. It was my first experience there; truly amazing and unforgettable.

You walk down into a cosy but absolutely buzzing vibe, with live musicians getting the night started. We were a large group, service was great and waiters were very helpful accommodating us all.

With a lot of birthdays to get through, the singers did a great job to personally wish everyone and it was a great feeling when they got around to me! A very welcoming and great atmosphere.

To top things off, the food was wonderful. I absolutely loved the garlic mushrooms that my friend had recommended, which seems to be a must for regulars. The pizza was very tasty, flavourful and perfectly cooked.

Couldn't have asked for a better surprise!

Bringing in a friend's birthday is something to always look forward to, Ciro's Pomodoro was the perfect venue for this! Live music, sensational food, amazing drinks and above all, what made this the right place was the ambience! A small, yet wonderfully done up basement restaurant, with pictures of the many celebrities that have been there, were displayed on all the walls. Having made a reservation from before, everything was set and ready for the surprise, their standards and level of organization was extremely commendable!

Birthday songs being played every 10 minutes for not only my friend, but the other 3 birthday boys out there as well, made the atmosphere so much more lively! Cakes with sparklers, champagne showers and rounds of drinks were amongst the few additional elements that really made the night all the more memorable. Besides the lovely ambience, what makes Pomedoro a great place to dine for all the foodies out there, is their delicious cheesy garlic bread, creamy mushrooms and perfect guacamole, nothing was short of extraordinary! The only downside to this experience was the space allocated to us, despite being fairly cramped, all of us thoroughly enjoyed our night. A place I would highly recommend to everyone!

When looking for a casual yet trendy evening - drinks, great food, and live music, Ciro's is the place to be. Tricky to spot, it is a tiny joint that is, in my opinion, underrated. This place is full of life, the buzzing atmosphere, great music and quite welcoming. The service is brilliant (they almost always get us a round of shots on the house.. )
The food overall is consistently very good. My personal favourite (and perhaps one of the more popular dishes served) are the garlic mushrooms and ravioli. The cocktail list is decent, with some attempt towards innovation. One would go here, like I said, for the overall experience. Worth a visit !
Camilla K
You don't go to Ciro's for the food. That being said the food is not bad. What attracts people to this tiny little eatery in knightsbridge is the atmosphere and the cache of dining where many a celebrity has dined before (the walls a covered in photos)

There is not a lot of breathing room in Ciro's. The back of your chair will be rammed up against someone else's. This can be equally frustrating and fun as often you get chatting to the table next to you, much to the chagrin of the waitress trying to deliver food to the table in the back.

There is usually live music during dinner which in my experience has been quite hit and miss, but usually you end up singing along anyway in between bites of pizza.

Good for one night, but not necessarily somewhere I'll return to.
