šŸš‡Ā Westbourne Park šŸŗĀ Ā£7.00 Estrella ā¤ļø A welcoming West London Gastro. . The Westbourne is located on a quiet side street at the edge of Notting Hill. The nearest Tube is Westbourne Park. . This pub was built in 1852 as The Westbourne Tavern, like a lot of pubs these days the ā€œTavernā€ has been dropped from the pubs name. . The decor here has a rustic shabby chic feel to it. This one bar pub has an eclectic mix of tables and chairs of which there are many. There is a good size servery which has an open kitchen on the right, the food smelt great as it wafted across the bar. The walls are adorned with a random mix of pop art, paintings, plus photos of punters whoā€™s local this is. To the left of the servery is a secluded snug which has a comfy sofa to relax in to. If you fancy catching a few rays there is plenty of seating out front. . The beer selection was craft focused and included some mainstream brands plus two cask ales. I decided to keep it simple and ordered an Estrella, my pint was excellent but was pricey at Ā£7. This Gastro has a revolving seasonal menu which includes British classics and has a distinct Mediterranean feel to it. Around the walls are a number of chalkboards detailing the extensive food and drinks options available here. . I visited just after 1pm on a Saturday lunchtime and the pub was busy with a buzzing atmosphere. The clientele were predominantly a young well-heeled crowd, there were a few other punters, one of which was an older gentleman nursing a large glass of wine who was in deep thought, pubs are great places to reflect. The soundtrack was upbeat soulful classics which was popular with a large group in for a birthday. The service was great, the staff were welcoming and all smiles. . I enjoyed my visit to @thewestbourne ,mostly because the upbeat vibe and the mix of punters. A Public House is somewhere regardless of background you can mix, socialise and interact, it was great to see that here in full swing. Definitely worth a visit folks. . ā„¹ļø Info correct on visiting 13.05.23

For me itā€™s 4.5 stars rounded up on google. The Westbourne is a great place to take the family for a casual meal or a Sunday roast. It suits families perfectly as itā€™s not a sports pub, and there is plenty of room around the tables so it doesnā€™t feel cramped. Also, there is plenty of outdoor space. I take the family there probably twice a month. More importantly, the beers are great and frequently changed. They donā€™t advertise having craft beers and sell Camden pale or beavertown. They sell regional and local quality cask and keg ale, at the right price, with a few staples such as Burning Skies ā€˜Ariseā€™. The food is for the most part good quality. Itā€™s gone up and down over the years with chef teams changing, but the regular menu provides enough variety for the occasional visitor. The Sunday roasts are on the smaller side, but top notch in terms of quality. Meats sourced from local providers and farms. The only issue for me food wise is the burgers. I love my burgers, but rarely/never order them at the Westbourne. These could and should be better to compliment the rest of the menu and pub. They are just too basic.

Traditional English pub; in the residential back streets of Nottinghill and Westbourne Grove. Very popular on a sunny Friday, end of Sept evening with my eldest and her hubby for pre dinner drinks. We got one of the last tables inside as the outside was choca. Lots of character & filled with lots of characters! We didnā€™t eat there this time but the busyness of the kitchen spoke for itself. Plenty of outside seating on the terrace if youā€™re a smoker. Proper pub. Worth a visit.

The Westbourne, what more can I say. It was born out west, of London. I can say a few more. We live close by, and I always thought this place was going to have a sort of vibe that rhymes wirh smoosh rag. I was only half right. Itā€™s notting hill, give it a break. The beer selection is better than most pubs in England. If you feel like there is no queue, youā€™re right! But really, a good bar for hanging outside with a pint of Budweiser as you chain smoke Marlboros and get judged by everyone else. Itā€™s ok, you can judge them too.

Nice little pub which seemed to be way quieter than the oyster pub/bar just over the road. Food was delicious. Service was great. We ordered 5 minutes before the kitchen closed and were still served. I know a lot of other places wouldnā€™t be taking orders in that situation. Drinks menu was a good size. My only critique is that once the pub closed, a man appeared with an extraordinarily loud voiceā€¦

Itā€™s a fine place and we are fortunate to have it, even if the dining room is a little cavernous, the sunday roast just as it should be, the duck liver is on point & the oysters are a blessing

If sun is shining then go to this pub. It always packed even during the weekdays. Bit pricy stuff but worth to pay.

Ok, first English breakfast was salmon lox, scrambled eggs with toast... These simple flavors blew up in my mouth. I am content with a witching hat and approve this message. Funny I was freaking out just hrs ago and was about to hitchhike for an adventure, but ended up doing what I always do...found a place to dance and just hoped for the best. The best was an amazing 6' Amazonian that enjoyed my mating dance and decided to motherbird me and helped me find my way to the canal and to Peter's boat the Suzi... Which would have been an impossibility, my direction skills are a -7 on land at best, and even worse at sea. They didn't open until 12, but Google says 11. And then kitchen opens at 12:30, i was very hungry that's why I remember the times. 10/10 would drink here again. Helena is the bombdigity

One of my favorite pubs in all of London. Great place to sit outside and people watch. But be warned it gets packed on a sunny day!

Great pub in Nottinghill. Ambiance is superb, good for a drink and food during the day, gets more crowded and viby closer to the evening. The food is tasty, tried the pate and was delicious. Also, the best part is that it is dog friendly and you get to see all sorts of furry guests.
