Excellent Tapas and Paella.. would recommend Tendido Cuatro, Parsons Green! Service was very good and staff were very friendly and accommodating. This is now our favorite restaurant locally. We had a selection of 'Classic Tapas' to start which were delicious followed by Seafood Paella which was also just perfect! We all agreed that the overall cost was not that expensive for such a good meal and will definitely go back there again.
... a tortilla, the spicy chorizo, and a chorizo and quail paella. The spice chorizo was simple but tasty, the tortilla was sadly bit bland, but the paella was really nice, good seasoning, nice size, and good traditional flavours.
My little man took me out for delicious tapas for Mother’s Day a few weeks ago. Tendido Cuatro, in Parson’s Green, is sister restaurant to the popular Tendido Cero/Cambio de Tercio in Kensington.
We used to live doors away from Tendido Cero when we first moved to London and it remains one of my favourite Spanish tapas in London. This was the first time we were trying Tendido Cuatro and I was wishing for flavour and consistency. Thankfully, they did not disappoint.
The menu suggests an order of 3-4 tapas plates per person which was easily accomplished with a standard list of old favourites. We were briefly tempted by their paella menu but chose to skip it as there was no way we could manage the minimum order of 2 paella portions along with the tapas!
Of course, we started with the obligatory Sangria and Padron peppers to whet the appetite.
My New Year’s ‘no red meat’ resolution broke at Tendido Cuatro as there was no way I was leaving without eating Iberico Jamon and my favourite ham and bechamel croquettas. Absolutely divine, especially after 3 months of no red meat!!!
I loved the unique presentation of the Patatas Bravas. They don’t usually look so elegant.
The grilled squid and pulpo were favourites from Tendido Cero and tasted as good as our memories.
And, finally the dessert. The Crema Catalana was good but oh my churros…YUMMY!
I left Tendido Cuatro full of tapas and broken resolutions. It was a memorable Mother’s Day meal and we will definitely return with room for paella.
Highly recommend Tendido Cuatro for excellent Spanish food in a local neighbourhood setting. Do check it out if you are in the area and don’t skip the sangria, croquettas and churros!
Fantastic wine list. Iberico ham. Croquettes.
Gambas. It's all very good - they do a set menu for big groups which I'd definitely recommend. Delicious desserts surprisingly in a Spanish restaurant. Nadal rumoured to go there every night of Wimbledon
Great Spanish food and service, especially try the paella if you can !
Really good tapas, bags of character , friendly staff and a short but great menu. We managed to get an outside table to make the experience even more enjoyable. Do not miss the chargrilled chicken skewers or the patatas bravas. Great drinks too....even for our pooch which the waitress brought a bowl of iced water without us asking. Highly recommended.
Tendido Cuatro is my local Spanish restaurant. They have a good mix of tapas (some quite particularly good but expensive like Pulpo a la Galega) and Paella as main course. I am giving only 4 stars as last time my paella was partially burnt but is generally very good and is served in good size. TC has a good list of wines and cocktails (not an expert but they seem to have a long list of gins). Desserts include chocolate Churro.
Lovely local Spanish tapas restaurant and bar. A good selection of tapas and Spanish cuisine. Staff are friendly and helpful by sharing when to stop over ordering on food. The bread basket could be greatly improved by adding additional selections to the basket.
Paella was perfectly cooked and Spanish dishes we ordered well prepared. Service was professional and friendly. I would recommend this place if you are looking for an Spanish restaurant.
The food in here was incredible. We got loads of sharers for me and my family and every single one was amazing. We also shared a paella again incredible!
Being Spanish you'll guess I'm quite picky with Spanish food. But I couldn't be happier with Tendido Cuatro. The staff were spot on: lovely and extremely attentive, we never had to wait more than 5' for our food and constantly kept on filling our glasses and removing empty plates. The food was fantastic too - innovative bravas, great croquetas and ham and the tuna tartare was simply the highlight of the night. Will definitely come back and recommend.
This a tapas place the specializes in Pealla. They have a great wine selection, and the grilled octopus was the best I have had in London.
Expect to wait as it is always busy,
5 stars for what it is: tasty tapas with good service and a very decent wine selection. Not overly fancy, appropriately priced and a reliable place for a good dinner
Excellent. This was my first visit for a few years and I wonder why I left it so long. Fantastic food, service and ambiance. The patatas bravas are legendary, but everything else is great too!
Really nice paella!! Good service!
Excellent Spanish food and great selection of wines. Best paella in London. Too expensive, though.
Best restaurant in Parsons Green by a long way. Food is authentic and superb, service is excellent and the bill was reasonable
Paella was great. Wine quite expensive but very good.
