Lovely family owned pub with great outdoor seating for summer and cosy indoor seating for the colder weather. Roasts are excellent with an abundant amount of gravy :) A good selection of board games too. Staff are always friendly and knowledgeable about the beers. Would highly recommend if you're in East London!
Service was excellent, they also went out of their way to make a dish off the menu for our child. Food was really good, chicken was tender. Last dinner before the flight back, and I'm happy with the fish and chips. Thank you
A wonderful find for us. Our room was spacious. The pub lively but not over crowded. The service by Ash and Julia at the bar was great. Very attentive to the guests. The food by Chef and manager Michael was delicious. I highly recommend the Big 10 burger. Overall hidden gem of a place.
My favourite pub in London! Nicest staff and great variety of drink fairly priced. Owner Michael is lovely and so is the food. They also do an incredible Sunday quiz with Julia who is fantastic highly recommend!
This place is amazing. I did the quiz by myself and was treated like royalty. The host Julia was so entertaining and lovely, the questions were great, and altogether I had a brilliant night. I was so looked after, and both food and drink were also impeccable. Will genuinely come back every week I can.
(Review of pub, not hotel…)
A lovely, cosy, welcoming pub with good beers/drinks, tasty food, and friendly staff. Could be cheaper but overall a lovely place to go, one of the best in a wide area. Nice friendly atmosphere, whether quiet or packed. Worth a trip even from up near Victoria park. Top pub
It was a nice b&b.. but there where somethings that can be better that is.. for me it bed was to small and the water presure was on the low site in the shower. That meant that if i wanted to use the bath. I needed to wait a real long time.. dont know if that is a problem from london it self ore this b&b.
This place is a hidden gem! This is actually my local, but until recently I hadn’t visited. I am now making it my mission to make up for lost time 😉. Staff are lovely, super friendly, and atmosphere is always good! I’ve not been there yet when it’s been crazy busy, but I like what I’ve seen so far!! Probably one of my favourite things though is the food! I’ve now eaten from the Sunday and weekday menu and the food is just divine - freshly made, and even the likes of the chips (fries) appeared to be hand cut!! The Sunday Roast has to be one of my favourites in the local area! I reluctantly recommend (reluctantly because I selfishly don’t want it to become so popular I can’t get a table 😂)
Love this pub! Amazing food by Michael and such a friendly man! Sunday night quiz night hosted by Julia is a can’t miss! Such a wonderful friendly and fun environment!
We stayed at The Angel of Bow last night and such great value for money. The room was clean and well kept and the shared shower room, bathroom and toilet were spot on. The pub itself has a great selection of beers and gins so it was perfect. Not far from the DLR either, we'd definitely stay again!
Nice little pub on a Saturday afternoon. Variety of seating, music entertainment at times, good place.
Great staff, great food... a real nice little pub 10 minutes from where I live.
I very much enjoyed my Sunday afternoon there.
We attended a function here.
We did not stay, so we can not comment on the rooms.
Has a toilet dedicated as disabled but it can not be accessed with a wheelchair.
Staff were very helpful and the service was good, as was the food.
Very limited parking.
Love this place great food /esp chips . Great drink , nice crowd very friendly
And if anyone is so purile they want to complain about a hair then they need to hope they don’t have something more serious to worry about in their lives . I mean what would you want them to do ! People are so insulted by Anything ! There is hair everywhere get over it . Food here is great Sunday lunch is just right not too much vege is great and they look after you . Rooms look nice to
Perfect place if you are going to ABBA voyage, everyone was really friendly, the pub and rooms were all quirky.Greqt place to stay,I will be coming back
Drinks and food are good. Convenient pit-stop before heading home.
The Angel of Bow's selection of craft beers was excellent and I was impressed with the local community vibe. The open mic night was so much fun and I loved the burn night celebration with haggis. I highly recommend this pub to anyone looking for a great time in London! This is one of my favourite local pubs in my neighborhood. Also they are very dog friendly, you are likely to see a couple of cute pups singing along during open mic night.
My favourite pub in the area! Great variety of drinks - even international ones!
The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. When we didn’t have a table and the place was busy they tried to accommodate
The food is really really good and the menu has a lot of options.
They organise a lot of live music nights and even salsa evenings! Also they have a lot of board games
Couldn’t recommend more!
A wonderful place with great service and great beer. We have been here several times and we really liked it.
