been coming here since my teens in the 80s and so pleased they're still open. good to see guy who owns it still working away and I love their pie mash and liquor. i live in Spain now so whenever I am in the country, i come here or another establishment to have pie and mash. this place is good as
Busy place order two regular fish’s and chips. Had to wait 15 minutes for the dinner to arrive but well worth the wait. The fish was one of the best I’ve tasted.
Walthamstow lost its pie & mash shop years ago, everyone has a favourite & that was mine, but the made on site pies are excellent here. I’ve found my new favourite just a shame it’s 15 miles or a 90 minute public transport journey.
Love something fishy, been coming since i was a baby and its never changed. Same friendly service, same locals, same decor, menu and prices have only gone up minmally over 20 years with inflation. Been coming here for years. I don't think much of there sausage in batter but chips are perfect, the fish is top quality and they have 1 of the best saveloy in London.
Food was good and reasonably priced, one time I my chips were very soggy and undercooked but overall really good.
I could do with Something Fishy right now. This is the best Fish & Chip Shop I have been to in London. The staff are friendly, the service is excellent; it is worth the 52-minute drive from Croydon because the food is not overly priced. En-route!
One of the best chicken nuggets I've had, staff are always helpful and friendly. Always positive vibes there. Food is served fresh. Definitely recommend Something fishy
