A great seasonal menu with a focus on fresh and tasty ingredients. The current special is really delicious (Truffle Mushrooms). The peanut butter/jam porridge was also yumm! The poached eggs with Rose Harissa Beans are delish! They also make a great tasting coffee.
Nice place with a lovely courtyard at the back. Nice breakfast stop with great food. I would come again for the breakfast for sure.
The people who worked there we're really nice and the food was AMAZING! We had the Sourdough Bread with poached eggs and the toasted Banana Bread. Both were amazing! Totally recommend it. (It's also very affordable)
the food is absolutely delicious (poached eggs on sourdough toast with harissa beans & toasted banana bread with caramelised bananas and yogurt) and very allergy/non-dairy friendly. also the staff is very kind. even the toilets are very cute and clean. very lovely experience <3
I just always go back for the toasties. Small but delicious menu of food, carefully prepared with fresh and local ingredients, even a little grocery market in front for when you need some special ingredients. I’ve yet to try their outdoor dining, but normally grab a takeaway toastie and eat it in the park. Service can be a little slow, especially if you’re just getting takeaway instead of stopping, but I don’t mind going for a quick walk and it’s usually ready by the time I’m back.

I think I missed it twice until I decided to try the 3rd time. Finally, I found this coffee shop among the rainbow houses and shops on Kennington Road, which has a very low-key sign board. But everything is worthwhile, because it is such a cheerful hidden gem. Ready to explore this lovely space with yellow coffee machine and yellow walls.

Seating: They have two floors and a lovely backyard. There are many communal tables, chairs and stools on the ground floor, which could accommodate 25-30 seats. And they labeled Laptop free zone so that the seats can be made most of. And on the basement, it is another small world, with fire place, couches, communal tables and chairs, and a shared library, it feels just like at home.

Ambience: The interior design is minimalist and chic. I like the bright color they use inside, and the yellow coffee machine really attracts people's eyeball and matches very well with the yellow wall, which makes you think about the happy moment of sunny days. Although it is located on the main street, it is very quiet and a good place to get your work done. Surrounded by cookbooks, stationary, homeware, and gifts, if you just sit back and read a cookbook with a cup of coffee or their loose leaf tea, it also makes you a lovely day.

Had brunch here! We got poached eggs on toast and it was absolutely delicious. Coffee was great, all the staff were friendly and helpful, and the place was very clean :) Great atmosphere, will definitely be returning - and taking another look at all their cookbooks for sale!

One of my fav brunch spots is open again! Delicious, fresh and organic food. They make a mean coffee too. The service staff are so friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth a visit!
The team at VB are the best 👌🏻 Even on a super busy Sunday morning brunch time, they take care of us and are always super bright and cheery.
Try the red velvet latte for a gorgeous treat. Sample some handmade cakes and deffo grab an avo on toast with gorgeous mixed mushrooms. 🥑🍳

Cute place with a lovely outdoor area in the back. Had a cortado with almond milk, very friendly servers. Indoor walls covered with coffee-table books, candles & paraphernalia that you’ll likely never need but are trendy & eye catching.
I recommend the Aztec spiced hot chocolate , it’s very nice. Food is decent as well, not bad but also not amazing , just simple things . The bacon they use is great though. It’s a nice little spot .
Lovely staff and ambience. The food and the coffee were delicious - had the banana bread and it was a great surprise with fresh fruits and yogurt... Would definitely recommend.
