Lovely bar with excellent food, staff and ambiance. Definitely will be back! Great venue for private parties (upstairs room holds 24-30 seated, with a bar). Also host for gallery artwork - currently some excellent rock and roll pictures!

Lovely atmosphere in the venue with very attentive staff. Decor is sleek with some cool paintings dotted around, will be popping in next time I'm in that area.

Food is really delicious and well priced. Cocktails are probably the best I've had in a while, their mixologists obviously know what they're doing 👍

We had a private event here and it was absolutely fantastic. The team were so friendly and accommodating, the food and cocktails were delicious and it's a really lovely space as well. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to hold a private function or a drink and a bite with friends. Thanks to all of the team!

The staff here are fantastic. Some of the best service I’ve seen. However, the burgers and wings were some of the worst I’ve had. Wings were tiny and dry, and the burger bun was cold and patties incinerated. The kitchen was about to switch to tapas so hopefully there’ll be an improvement. Only moretti on draft.

I recently celebrated my 40th birthday at Great Guns Social, and I am beyond thrilled to share what an absolutely fantastic experience it was! From the delectable food to the vibrant atmosphere, everything about this cocktail bar and restaurant exceeded my expectations. Let's start with the food. The menu was an absolute delight, offering a wide range of options to suit every palate. From tantalizing appetizers to mouthwatering main courses, each dish was expertly prepared and beautifully presented. I was particularly impressed with the attention to detail in both taste and presentation. The flavors were bold and exquisite, showcasing a wonderful blend of fresh ingredients and culinary expertise. Whether you're a seafood lover, a fan of hearty steaks, chicken or even a vegetarian, Great Guns Social has something exceptional to offer. Speaking of exceptional, the atmosphere at Great Guns Social truly set the stage for an unforgettable evening. The venue has a unique and trendy vibe that effortlessly combines urban chic with cozy comfort. The décor was tastefully curated, creating an ambiance that felt both stylish and inviting. The dimmed lighting, trendy furnishings, and artistic touches contributed to an atmosphere that perfectly complemented the celebratory mood of the evening. What truly made my 40th birthday party stand out, however, was the impeccable service. The staff at Great Guns Social went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcomed and pampered. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The servers were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, helping us make informed choices that suited our preferences. The bartenders were true mixology wizards, crafting cocktails that were both visually stunning and delightfully flavorful. I must also commend the event coordination team at Great Guns Social. They worked closely with me to organize every aspect of the celebration, ensuring that my vision for the event was brought to life flawlessly. They handled everything from seating arrangements to special requests with utmost professionalism, allowing me to enjoy my special day without any stress or worries. In conclusion, Great Guns Social exceeded all expectations as the perfect venue for my 40th birthday celebration. The combination of exceptional food, inviting atmosphere, and top-notch service made for an evening that will forever be cherished by me and my guests. If you're looking for a place to host a memorable event or simply enjoy a fantastic meal, I wholeheartedly recommend Great Guns Social. It's a true gem that knows how to make any occasion truly special.

Lovely place - can't fault the food (which was flavourful), the staff (who were friendly and knowledgeable) or the cocktails (which were quaffable). Slightly off the beaten track, we'd been years ago when it was Goldfinch's. It's quite handy for Southwark Playhouse. Slightly expensive, so may do well if they did a couple of specials, but the half-price cocktail happy hour(s) helped! Will go back!

Some of the best food in London at a cool location - brilliant cocktails, stylish decor and really friendly staff. The kitchen rotates pop ups every few months; so there's always something new to try. The current pop-up, Fodder, serve delicious and innovative modern British 'pub tapas' - the chef's fine dining roots are evident, and original and nostalgic plates with locally foraged ingredients really set them appart in London's pop-up scene. Highly recommended: try the kimchi bloody mary or the smokey old fashioned (served in a small vial to pour over ice) - they rock!

I have to give a great shout out to Ash Who is by far the most knowledgable bartender I have met, his knowledge of the menu and the history of the bar is second to none. The bar is casual, yet sophisticated, with moonlighting to make you feel as if you are drinking in the heart of the city. The contrast between the dark woods and the deep blacks of the walls is a welcome sight compared to many of the city's more over-lit establishments. with a plethora of choice the bar has spared no expense on quality of the spirits, from plantation rums being absolutely amazing to unique home made spirits this bar is a passion of love than your run-of-the-mill bars. For anyone who likes refined cocktails, warm and pleasant company, and a bar all about quality, this is defiantly the place to be.

A gem of a find on Southwark Bridge Road, a minute from Mint Street Park. Super cool and hip in atmosphere and deco, warm and welcoming from the delightful team. Anywhere who takes time to welcome my dog as much as me gets the vote. Great selection of tapas and small plates and for its location reasonably priced. My only irritation is that I hadn’t known about this place sooner. I will be back. With friends. Check it out.

Wonderful food, great prices on drinks, football was shown, and staff were incredibly friendly even on a busy World Cup night. Pepa and River served us very well. Would 100% recommend and will be returning soon.

Fantastic experience. The staff were impeccable and accommodating. We had multiple cocktails from the menu then fancied something different and the bar staff created a cocktail that is now arguably the best cocktail I’ve ever had.

Came for Rajiv’s 9 course Nepalese supper club and it was so good. Every course had different flavours and spices, like a food tour of Nepal. So full at the end! The staff are really friendly and welcoming. Really great crowd too and lovely stylish pub. The review by ‘Sam’ below is very strange, a supper club is a casual event not a restaurant experience, to meet new people. The wine service was perfect btw! Lol

The staff here are top notch. I saw them rescue an old lady and make sure she got home safe. Absolute gems, extraordinary service.
