Wow. What an amazing experience. Not very far from Paddington Station and Well worth it! Atmosphere, the people working here, the chefs preparing the food and the Sunday Roast was exceptional!! Beef was cooked perfect, the vegetables were amazing and potatoes roasted to perfection. Again the staff made this memorable.

What a fantastic find! Fantastic vibe. Terrific service and fabulous food. A gem in a very busy city. Inn6 days I came her three times in between some serious dining but this little local is jewel. Well done to all involved!

Like a bit of people watching, this is your spot if you can find a seat outside. We were here on a good, almost rain free day, sat outside watching the world go by, having our fill of beer and wine. Good wine and a bit of banter with the staff, always a winner!!

Enjoyed an exceptionally delicious lunch here! We came around several times for dinner, but the place was always packed, now I see why 😁 Excellent food and wines, truly cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Will surely come again

Beautiful old pub with a lovely interior, great for a quiet night out! Very reasonably priced and the staff and super nice! Both the croquettes were lovely and fluffy on the inside and crisp on the outside without being oily, the steak was lovely and the cauliflower risotto was delicious and fluffy with a nice roasted flavour!

We had a great time overall! We had a table booked for a big group and there seem to have been some misunderstanding where they did not have enough seats ready, but the issue was quickly remedied by the staff. The Service was friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious! I had the Portobello mushroom and goats cheese for starters, the bavette steak for mains and the panna cotta for desert and all dishes were a good size portion, and very tasty! Everyone else at the table was very happy with their meals also. Drinks prices are the average for the area - wouldn't say it's cheap but to be expected in central London. Will definitely be returning!

Great bar with a great relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. A good selection, reasonably priced and just a really nice place to settle in for a few drinks. Apparently the food is good but I'll have to save that for a next visit.

One of my favourite pubs to spend some quiet neighbourhood time! Gets the occasional tourist who inevitably has been recommended the place by a local.. so 99% pass the vibe check 🤣! Lovely little place to have relaxed drinks with friends and family! The food is pretty good too - but check kitchen timings!

The restaurant is downstairs it's only opened a few days a week. Very unique menu with a little bit of everything from duck to a hamburger. Wait staff is understaffed with only two people trying to serve everybody. The atmosphere is great but unfortunately the bar music from upstairs is blaring downstairs so you will be trying to have a fine meal listening to Oasis yelling in your ear.

A proper hidden gem; the staff are super friendly & welcoming, the drinks aren’t overpriced and the food was delicious. We even got to have a say in the music that was being played for a while! Very useful that it’s only a short walk from Paddington station. Would absolutely recommend a visit!

I love this pub. I'm local and had been meaning to drop by for a while. Now I have it has turned into my local of choice and I've sent several others here. The drinks choice is good, the food is very good but the decor is my absolute fave. Love the look they've gone for, keeping the old signs and ambiance. The regulars are also great- keep it up!

We came here as recommended by a friend, and we are glad we did! Everyone was very friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant and calm. We came for the Sunday roast and heartily recommend it.

Traveling with 10 family members. So it can be a challenge to find a pub that can or will accommodate 11 people. This place was busy, but with a bit of a smile and a give me a minute. We were seated together and served drink and food in short order. It was my first pub and a wonderful experience.

Nice bar with a good beer and spirit selection. Very polite staff who were attentive and accommodating when we asked for a plug socket to do our work on laptops. Nicely presented (and deliciously smelling) restaurant downstairs - but we just had a drink and didn't eat.
