Now under "new" Management (over a year), this great pub was my regular. It has had many changes over 25 years, and my Wife and I drifted away. But NOW, Ian, his wife Sue and Daughter Max have transformed this pub from "a pub" to an establishment you want to visit, drink in, eat in ..... yes, still a pub ...BUT a traditional pub. I strongly recommend "ex-patrons" to pay a visit. you will be amazed at the changes and the welcome you will recieve when you walk through the front door. Please, give the G&D another chance.

Such a warm place to eat and relax. We were here due to Lantern Festival near by and this is the far best place to eat. It was also very warm inside. There are 3 different rooms and a garden. We went early to park our car and watch the rugby while wait. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. They have done their best to be as fast as a human bean can. They are also chatty too ;) We both ordered Lamb Shank and they were good We would definitely come back to this pub if we are around. It is also family and disable friendly.

Great pub nice traditional feel, right next to the brewery. An easy walk from the Premier Inn where we stayed, on a weekday evening it wasn't over busy but it was welcoming and cosy. I had one of the best shepherds pies I've ever had in a pub and of course the London Pride was as always amazing.

Great food, we had a burger which was nice, however, their basic burger(which has the patty, a bit of lettuce and tomatoes, and includes fries ) I think is a bit overpriced £12, to add cheese, jalapeños or bacon, you need to pay extra £1 for each extra ingredient. The beef chilli nachos are not bad, a little bit to much cumin but I still like them, service was a bit slow even when not busy!

Beautiful food, lovely staff that will go to no end to make sure your happy. Great beer too from the brewery that just across the road. Marianne in particular was just a delight. Thanks guys. I’ll be back when I’m back in the area.

Lovely place. Warm log fire. Car park. Near Fuller's brewery at Chiswick. Good range of food, including chicken in a basket, steak and ale pie. Super range of beer. Very welcoming staff.

A lovely early 18th century pub next to the Fuller's Griffen Brewery. Great beer and a lovely attitude. Almost a brewery tap! A lovely chilled venue to pop in for a drink.

Unsurprisingly, the best pint(s) of London Pride I have ever had.

Large pub with friendly staff. They have a very large garden with heaters as well so outdoor seating in colder weather is not an issue. Good selection of beers and reasonable prices. I haven’t eaten here yet, but the food looked great from what I’ve seen. I’ll definitely be back.
