Had a lovely romantic meal here. It has a great ambience with enthusiastic waiters who seem to take great pride in their service.
We shared a gorgeous bottle of red as well as an authentic Peroni for the man.
The food was divine, we couldn't say no to 3 courses here as it all looked so tempting.
We started with ciabatta & olives, calamari fritti and some gorgeous prawns in garlic, white wine and chilli sauce. This all went down a treat and gave us a taste for the delicious mains that were yet to come.
The man ordered steak (as I was paying, yeah, thanks mate!) and I had Spigola alla Griglia which is Seabass with red pesto mash and spinach. Both were cooked perfectly and had the best flavours (good work Chefs). We were almost licking our plates when the smiley waiter came over to clear the table and offer desserts. When in Rome...
How could we possibly say no to a traditional Tiramisu and Gelato?! So glad we ordered these too! Food heaven.
Perfect evening to enjoy with the other half, even if we were twice the size by the time we left.

Crystal palace seems to be a area that is bustling with restaurants from Cuban to Italian…..Speaking of Italian a certain restaurant stands taller and has its chest out like a peacock more then the rest ‘Ponte Nuovo’.With a good choice of our favourite Italian food and yes the classic pizza which you can ring in and come and collect if you choose to, this restaurant is very relaxing with a clean spacious interior and bar to match. I came for lunch and was greeted by friendly staff that was carefree and wasn’t breathing down our neck for a order to be placed which makes a welcomed change. The selection of seafood must be mentioned and it taste just as fresh as you imagine it to be dining in Naples by the coast of Italy.Having been in Italy a couple of months earlier,the craving for the Italian food never deserted me and I’m pleased to say that Ponte Nuovo did not disappoint, if you get a chance do give it a try. Been looking for a stand out restaurant that prepares a good sea food dish in London, I have visited some very good ones, but Ponte Nuovo stood out for me. On getting there, the hostess welcomed me with a smile, very well dressed and seemed happy doing her job. The restaurant had a lovely ambience, neat and a mix of slow relaxing music.
Choosing the meal to eat was the most difficult part as I had several good choices to pick from. I eventually picked Risotto Marinara from the main dish menu, which I would recommend to any seafood dish lover as I really loved it, beat my expectations to be honest. I also plan to return soon to try the Spaghetti All'aragosta (ie. half lobster with spaghetti). Highly recommended!!
I had a wonderful time here with my friends. I must say they were very accommodating, we shared a lot of jokes and the laughing was a bit loud. I was waiting for some kind of rebuff from the restaurant, it never came. We were allowed to stay for much longer than most busy restaurants would allow and the manager was right there with excellent wine and drink advice. By the way, listen to him, he knows what he is talking about. The environment was dreamy and warm. The food was excellent, lots of flavour. My best was the sea food rissoto . I loved it, we all tasted each other's food and found it great. Only one person did not like her spaghetti, however the manager did advise her of an option he felt she would like better. She ended up having this and was happy. I also want to commend the manager for getting in touch about a mistake on the bill, unbelievably kind and humble. I can see, customer satisfaction means a lot. Overall excellent service. I will certainly be returning there.

This restaurant is a favourite of ours. Going there since years and never once were disappointed.
The menu is not overloaded and has the typical Italian staples but offers other choices as well. What ever we had to eat here was fresh and tasty.
Good assortment of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.
Waiters are friendly and helpful even when the restaurant is packed.
It is better to book beforehand when going in a big group over the weekend.
During the week it is a bit quieter.
Gianni, thank you personally so much for making our evening celebrating my wife's birthday such a success. The services was fantastic, the atmosphere was relaxed making it a very memorable evening. Of course, the food was amazing; the spaghetti marinara, calamari, calves liver and T bone steaks were perfection - our compliments to the chief. Hope to see you again very soon.
Had a great experience here last Thursday for my best mates pre wedding meal. There were 25 adults and one child. They looked after us really well,all the food came out in sync, I had rack of lamb and it tasted amazing, everybody really enjoyed themselves and the staff were amazing. I would totally rate this restaurant and will definitely be back..
I have been going to this restaurant for the last 5 years. We go on average 5-6 times per month. Really friendly and welcoming and the food is lovely. I have tried most dishes and they have always been tasty and a great portion size. Good wine and the cocktails are good too.
Fantastic food, service, atmosphere and helpful staff. We had an amazing time here this evening. The food was delicious and the staff were so helpful, with 3 children it is always a challenge to get some thing for everyone but this was not the case here, they were very accommodating to our requests? Highly recommended.
Very good service, the staff was very attentive and when we said there was some allergies they offered to change anything needed to accommodate.
The place was very well looked after and organized.
The food is the real thing, all dishes were cooked perfectly. No pictures as we were all to hungry to take them.
If you have the chance go there as its worth it.

Some particularly good dishes - aubergine, mushrooms, gnocchi. Recommend the more Italian dishes, steaks are great pieces of meat, but I prefer mine more heavily seasoned.

Located amongst a cluster of Italians/pizzerias on the Crystal Palace triangle. This one has a very nice contemporary decor and friendly service. We both had great pizzas, also serves pasta and meat dishes/steak. All the food going out looked great.
I have been a customer of this restaurant for the last 20 years and this place has a lot of fond memories. It has been my favourite Italian go to all this time and situated in the heart of Crystal Palace triangle. The staff are always friendly and accommodating and the food is amazing. I went there the other day with my other half and 2 kids and the portion sizes and quality has never disappointed
I haven't been to Ponte Nuovo in years but they last time I came the food was amazing and I've always remembered the quality.
I had a Salmon and prawn linguine with chilli in a cream sauce and that pasta was on point. The chef Paolo (I hope I spelt your name correctly!) Made my dish perfect. Beautifully presented, aromatic and delicious. So much so I burnt my mouth trying to eat it and that's saying something!
Fantastic service by the waiters.

I recently had my Birthday Lunch at Ponte Nuovo, first I'd like to say the food in this restaurant is always fantastic.
My birthday lunch was amazing, I told Johnnie the owner there would be at least 20 people however 40 people turned up.
The staff coped brilliantly and a amazing time was had by everyone.😎😎😎😎🙏🎉
Dined here yesterday with a large group of friends, a birthday 🎉 get together. Staff friendly as usual. A few issues with orders but staff coped well. I frequent the restaurant as I do love ❤️ the food. The menu options are great and the manager and staff are always very welcoming!
