Amazing food service and beer, large group 25 of us ordered individually in small groups the lady behind the bar took all the food orders like a pro, explained there may be a wait and she would try to get the orders to the kitchen close together and out together so we could enjoy food as a family. She then remembered everyone’s drink which she made last. Outstanding service, food came together hot and quick very impressed. The view and location are brilliant but what make this place great is the well trained team throughout the pub.
Polite team excel in service going above and beyond to ensure you experience is above expectations. It was very busy and all staff were great at serving quickly and still smiling, the bar queue was quick to move. Large screen for the football and the second bar was opened to ensure we didn’t miss a second of the game. Great atmosphere will be back.
Another one from my fabulous London trip. This one is a very rustic old fashioned pub! Gives a good ole London vibe! Definitely a must try if you’re in town.
You should try the fish fingers. They were to die for! And the classic chicken burger is 😍😍💕.
We tried the calamari and it was amazing.

The location of the place is brilliant. Just right beside the river Thames. The outdoor seating is awesome. It is a nice experience to drink by the riverside. The indoor seating is a slightly small. The service is a bit slow too. Overall a nice place to spent some quality time.
Made a booking at Old Thameside Inn to meet friends who were visiting London from abroad (our first time to this restaurant). Booking was very easy to do via email and since the weather was nice they reserved us a table outside in the shade as I had requested in my booking. All the staff were super friendly and accommodated our stroller at the table (there’s also baby changing facility available!). We had fish and chips and the award winning steak and ale pie - all of it was so delicious! Thank you for a lovely lunch with an incredible view!
We stopped off here after going to Borough Market. One of the pubs you can stop off at walking the Southbank. Great spot to watch the river with views of the city and have something to eat and/or drink. There's plenty of outside seating, but that is very quickly filled when the weather is fine, as are the standing tables and spots on the railings. Great selection of beers, and sport is shown on screens inside.
We had some drinks at this pub. Nice view at the river and several possibilities to sit or stand outside. You can order via QR code & table no - drinks are brought directly to your table.
We did not try any food.
Great place to have pints and enjoy some traditional plates . Had the Nicholson haddock fish and chips which was delicious, fresh fish with great batter and fries and tartare sauce .
Pricey for a tiny portion of chips however service is fast. My friends bag was stolen though and whilst the staff were helpful this place is full of pikeys so be aware. Average London prices for beers but not extortionate in comparison to some places. Nice views.
Because it was a monday, we found the place was relatively quiet, which suited us. There was scaffolding all around the building which was slightly detrimental to the atmosphere. The service was good and a fair selection. There was 8 of us. Many had pie, vegetables and mash or chips which at £17 each plus service charge we considered expensive 'pub grub'. a couple had Apple pie and ice cream sweet. The scoop of ice cream was the smallest I've ever seen, smaller than a golf ball. We also feel that the service charge should be optional.
What a lovely experience I had. A typical English pub situated at the banks of Thames River serves amazing food and drinks.. The atmosphere inside is worth all the hype that this place has. The fish and fries that I had along with calamari were undoubtedly one of the best that I have had. Strongly recommend this place for people looking to experience the vibe of an English pub.
I Met friend for lunch there. We sat on the Outdoor area facing the River. It was a great time. We ordered our Sunday roast and drinks at the bar. Staff was friendly, food was good, but the veggies could have been better prepared. I had Beef roast and for the price paid I got on 2 very thin slice of beef...... disappointed. But the place is busy, located next to Borough Market,by the Thames and with great view. We were on the Outdoor area, where they havegiant parasol and heaters, so is really helpful for British weather.
This was the second time I have been there. Is a7min walk from London Bridge station.
Best Guinness. Delicious fish n chips! Great setting
Beautiful old tavern with a patio and large interior. Service was friendly and quick. The ocean fish and chips were good - fish was amazing, chips were a little dry and the scampi was ok. Mushy peas could have used a lot more seasoning though.
Salmon and dill fish cakes were great! But the potatoes also could use more seasoning.
Landlords platter had an assortment of bar snacks/appetizers including beef croquettes, chorizo, fried chicken thigh pieces, peppers, Mac and cheese bites and sauces. Mac and cheese bites could use more seasoning, otherwise it was fine.
Great views over the Thames!!
Yummy food, however could have been a little warmer. Drinks came very quickly and the service was very efficient - you get table service but order through the QR code. Would recommend, prices good, and great location!
I sat outside on the terrace area, you can order by QR code on the table. Not a bad view across the river, and pretty good food. Had fish and chips.
Popped in mainly for a drink, food was being served and look well presentable..
The red wine was up to standard and our group found a good size table to all gather around ...Good time was had by all
A pint, a cider and a sunset view over the Thames. What more can I say? A perfect London experience, with an actual sunset as a bonus!
Good for a drink. Prices for food are really expensive. - Other options available.
Been here numerous times with friends after work. One of great pubs to visit in the area. Great atmosphere and great for a drink with friends with a view across the Thames and London.
I must note that the food options here are rather pricey, which might not appeal to those seeking good value for money. Consequently, I would recommend exploring alternative options elsewhere.
The cocktails where so good! The setting was stunning, the food was average, the nachos where good but everything else was a little lacking and the padron peppers where just cold un-cooked peppers with salt on top, the calamari was cold without lemon or aioli, the chicken was just chicken, would go again but expect basic pub grub.
