So it's a Wetherspoon's... but in all honesty, it's one of the chain's nicer pubs in London. With river-front views and outdoor seating, it's great in the warmer months. There's plenty of seating inside so even though it's always packed, you will usually be able to grab yourself a table or booth.
The food is 'Spoons food. It's cheap, it arrives swiftly and it's edible. One of Wetherspoon's major plus points for me is that they have a really big range of vegetarian options compared to most pubs. From sweet potato to curry to quorn burritos to halloumi wraps, it beats the usual choice of veggie burger or... veggie burger.
One of the nicer spoons in London, in fact, you would never even know it was a spoons. It has a beautiful view over the river and is large inside. You always know what you're getting with spoons but this is the best of the bunch (and you can get a beer for a few quid so you can't get better than that)
As i walked into the bright restaurant the smell of the pure british food filled my nose,there is a lovely view of the river, if you go at night the whole restaurant glows and shimmers under the moonlight. This restaurant is amazing and the food is quality i would recommend this to absolutely anybody happy eating.
Been to this place twice now and the food is good and inexpensive, the Gammon Steak is excellent. There is a good range of beer too. The only downfall was that on Tuesday nights after seven, the beer is served in plastic glasses as it is students night out and they generally damaged these glasses. I however didn't observe any commotion on either nights I visited and the doors were strictly guarded by doormen.
To begin with, welcoming and pleasant service. The staff is amicable, attentive and prompt! The place overlooks river thames and is a very relaxing view. Comfortable and calm atmosphere. Ordered two large sausages, two large bacon , both very delicious. Also ordered well cooked eggs, crispy and golden hash browns, toasts and fried mushrooms and tomatoes! This place is AMAZINGLY pocket friendly! A MUST try!
I had amazing value for my meal . I had baked potato and a glass of wine and I was delighted. The food was amazing and the wine also tasted pretty nice.
The staff was great and friendly. They were wearing best attire possible that is a smile.

I would recommend this pub for an over all good experience. I ordered fish and chips along with a drink and the food was on the whole pretty good. The service was warm and and the ordered delivered with a smile. The bar staff was also very friendly. Visit the pub you won't be let down.
Had lunch here on our way back from the British library and it was wonderful. The ambiance is welcoming, and the setting very pleasing. The sausage whirl here was exquisite and there was a good variety in the beverages on offer. It was good value for money too.
The bottled beers are good and were very reasonably priced too. The quality of the food in accordance with the fact that this is a pub was great. The service was pretty quick too and the staff was amazing.
The manager here is doing a good job and I really appreciate him.
This place is in my good books because of the amazing match between the value for money and the quality of food.They have an amazing variety of dishes on the menu and the service is fast, efficient and cordial. The prices for various items are appropriate but the charges for beverages unbeatable.
The lowdown for me would be the their imperfection of the vegetarian dishes and the overwhelmed service during peak hours!
I frequent this place quite often and will continue to do so.
The service was very quick and that is what I like about this place. I ordered BBQ Chicken and it was delicious.
The atmosphere was pretty lively and the portions of the meal were very huge.

Really nice pub. Quite big. Plenty of seating inside and outside. There are two smoking sections, one on each side of the pub. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and satisfies the craving. Kids are allowed up until 9pm, so families can come and enjoy a meal with a view. It is right on the river front and offers a view of Putney Bridge and a train bridge. You csn enjoy a pint and a bite to eat while watching boats traverse the river. It is also in line with Heathrow Airport so planes are constantly flying overhead and you can play a guess the airline game. It is quiet so you can hear your party talk and you don't have to shout. The restrooms are clean and large.
One of my favourite Wetherspoons. Right on the river just below Putney Bridge. The real bonus was the amount of craft beers they had in the fridge. Absolutely brilliant selection and very reasonable prices. I shall be back for more!

Service is decent and staff isn't very talkative but they are always ready for orders and quite fast.
Their playlist is quite decent and for summer vibes it is a great place to grab a beer and some food as it is right next to the river where you can enjoy an extremely amazing view and also have a walk around.
The rocket is also located in Putney so it is really easy to get to to from either putney bridge station or Putney stations and there are a lot of food places or other bars around if you wanna do a pub crawl.
Absolutely incredible food, brilliantly affordable prices and definitely worth the money!! And right next to the river so it's absolutely beautiful!! And very very hard working staff! The place has aged like fine wine it just gets better and better THR best spoons I have been to it's brilliant!
Very comfortable and a huge amount of space for a pub in London. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the crowd is very young and well natured...unlike most other weatherspoons!
Great bar by the river Thames. Arrived Monday evening and the place is packed with students. There was a Monday madness promotion going on which was fantastic. Bought 2 pitchers of cocktails for cheaper than one. Staff were friendly and flying about cleaning. Highly recommended!!

Lovely views of the riverside, although wasn't sure if we had to order at the bar or if the waiters would come to us. Food was good, but slightly cool when it got to the table. Reasonable price and great selection of foods.
Compared to other weatherspoons this one is a bit clunky to get around. Toilets were very messy. Whilst the sun is up you are able to sit by Thames River as it has a large outside bit, which is just lovely.
My experience with the staff here was not good as the waiter slammed our drinks at the table multiple times.
The pizza was alright quite tasty and my friends enjoyed their food too!
Lovely location on Thames River Bank near Putney bridge. Table layout is excellent giving view towards the river and bridge. Food & drink choices are as in all Wetherpoon bars. The location is on the way from Wandsworth to Central London. Reachable by taxi & buses. Enjoyable place to enjoy with your boy/girl friends.
