The Elgin - London - Photo album

Wanted to experience our first pub lunch in London and The Elgin did not disappoint! Food was delicious and service was excellent. We got seated straight away (upon booking). Would highly recommend the Sunday Roast. We ordered the Pork Belly, Chicken and beef and got recommended the truffle cauliflo
Quick stop just for a drink. Very happy to find a pub with many non-alcoholic options in their menu. It is a big pub, with a dinning area indoors, nice and spacious outside area. Looks overall very nice. They even have a small area for kids to play, what I got impressed. Beautiful vitrais.
Came here with work (approx. 15 if us) Catered to our every need. Diane was a busy bee and helped massively accommodate an international pallet. Great service, great food and they also have Chocolate block which is a great wine choice!
Great place with traditional food and cozy atmosphere. We really enjoyed our fish and ships! Portions were great! Our waiter Diane was really kind and professional
A friend and myself were on holiday in London, we had walked many steps and came across The Elgin at lunch time. Friendly staff and a lovely bar to chill. Didn't eat so have given 4 stars. I expect having a bite to eat would have topped the score to 5 stars
Gorgeous pub, lovely beer too! The interior is so beautiful! Art Noveau decor and an outstanding pint of Youngs.
First time visitor at The Elgin, even though I am local to the area, decided to meet a friend there in place of our usual pub. What a gorgeous pub! Why didn't I go before! It was rather busy when we arrived, however, we were served immediately. Our intention was to move onto another pub after our fi
We booked the Elgin for our wedding welcome event drinks reception and it was absolutely perfect! Their 'Gin Palace' was a lovely space that both made everyone feel like they were at a special event for our wedding whilst still being at a local London pub. Their staff is always so kind. Would recomm
One the best pubs with amazing bartenders. The place had an amazing energy and interesting old world interiors They gave me a taste of the beer and had excellent recommendations. Food is also surprisingly good and interesting. Had the portobello mush room fries. Scotch eggs could have been softer an
We're visitors from America and prefer to patronize authentic, neighborhood establishments and the Elgin delivered. It was lively and lovely. Diana our server was sweet and made sure our visit was great. We tried our first Scotch egg! Delicious! Try the fried portobello mushrooms and mackerel pate!
Frankly, this is the place to be. We walked in on a busy Sunday..middle of service…and Dianne made us feel so welcome. This is the easiest to enjoy most classic English pub, with great screens for sport. Dianne - we love you. You are the reason we will come again. P.s. we love Emma as well!
Amazing pub! Gorgeous interior, fantastic food and great selection of all alcohol, especially gin!! A special shout out to Diane who was so fantastic and chatty, a real asset to the pub! Thank you Diane for your fabulous service!
A well finished typical pub with delicious food and always helpful staff. Thanks for making our birthday party very enjoyable!! All perfect ☺️
Went here for some drinks and food which was amazing. Really fantastic service from Diane who made us feel really welcome. Can't fault anything, will definitely be going back when we can!
Had dinner and a pint here during a recent London vacation (first time out of the US since covid!) Really spectacular pub that dates to the 19th century. Now it's a high endish type of place. Really enjoyed my steak dinner and boo loved her fish and chips. Service was great, no complaints.
We came here for the Xmas menu lunch and did feel the experience was overall positive. The staff were courteous and patient and managed the whole booking and dining well. We had a major gripe where 3 of us who had ordered the roast beef option ended up with a very tough and chewy meat that was real
Just went there for a little enjoyable afternoon on Sunday. Had the perfect Sunday roast. Also one that couldn’t go without acknowledgment, was the service. Jimmy was just fantastic. Great young man. Really knew how to engage in an intriguing conversation, whilst at the same time pour some great bre
