Nice pub , atmosphere seemed great however my visit was more based on the sip and paint class located upstairs of the of the pub. The class was fantastic, had so much fun and the two lovely teachers were so encouraging and gave great tips and techniques. I would definitely do the class again as the
Lovely locals type of traditional pub with rooms to hire on 1st floor. Very clean and food was very nice.. fish and chips.. reasonably priced beer for London and great location if your visiting the South Bank on the Thames.. 10 mins from The Shard and 15 mins to HMS Belfast if your walking.
Wonderful little pub with great beer battered fish and chips. Plenty of board games available.
Food was excellent. Try the salmon cakes, you won't be disappointed. Haddock fish and chips was very good. Half a large fillet, breaded and extra crispy. A fairly good sized menu, you should be able to find something you like. Get there early for their specials! A great local 'pub' with nice people
Finally we tried Sunday roast! They are nice, especially the pastry with the gravy, they are good match. The turkey was a bit try and tough, but the beef was very good. Roasted vegetables are yummy!! Great place to have lunch!!
Great spot! Got to taste all the lagers and the Sunday roast was delicious. Staff lovely too.
I was staying in a hotel near by and this pub was very close. The wide selection of ales and Guinness were great, and the price was a lot cheaper than the £9 a pint at our hotel. Theres a seating area out the front, and there's a selection of board games to use. There's also a food menu, but we d
Ashley is decent craic. Happy I joined, she steered me well
Great pie and mash. Food was great, service and beer good, happily go back again!
BEST ROAST TURKEY DINNER EVER! - Had the most amazing roast turkey lunch here on Sunday. The staff were all so warm and welcoming. The food was some of the best I have ever had. Every item was so flavoursome - from the meat, to the veg, the stuffing and the additional gravy. I had a pint and my wife
Lovely little boozer with great staff and tasty food. Good selection of beers. Very welcoming and friendly- particularly Ashley and the big fella! Thoroughly recommend.
A pub I frequent often, always good service. Decent amount of space and allow areas to be booked, shout out to Lauren and Zack behind the bar for being so accommodating.
It’s a cracker of a pub that has been refurbed in the last few years. Nice, sun trap outside area, good selection of drinks and lots of indoor seating. Screens are available for sport and it’s just a nice place for drinks. The quality of the food, however, has dropped off a cliff. Pictured is Ham,
Just popped in for drinks, Ashley and Thando were so lovely & recommended the Beefeater Pink Gin which was incredible. Two lovely ladies, definitely will be returning.
From Zack’s perfectly poured customer-centric pints, to Lauren’s aptly authentic opinions Lauren and Zack are an inspiration. Ask them for half an Asahi in a pint glass, and they’ll know who sent you. They are glowing.
Nice traditional pub , decent polite service Guinness ok and a good selection of other drinks. Didn't eat there but the food looked nice.
A most delightful visit on a Sunday evening after being given a reality check by the English rugby lads at Twickenham. Cheered me up no end. A lovely bright pub on bankside, near the Tate Modern and the Neo development. A great ambiance, loads of beers, cask and keg to choose from. Also , wines and
Nice traditional pub which is popular in the evenings. There’s a decent atmosphere, both the staff and customers are friendly and with the large tables it’s suitable for groups. Toilets are located upstairs and both spacious and clean, as is the rest of the place. A decent spot for a drink with frie
