Discovered Ratans tea stall a few years ago at Borough Market and purchased First flush Darjeeling.
Moved to Devon and tried alternative suppliers but wasted my money.
I order on-line from Ratan now.
Adore the Darjeeling and thoroughly recommend the Earl Grey and having visited the market a couple of weeks ago, tried the house blend, which of course was delicious.
Good to see the little market stall has expanded.
My 11 yr old son insists on only buying from Ratan, not that I need encouraging.

Love this place. A delightful gentleman with a great passion for his teas. Best Hot Masala Chai. But do not forget the fabulous selection of teas.
We bought some green tea on our first visit to Borough Market back in October and would say it is the best we have tasted, so much so that a repeat order was made via the web site, the package was delivered well wrapped and ontime, and the hand written note on the invoice from Ratan makes it all the more a personal shopping experience.

I come here once each year while I am visiting my girlfriend and family. These are the nicest and most knowledgeable tea experts on the planet! You HAVE to pay them a visit!

We had been planning our trip to London, and looking forward to the teas for at least 4 months.
And we got there 3 minutes after closing, not open the next day, and leaving for home in any event.
The amazing, wonderful, awesome lady at Tea2You re-opened the shop for us, and we spent about £125 on a wide variety of teas. We had a wonderful conversation about the various types, proper preparation and teacups, and other world-changing topics. If you're going to visit London from abroad, you must get tea, and this is THE place if you're near the Borough Market.
EDIT: Just brewed a cup of the Darjeeling first flush... WOW!
This was our first time visit to Borough Market and I have to say this is our favourite shop now! It was a delight to meet Mr Ratan Mondal and we could tell how passionate he is about his teas. Thank you so much for the masala chai, Mr Mondal. and I can’t wait to try out the different teas that we bought. 🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️

I discovered this little shop in Borough Market, London, in 2019 and I've kept ordering tea here since. Lot of taste, fair trade, they have the best and most original tea I ever had and these are affordable. And they ship to Switzerland and Europe with no excessive costs. I definitely recommand this place if you want the best teas. My favorites : Cream Earl Grey, and also the last one I discoverd : the malt tea, which is extraordinary if you like the taste of... Bourbon !
Very friendly service, very knowledgeable and great teas. I bought the Masala Chai Tea in tea bags, which tastes great exactly as they recommend how you make it. £5.99 for 25 tea bags is a bit steep, and I wish they had larger packets of loose leaf tea to save wasting so many tea bags and plastic!

Have been here a while ago and bought some teas. It’s not the cheapest tea you can buy but it is the best tea you can buy. The service was fantastic and I love to come back soon.
COME HERE INSTEAD OF BIRD & BLEND. Had a great experience after a racist one at Bird & Blend around the corner. They know their stuff here and treat everyone well, hence why they are so busy. Come here. They know their stuff.
Really friendly staff, a pleasure to visit. Great selection of teas. They sell tea bags and loose tea to take home, as well as hot drinks to take-away. If you buy a hot drink, they will give you a refill of hot water in the same cup. The business supports a school in the Himalayan foot hills.
First time in London and a tea lover; this place was the perfect find. Tried the White and Rose Bud, the Darjeeling First Flush, and Jasmine Flower Tea and the tastes were unlike any of my organic bought teas from M&S. Not just is the tea so rich, the owner Ratan is an amazing person who has an immense passion/ knowledge for the tea! He taught me so much in 15 minutes that I was in shock at how much I didn't know. Btw, his skin is AMAZING and he has like no wrinkles!! Him and I agree it's due to his great quality tea consumption. Love Tea2you; it's a must!
