Simple place but food is lovely and lovely staff! Reasonably priced and good size portions.
Saw the menu in the window and decided to give it a try. Wow! Glad we did. From appetizer to dessert, what a treat....we will be back.

Lovely place very good food and good service. I have been there twice now, the last time being on Friday 12 May 2017 with my friends David and Paul. We were at the Queensway Restaurant which is near where my friend David lives. I had the sticky ribs to start off with, and chicken, rice, with lime sauce as a main. We shared a bottle of white wine. The waiter was very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. I am looking forward to going there again
Great food nice atmosphere we were a big party so service wasn't so great as drinks took way to long to arrive but that could be because of our group/table size. Have been before and would definitely go back 😊

Small dining area - great food. Pad Thai is super the bun bo salad is a Vietnamese inspired treat. The rendang was great. Service all good and fast.

I'd personally recommend the prawn dishes between their spice/sour/sweet it's amazing. But for some reason I fail to see banana tree as a 'dine in restaurant' I see it more as a fancy Nd fun 'Take away' place?

Great cross section of south East Asian cuisine. They do a great lunch time deal that runs til 5pm (Mon-Fri) one starter and one mains for approx £10. I really enjoy the food here but sometimes it is prepared better than others times. Would recommend. I normally get the pad thai and sticky chicken wings! Yummy! Laska is also very tasty and comforting.

Lovely place for a lunch or quick dinner! Really enjoyed the special spicy aubergine dish, that the team kindly modified for me slightly. Malaysian curry with king prawn was also delicious! The team was helpful and attentive, thanks Elwin!
The food was delicious, fresh and quickly served and was with a good portion size for the price.
The cocktails really did had only low amount of alcohol content wish it will be good if it really has some good % of alcohol.
Apart from that a tiny and cute little compact place for a perfect friends get out or a work place evening get together.
The dishes were very well presented and picture perfect for instagram posts as well is an added value.
Last but not least coconut pan cake is a must try but try with any flavour of your icecream.
Shan was so friendly and he even gave us ideas to try out new dishes.

I came here skeptical because of all the bad reviews but the foods quality and taste blew it out the water .Even though there was a mistake from staff and they brought my starter after i finished my main 😂 . I didnt mind , both starter and main was delicious , seriously delicious . I went for lunch so there was a big discount . £14 for starter plus main . All in all , id go again , i am going again next week actually . Might be a little pricey but its nice . Ive been to much bigger brands and paid way more and the food is no were near as good . I left here happy and satisfied. Well worth it . 💯 recommend it . Love the foods taste and hats of to the creativity and presentation. 👏 everything is حلال . Enjoy 😊

Went back because the food was good but unfortunately the service was a let down slightly , my starters and main were brought at the same time so i had to rush through my starter so my main doesn’t get cold . Saying that the food still was great but unfortunately for me let down buy the service again . Foods great just a shame service isnt . Id still recommend because the food is good 👏
Ive returned like 5-6 times , love the place . Service and all the extra stuff aside , their food is fantastic , mocktails were very nice also 👏. Ive become a regular . Thank you
This restaurant is a must! Had the best soy noodles and vegan mango ice cream and passion fruit drink. Silvio was the most attentive and genuine server I’ve had in forever. You must add this to your list when in London!!!
I was very happy with my experience at Banana Tree and will recommend it to friends definitely. The food was tasty, arrived in good time and the amount of it was perfect. I like that it's a small friendly place and we felt well looked after. I will come back soon.

A great option! Good variety on the menu and service is 10/10! We ordered the prawn pad thai as mains and portion size was very generous and tasted very good. For starters we ordered veg spring rolls, sweetcorn fritter rolls, and fried prawns. Good for sharing (3 of us). Great presentation of the food which shows they care!! The bill came up to £89 which was a bit more than you would expect to pay but its good quality & big portions. The only reason im giving a 4 and not a 5 is there is limited seating and its fairly small so on a sunny day it can get pretty warm inside. Recommending!!!

The food was decent for most part, the green Thai curry tasted a little weird, maybe the way they prepare it is a little different. The quantities were fine, the taste was okay, but nothing to write home about. Then we didn't get one of the items for like 20 minutes so the service was a hit or miss as well. I would suggest going if you're looking for a Thai place desparately around this area but that's all.

I was served by Nishika, she was so friendly and very professional and constantly smiling. The food is the best Thai food I've ever had and I've eaten in many, however this is always 1st choice because its 1st class. Very highly recommended.

Friendly service, there are only two cocktails on the menu but they are both really good! Really yummy Thai food, always enjoy a good pad Thai. The gyozas are average but still nice, can’t complain for the price. Chilled atmosphere, would visit again.
I often order take away from here but I’ve never had the chance to dine in yet.
I can confidently say that this is my favourite take away place. The order was never incorrect or had missing items, the portions are big and fair for the price paid and everything is properly wrapped and nothing ever spilled.
I hope to be able to dine in soon and have the same high standards as for the delivery service.
Love Banana Tree! The food is so good, especially love how many tasty vegan options are available. Our server Bhautik was so nice. We will be back a lot!
Really lovely and friendly service tonight with special thanks to Shan who made us feel welcome and took care of our orders! The portions were good, food tasted authentic and served very quickly to the table. We had mocktails (the lime one) which was super refreshing and ice cold perfect for a hot evening. We wish we had space for dessert!!
Im hard to impress or please but today I was won over. Popped in for lunch menu which was great value and it didn’t disappoint in flavour. The hospitality from management was also most welcoming. Thanks to all at Banana Tree Maida Vale.
