This is next door to Liverpool Street Station and easily missed. It is part of a hotel. We were fortunate to find a table late on Saturday evening. We choose not to sit in the front area but preferred in the comfy lounge area. The only negative comment is the ridiculous loud music. We ordered desserts and cocktails. I think mine was called the Marriage and came with candy floss and was delicious and full of alcohol. The desserts were delicious too. Would definitely return, for that cocktail.

Nice restaurant, cocktails were top class and staff were lovely and beyond accommodating ! But the volume of the music meant we could not have a conversation and the waffles that we had were not made very well or very tasty. Both my kids left them uneaten and we left hoarse with sore throats from shouting across the table at each other. So four stars overall for us.

Looking around the streets of Liverpool street, london and I come across Rake's cafe. Looking from the outside this place looks small, cozy and classy... looks can be devising🤣 Rake's Cafe is one very big place, it has different entrances into the place itself, each one leading to a different part of the restaurant/ pub/ cafe. The decor and interior is sooo beautiful and classy. I sat in the cafe part, I ordered a non alcoholic cocktail, which was really lush and refreshing. I asked the waitress for a recommendation between two dishes I fancied. I'm glad I went with her choice, grilled chicken stewers on a bed of cous cous. It was gorgeous. I really enjoyed this dining experience, I love to find somewhere different when going into London, I like to get the full London experience. Different restaurants, different foods.

Went there for breakfast as it’s conveniently located right outside Liverpool Street Station. It’s one of the few non-franchised places around the busy station so it was great to sit inside and have some proper food. It’s great if you find yourself in the area and want to sit somewhere close to the station.

The service was excellent. Staff were welcoming and friendly from the moment I walked in. The menu is very clear and offers many options for vegetarians Good quality food and drinks. Fantastic interior decor with a great atmosphere. Excellent location - Hidden gem near Liverpool Street Station. Great place for after work drinks - It's not too loud or overly crowded I highly recommend this place.

Has a late lunch here today with my mom. I had the pasta with oxtail ragu and elderflower lemonade. My mom had lamb pita with French fries with a peach ice tea. The food was fresh and hot and my mom really loved hers. Mine was very good but the beef was a little too much grissel. Service was professional

We really enjoyed coming here for breakfast. Great food with veggie and vegan options and really nice surroundings. A must stop if you are at Liverpool Street station and want something classier than what's on offer inside the station. A quiet space to sit and gather your thoughts before your travels while enjoying a drink or some food

My wife booked brunch here last Friday. I had a bit of a heavy night the day before. Firstly the venue is beautiful. Its a place where you can entertain. Sam and his team ensured we had a great experience. The food was excellent, brilliant veggie brunch and breakfast options, the right portion sizes too. The drinks were perfect too. I will definitely be going back, the venue is beautiful, food delicious and service professional all at excellent value for money.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Rake's Cafe & Bar. Conveniently located by Liverpool Street station, I found the staff welcoming and friendly, the cocktails delicious and the setting sexy, comfortable and atmospheric. I was highly impressed by the signature cocktails and I'd recommend the 'The Marriage' which was sweet and easy to see why it's a favourite among staff when I asked for a recommendation. For something a little stiff, I'd also recommend the whisky-based cocktail 'The Gaming House. Rake's Cafe & Bar is perfect for after-work tipples with friends and colleagues. I would definitely come back here again.

Rake's Café Bar is located right next door to Liverpool Street station, and is part of a hotel, making this place an extremely convenient stop off point if you're after some quality Halal food. And with a private room (called No.3) this would also be an ideal place for a business meeting, or if you're seeking after some privacy. In any case, the place to dine in for us was The Parlour lounge given both its relaxed atmosphere and the alcohol bar being fairly low key in comparison to its larger counter part next door. The food here varied mostly in between the good and the very good. The buttermilk chicken burger was probably the best dish had on the evening. And don't forget their mocktails - outstandingly good! Stick with our menu recommendation below and don't forget to subsribe to our Youtube account before checking out our video review above. Menu Recommendation Drink - The Amuse Goose Starter - Sesame Cauliflower Wings Main - Buttermilk Chicken Burger Dessert - Chocolate Cake HALAL STATUS: Halal lamb & chicken • Alcohol served 2018 review

Gorgeous decorations and ambiance, really elegant and pristine. The guacamole and hummus were delicious although the portions are a bit small. Nice chips and good latte. It is mostly a place for drinks and they have awesome cocktails. The reason for 4 stars is that the service was extremely slow, we had to call for it twice after 20 min of waiting and they forgot our order.
