Sublime! A real local Italian vibe in the heart of London. Food 10/10, service 10/10. Thank you very much, will be back!

We were in Covent Garden for a special occasion and this restaurant was the ideal place for our evening meal. Love how you go in the side entrance via the alleyway. The place is "cosy" and there isn't much room to manoeuvre but you're sat down eating so that doesn't really matter. The service and food are great and we were never waiting long. Love the character of the place with it's pictures of "famous" guests adorning the walls and also listening to the owner tell you his stories. Not cheap but worth it for a treat.

Pino and Clare were born to share! Thank you to the owners of this amazing Italian restaurant for making our first foray back to London (and, for my mum, it was 15 years!) an amazing experience. We were warmly welcomed like family and fed like we had our very own Italian mama and papa taking care of us! The lasagne was to die for and the Cannolis were to kill for! Truly and utterly divine. The food, the service and the atmosphere were second to none. We are returning to London at the end of July and will definitely be returning to Giovanni’s! Thank you for being the icing on the cake of an especially precious visit for us!❤️

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in London! I came here with my mom for a girls night and I had one of the best meals of my life. Only one other meal has ever stood out to me like this one has. The starters were amazing! We had the garlic, which I never thought u could just eat straight garlic but it’s tasted so good it wasn’t bitter like I thought it would be. We also got the orange salad which my mom picked and I loved it, and I usually don’t like fruit on salad. For our mains my mom go the ravioli which were amazing and I got the swordfish. I have never had a swordfish or any fish taste like this, it is a must try because it was the best I have ever had! And you have to get the swordfish with the zucchini frittes on the side And for desert we finished it off with a cheese board and the gelato umbriaco, which were both amazing! Not only was the food amazing but so was the atmosphere, very cozy and intimate! And the staff was amazing! The owner really made us feel valued as customers and made the experience very personal! I will be taking all my friends and family to this restaurant!

Just reminiscing about our favorite restaurants in the world. What makes this top the list is the food , the atmosphere, the service and above all else Pino and the care he takes with his customers. Looking forward to our next visit. Bernadette and Cody Ciao

One of my favourite restaurants in London. The entrance is hidden behind a little street which makes the whole experience really magical. We didn't have a booking (please book) but knocked at the door to try our luck, a waiter opened the door and said "one moment", then Pino, the legendary owner came and ask if we had a booking, we said sorry we didn't and he said "one moment". Then he came back and kindly found us a table, thanking us for being so polite. The whole experience was as surreal and special as the space. The food is authentic and delicious, we had the soup, the whitebait and then the pasta all ragu and chilli pasta. Everyone around our table started speaking together. It's cosy, friendly, unique. In other word perfect.

What a find - completely by accident. Four of us turned up and asked for a table - they found us one and from that moment on the service was exemplary. The food is absolutely authentic Sicilian - portions are not huge, but extremely tasty.

Had lunch for my brother’s birthday and the food was nothing less than outstanding. From my first bite I couldn’t stop smiling. The owner was incredible to talk to and made us very at home. Hearing his stories truly made it an incredible lunch. The atmosphere was fantastic, a very intimate experienced hidden away in the heart of Covent Garden. Will definitely be returning soon.

What a find! Great authentic italian food, small quaint personalised service making for a very welcoming and relaxed setting. Perfect for a pre evening show and prices were very acceptable for central London. Will definitely be returning!

This restaurant was INCREDIBLE! We ordered an appetizer and two entrees and ended up ordering a third entree because we were so impressed. It was better than the Gordon Ramsay restaurant we had earlier in the week. The owner and our waiter were both SO lovely. We can’t wait to come back to London, this will be our first stop!

Everything in town was closed and this was one of the only places still open but was closing soon. We walked in , they still happily seated us , and treated us with amazing service and food ! We got the carbonara and the spinach ravioli ! The food was delicious and was so fresh !!!!!!! Do not forget to try the tiramisu !!! It was fantastic !!! Loved the small family environment. We wish we lived closer to this place !! We highly recommend this place
