We went here for Christmas dinner as a party of 12 and was absolutely wonderful!! Food was delicious, perfect service and a great buzz about the place. In fact it was so good we are going back for New Years Dinner!! Thanks to all the staff for making it a memorable Christmas Day

We had a great time at a birthday party, with quiet space in the room on the side, which the guests appreciated as we did not have to shout to each other to have a conversation. I have had food here several times before and my favourites are baked Camembert and Tuesday mussles. My favourite pub in the area, love the local vibe.

Love this pub. Dog friendly, super staff. The food is unreal, we are slowly making our way through the whole menu. Really look forward to our weekly sunday lunch.

My partner and I had a pleasant experience at this charming pub located on a smart street in East London. The staff truly stood out with their friendly and accommodating nature. Every member of the team was not only nice but also genuinely pleasant to interact with. Despite arriving before the official opening time, they were willing to give us a seat and made us feel welcome. The kitchen was still closed for service but the staff went above and beyond by arranging for the chef to rustle up a meal for us. It was a remarkable display of exceptional customer service. Furthermore, I was thoroughly impressed by the pub's elegant decor. The interior was tastefully designed, a perfect combination of style and comfort, making it a delightful space to relax . I will undoubtedly be returning to this establishment.

Really gorgeous and cozy atmosphere inside, a lovely hidden gem in Mile End (unless you are local to the area). Huge portions for the roast and very delicious cauliflower cheese. We personally preferred the roast pork belly over the rump beef since it was a lot more special and different from roasts offered at other similar pubs.

Few food item were finished so we had to change what we wanted. Staff didn't mentioned when they seated us on our reserved table. Nice looking pub with atmosphere. But wouldn't go back for the food. The steak was almost cold so it became very chewy. Asked for the gravy to be delivered separately but was not possible.

A superb and elegant pub in Mile End. The staff and specially the maneger Ivan were incredibly kind, extremely welcoming and friendly, but the most important the food was delicious. Good selections of beers and spirits (gin tonic -thumbs up). We very much enjoyed and I know we'll come back for more!

Had my birthday in the pub last night. We got Terry and Dave’s corner round to the side. Really cost and intimate. Perfect for a small group. The staff were really attentive. Food was excellent. The Mac and cheese in particular is one of the best I’ve ever had. Cannot recommend this place enough

Lovely spot for a cosy drink and bite to eat with a flexibility for accepting bookings. Food was nice, would have liked a few more potatoes with my roast… and staff didn’t really take our order as expected i.e. in one go? We ordered sides with our mains and then 30 minutes later we were told they didn’t have the sides we’d ordered.. we were asked if we’d like chips instead which we agreed to. However these never arrived (we were there for an hour after this). It was then disappointing to see the missing items appear on our bill however this was quickly sorted once we raised the point. If you can get a table it is a nice place to watch the rugby or for a Sunday roast if you’re in the area.

Haven’t been here since it became a Youngs pub. They’ve done a very good job with the place. Spacious and light while still maintaining its charm. We had the Sunday roast and we were very impressed. We had the pork belly, the crackling was spot on. Veg was fresh and cooked perfectly. The gravy was full of flavour and a good consistency. Cannot fault it at all. Pretty good price for London too.

Absolutely love coming to The Coborn. We live in Singapore but head to London each year and without fail book in for Sunday Lunch here. Everything about the place is fabulous from the staff to the atmosphere to the food. It was so good this time, we came back on Monday for lunch and I can highly recommend the doorstop sandwiches. Looking forward to our next visit in June 2024 already!

A very good pub for Sunday roast. Probably the best staff experience I've had in a long time. Incredibly friendly, attentive, respectful. Couldn't praise the team more. The roast was hit & miss. The veg is really where this roast shines. The cauliflower cheese is some of the best we've ever had, and the buttered cabbage and carrots were divine. I felt my beef was rather tough & dry, but it was made up for with a large Yorkshire & lashings of gravy. The sticky toffee pudding was certainly not a disappointment, while the hazelnut pudding & ice cream was ok. Reasonably priced menu, good wine selection, good staff. Would recommend, if a bit out the way.
