The Barn is our local and we've seen it change over the years. It is now the best it's ever been and I can honestly say their Sunday roast is to die for, the staff are lovely and the atmosphere is always great!

Always vibrant just before a match. Staff are on the ball making sure we're not queuing up too long for a drink and the Manager is very accessible.

Looking for a spot for a fast lunch we found this pub. Really comfortable and cosy. Staff is very cool and friendly and is really nice. We ordered food and it came out quite delicious and light. Vegetables where good and well cooked as well as the pie. Also the presentation was nice. Great selection of draft beers. Nice place where to stop!

We visited before and during an Arsenal match. The atmosphere before the match was great. The pace was packed with Arsenal fans having a drink pre game. When it was time for the game it was pretty quiet and they weren't even showing the Arsenal match but I think it was not being televised in the uk which sounds stupid but that's uk/premier league broadcasting. This was pretty disappointing. Otherwise, the selection of drinks is good even though they didn't have some of the beers. The food was great, it was a Sunday so we had to have the Sunday roast which both the beef and the pork were really good with really big portions. The dessert was mouthwatering too. Would visit again even if it was just for the pub food.

The roast here is good and the beef is rare which is delicious and hard to find! My husband had the pork which was tender and fullnof flavour. The service is friendly but they were short staffed which meant that the staff there were running around. We will go back as had a pleasant afternoon. But don't go if don't just want to chill on a lazy Sunday afternoon

First time l visited, l didn't eat there, just a drink. The staff l met were very friendly, polite & generally nice. I took a friend who also commented on their friendly nature. I hope to visit again. Good selection of drinks & a large screen to watch games. Spacious, clean. Does attract a crowd when local team plays! Else, enjoy.

A fine pub. The Highbury Barn Tavern offers a good selection of beers, just one from the cask today though. The place is light and airy with plenty of seating both inside and out. Delightful service and cold beer, perfect.

Lovely little pub. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Good food with extensive wine, beer, ale, and spirits list. The haddock was perfect. I would have liked the chips cooked at a higher temperature as they seemed greasy to me. My daughter had the sandwich of the day, crispy chicken. Well done.

I’ve been in London for a week and have been eating all over the place and this has been the best meal I’ve had!!!! The steak and ale pie was THE BEST MEAL I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!!! And the sticky toffee pudding was to die for. This is a must go to spot when you are in the area. I am so sad to leave tomorrow because I could eat here everyday!

Super solid Sunday roast. Great starters and great roast. Fried squid was excellent and the croquetas were nice, just a couple more would have been great. The roast was tasty. There's a kids roast menu as well. Drinks menu can accommodate any budget with wines from £20+ onwards.

Lovely local pub with brilliant mulled wine. Gets very busy on weekends especially with the World Cup, so definitely book a head. Would highly recommend the desserts - the Nutella gnocchi and the sticky date pudding were delicious! @hi.there.im.katie on TikTok for video reviews

I pleasure of visiting your tavern many times, and I wanted to share my feedback and overall experience. First and foremost, I would like to express my appreciation for the warm and inviting atmosphere that your tavern provides. The rustic decor and cozy ambiance created a comfortable setting for patrons to unwind and enjoy their time. It truly felt like a home away from home. I was particularly impressed with the quality of service I received during my visit. Your staff members were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and drink selections (Thanks Roberto for warm welcome:). They provided excellent recommendations and made sure that my dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Please extend my gratitude to your team for their outstanding service.

Very friendly staff. Dog friendly. I would recommend for families and casual drinks in the area. On football days if you want that experience then a good pub for viewing the game but if football is not your bag maybe avoid for a couple of hours. Overall a community pub with a heart that will welcome you as a solo guest or a family, I have been a customer for years so I think this is a good reflection of what it is like. My favourite staff members currently are Roberto, Santana, Mae as they are are so friendly and accommodating. Generally the staff are great even when they change. All in all a good London pub for food and drinks

Always good, always the place to go for a bit of comfort food on a Sunday afternoon with the wife. Awesome staff; awesome food. Cheers to the Wellington! The toilet seats could do with being fastened down and replaced, and locking the stall door when using the toilet wouldn't be so bad either... It's a death defying act in there! Other than that, top spot!

I've been planning to visit this pub for some time now and have only just got around to it. It's bright and airy inside with a couple of big screens and a range of seating. There's around a dozen tables outside. There's a full and varied menus ranging from breakfast and brunch staples to salads, burgers a d sharing platters. It was nice to see a really good wine list along with plenty of beers both batch, local and international along with a lengthy spirits list. Had the pleasure of the tennis on one screen and the football on another. Looking forward to my next visit #thehappyepicurean
