Had a meal before going to the theatre last night. We booked a table the food was lovely my husband and I had pie - steak and ale and chicken and mushroom, the staff lovely and polite went out of their way to bring extra gravy and brought drinks to our table as we were eating. Always visit this pub when in London. See you on our next visit

The best steak sandwich I've ever had. Staff were friendly and helpful. Prices were responsible considering it was central London

Absolutely fabulous... Fancied a lovely meal before a matinee theatre performance... and we certainly got that here. Spacious and bright inside.. Attentive, polite and friendly staff. Great service and Great food. Unfortunately, a number of the main meals contained onion, inc. BBQ Chicken, Steak & Ale Pie and even the meat within the Cheese & Bacon Burger... However the staff were ever so accommodating; and amended my meal for me. (Thank you.) We ordered the Katsu Chicken Burger and 'Buttermilk Chicken replacement' in the Cheese & Bacon Burger.. Both meals for great.. the chips amazing. Totally recommend this place and we will certainly return when in the area.

Went for a few drinks after work with some work friends! Had Vodka Soda and was reasonably priced! Love the lights at the bar and the whole vibe it gives ☺️ A great place to have a drink or two with some mates 🙌🏻

Loved it. Alot of locals come here. Beer is cold, conversation loud, can't think of a better way a pub should be. Walking distance from local hotels, tube, and covent garden.

Popped in for a drink before a show. Great atmosphere and really busy. Didn't see a list of drinks prices but ordered a ginger beer (non alcoholic) and large glass of red. Cost us £16 !!! Just take care what you order, drinks wise.

Walking through Covent Garden, I came across one of these traditional pubs, I didn't think twice we went in and it was simply amazing the experience, great food cold beer and the super friendly staff , even chef Hellen came to the table and recommended the best meat on the menu . Everything was really nice. We'll definitely come back.

Stopped here for a mid-afternoon bite to eat while my wife was shopping. Very pleasant pub with friendly and helpful staff. Spoiled myself with a chip buttie which I haven’t had for years and it was delicious washed down with a hot cup of tea. Taking my wife next time!

Food was tasty and quick! The place is very clean and has good music. They only need to have more variety of beers and to give more than one napkin per person.

Typical English pub that doesn’t disappoint! Food (in my case Fish & chips) was what you’d expect and did the job in a positive way! The bar service was efficient and friendly. It wasn’t too crowded. A very nice experience all in all!

Excellent meal, but we had to wait a considerable time for service due to a large party ordering all at once. The meal when it came was utterly delicious, and the staff were delightful.

Nice place but gets very loud due to the low ceiling. Had scampi and chips very nice good size portion. All staff need to be trained on how to take the Great British Pub Card as every time you go to pay they say that they don't take them or have to get someone who knows what they are doing

Lovely Greene King pub with really friendly staff good choice of beer and it was nice because it wasn't that busy at the time so I actually got a seat!!! Prices were as to be expected as it is very close to covent garden (£6.50 for a pint of Camden IPA) but it is definitely my kind of place with that traditional look.

Probably the noisiest pub I’ve ever been in - it was buzzing, a great atmosphere. Simple pub grub, London prices, though there were some deals available. Staff could learn to smile a little more, not overly friendly, performed their role and that was about it.

Very disappointing Fish and Chips. Chef could have a been having a bad day but batter was over cooked and it appeared the oil was old (due to the colour of batter) fish was wayyyyyy over cooked and discoloured. Management took responsibility and did refund but didn’t have time for food at this point.
