A sensational Sunday lunch. It isn’t cheap but I think 3 courses with table service for a little under £30 is good value these days if the quality is good, and it was. We were in the yard, the atmosphere is relaxed, if a little chilly. Staff were lovely. Only criticism was they were out of Timothy T
A great refined drinking experience. A well presented pub with a lot of effort gone in to making the floor look good! It does, and having done it myself, I know how much work went into it. Lovely cheerful service, thank you for my beer! The is an upstairs area booked out for a wedding today. Also a
Very Dog friendly, lovely evening meal with a relaxed atmosphere, with has relaxing jazz music playing in the background. Food was delicious and carefully cooked. The menu is limited, however what they have they do very well. Staff were friendly and attentive, even with the dogs! Will visit again an
Such a lovely pub, the roast beef was amazing and the sticky toffee pudding was scrumptious! Would 100% recommend, staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was lovely
I walked in on a Sunday afternoon to have a Sunday roast, they were fully booked for the pub area, so I asked if they would have any space at the yard, the waitress told me I was more than welcome to try, and actually when I walked to the yard I much preferred that atmosphere! It was cozy, cute, not
I booked a table for my birthday, for 5, the garden was too hot so we were given a table in the air conditioned dining room, an absolute godsend on a very hot Sunday. The food was superb. 2 courses ordered each, a mix of starters and desserts and all were outstanding. We all had the roast and it’s o
We enjoyed our visit, even though the roast beef was a little disappointing.
Really cool pub! Not a chain either so it's even better to support and shop local. Huge outdoor yard space but a little cold in this weather. Great menu but a little pricey. Service was attentive but a little clumsy. Great place to spend an afternoon on the weekend.
Went to this lovely dining pub for Sunday Roast. They have a set 2-3 course menu on a Sunday. The starters were really nice but I didn’t taste the main as I am vegetarian. They do have a vegetarian nut roast on the menu though. It is a little bit pricey for what it is, but I would highly recommend b
Great pub with a lovely selection and great food. Great service as well. I would highly recommend the fish and chips, as they are battered in corn instead of flour and are simply delectable. Great restaurant!
Called in by chance after walking through the food market. Advise that you book really (most tables were already booked up ) but we struck lucky (only 2 ppl) . Sunday lunch to die for in a very relaxed setting -with nice beer to wash it all down . One of those rare finds when your not from round her
Ribeye was very sinewy... Onglet very tasty. All and all a very pleasant experience, but for the 30+ pound price, I would have expected a far better slice of ribeye. Service not bad...
