Lovely location for the start of my daughter's hen do celebrations. Right from the initial contact via email to the final cups of tea the service here was wonderful. The choice of teas was great; lovely sandwiches, cakes and scones. Our waitress kept our glasses, cups and tea pots topped up nicely.
The dressing up added a fun element to the tea - we all enjoyed ourselves dresses each other up in the various bits and pieces.
I'd highly recommend this place for a cream tea, the added extra bits certainly make it special.
We came here today as a group to celebrate for a friend who is expecting and it certainly did not disappoint! The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our requirements, the food was lovely and the dress up accessories added a fantastic touch. Top notch and I would highly recommend it, especially for groups and special occasions. We had an amazing time, thank you so much xxxxxx
I booked this for a family afternoon tea for my hen do. We had the 'Betty Blythe Elegant Afternoon Tea' - and paid for corkage.
We were sat upstairs so it was lovely and bright. The food was lovely and came out in order so nothing got too dry whilst we was talking! And we could even take leftovers home!
The service was great. They kept the glasses topped up constantly and would refresh the teas and milks when needed. The staff were inviting and gave a nice introduction. A great feature was some vintage accessories that we all tried on and took photo's with.

The tea was presented well as well as the interior.

Dress up in your favourite vintage frock and get down to Betty Blythe. Betty Blythe vintage tea rooms is the go to place for some tea and cakes. Located by Hammersmith and Olympia area admire the 1920’s vintage style interior and pretty bone China tea-ware but it’s the actual tea and cakes that’s worthy to spend all afternoon there. Moderately priced, a pot of fragrant tea costs only £2.50 and there’s plenty of selections to choose from.

Moderately priced, a pot of fragrant tea costs only £2.50 and there’s plenty of selections to choose from. Each time I head there I choose something that goes with my mood. Cakes varies on each visit, displayed proudly on crystal glass cake stands. I do adore their super moist red velvet cakes, and caramel surprise Portuguese custard tarts.
I bet you've never heard of a dress up brunch - Betty Blythe is an unashamedly feminine set of tea rooms with 1920's dress up boxes set in the quiet of suburban Olympia.
We're here today for Brunch - and we have the place to ourselves. All the better for getting stuck into the delights of the treasure chests. There are hats, necklaces, gloves, wraps, shawls, all crying out to be draped all over you and engaged in much silliness. Dressing up does occupy most of our attention to begin but once we've finally stopped playing, we turn our attention to breakfast. We're here for a continental brunch and we start off with Tea (Bollywood Chai for me and a more sedate English breakfast for Sister) and Pastries - Choc croissants for both!
Next up, granola with yoghurt, honey & berries. Nothing makes you feel more virtuous than granola for breakfast.
We should have definitely paid a lot more attention to the menu, but the description of our brunch happened while we were distracted by hats, so we were entirely unprepared for still more food - this time in the form of the most delicious breads. Walnut & what I think might be sourdough with butter and jam to finish off.
We were offered fruit to finish but there's no way we could fit anything else in. A very healthy and delicious start to the day - with the added fun of dressing up!
I will definitely be back - they offer to arrange afternoon tea for groups and really, that is just crying out to get a few girlfriends together and play vintage dress up again very soon.
My friends and I went here for a hen do vintage afternoon tea experience. Most of us arrived late because of the train strikes that day but they accommodated all of us and extended our stay to make sure we enjoy ourselves. They arranged the table even to the tiniest details to make it look like we're in the 20's. The downstairs area has a lot of vintage clothes and accessories for us to try on, it really made our experience worthwhile trying out the clothing. The staff are really attentive to our needs, their sponge cake tastes gorgeous too. Highly recommend this vintage afternoon tea place.
Lovely cozy vintage cafe, really enjoyed my coffee and cake taster :) the lady behind the counter was very sweet
I highly recommend this experience at the Betty Blythe Afternoon Vintage Tearoom. I had such a fantastic time with my friend, endless laughs dressing up in 1920s hats, gloves and accessories while drinking bottomless earl grey and eating sandwiches with scones and chocolate brownies.... can't wait to go back again. thank you for such a wonderful experience x
I can't rave enough about my vintage tea experience here. The food was so delicious and quite filling, the accessories were lovely to dress up in and the service was exceptional. I took a friend who was visiting from the US and I'll definitely go back when entertaining guests again. Such a lovely afternoon.
Had such a wonderful time and the food and cakes were absolutely delightful. Would 100% recommend
A great vintage styled cafe for those who love good coffee and good atmosphere. Lovely staff, too. They also serve #matchalatte

The staff were friendly and filled up to the rim my coffee cup without asking extra charge. My son was also happy with his babycino. Will definitely come again.
I am happy to have a coffee shop with such a nice decoration and delicious coffee near to my house.

Hi Missy and team,
I just wanted to message to say thank you so so so so much! We had the absolute best time with you, it was all perfect, great food, amazing service and the little room downstairs all set up was brilliant. The Bride absolutely adored it, we all dressed up and would 100% come back again when we are in London next.
Thank you for all your efforts, you all deserve the world, you have such a beautiful shop!
Thank you,

My girlfriend took me here for a surprise afternoon tea. I didn't realize she had booked like the full experience which was absolutely devine! Down stairs they have a private room there with all the dress up to play the part for a real tea party. 1920's theme all around! We drank tea like royal, ate sandwiches and later sweet cake treats. They even put two rainbow cupcakes on our sweets tray! Lovely service as well - very friendly. A great idea for a surprise date, girls day out or birthday party :)
