I used to live on Streatham Hill but haven’t been that way for a while, so we headed over on a Saturday morning to go to Nineteen for breakfast. I was craving one of their lovely fry-ups with thick, meaty sausages and bright orange runny eggs – the surprise on arriving was that it is currently a building site. I don’t know if it’s coming back or been bought by someone else, but will keep an eye out as it was great.

Great coffee with red brick beans, amazing warm fresh proper cinnamon rolls, I can't wait to come back for more of the food items, they looked amazing

Such gorgeous high quality food, you feel like you have stepped into a little Spanish restaurant! Absolutely love the variety and colours of the food they have, all done to such a high standard and they know a huge amount about where everything has come from. Recommend there lunch dishes and most of the cheeses!

Really good iced coffee which was surprisingly quite strong! The cinnamon bun was unusual but really tasty and not very sweet so was right up my street. Would go back to try the brunch. Tables and chairs were a bit wobbly so you had to balance your eating experience a bit - but good all round!

A lovely deli and cafe — they have an excellent range of produce to take away, including lots of lovely cakes and pastries, really good fresh produce and different wines. Their menu of sandwiches is delicious and made with top quality ingredients, as is their coffee. When I went around Christmas to find a present the thing I was after was temporarily out of stock, but they kindly delivered it to me once it was in stock again. Highly recommend.

Lovely place on the high road and exactly what this area needs more of! Great coffee and food options - if a little expensive. But hey, a treat once or twice a week, why not choose here?

A lovely cafe on the Main Street with a wide selection of cheese and breads to takeaway. We enjoyed their drink selection and were delighted with the very cheesy toastie. A local must!

Best coffee on the high road! Their breakfast is amazing too (can be a little on the indulgent side but worth it) would deffo recommend if you are in the area and craving. Caffeine fix

My first time here. Really cosy rustic little cafe on the high road. They have a great menu and selection of breakfast and brunchy food. I had the baked egg and aubergine which was DELICIOUS. Everything was perfect.

Been a loyal customer of Brooks and Gao since 2018, it is the best food and produce you can buy in Streatham without a shadow of doubt. If you haven't tried them and you're a foodie, get there asap, it opens Wed-Sun 10-2:30

Best cafe on the high street by far. The industrial Brooklyn-loft interior combined with flea-market silverware and little exotic additions to your standard brunch fair (the baked egg comes sprinkled with zataar, and a blob of labneh) makes this place feel (and taste) like a hipster's wet dream. The coffee is worth every penny. I wouldn't change it in any way.
