Chef Vishnu delighted our palates with so many wonderful flavours from India! the decor, the service, the ambiance all were spot on. We hope to be back soon!!
Popped in on a week day. It was around 6pm, very quiet and very few customers. Everything looked very clean and well presented. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. Food was nice, we had the thali, my only complaint is the bread things that came with it didn't taste or feel fresh and were a bit hard and dry. I got a peshwari naan to go with it and it is the best naan I have ever had. I think it is a little overpriced but I guess that comes down to location. Overall a nice experience. Toilets were nice enough and clean although not sure how the women will get on with two cubicles on busy nights??
As a native of Rajasthan, I can confidently say that my experience at Chokhi Dhani was both nostalgic and delightful, having grown up savoring the rich flavors of Rajasthan.
We ordered Maharaja Thali (non-veg) and Maharani Thali (veg), and I must say, it was a culinary journey worth remembering. The thalis were generously adorned with an array of dishes, showcasing the essence of Rajasthani gastronomy.
Some standout dishes included the flavorful dal, the perfectly baked baati, the delectable choorma, the hearty gatte, and the soul-warming kadhi pakoda. The highlight for me, however, was the tantalizing laal maas, a dish that truly captured the essence of Rajasthan's spice palette.
While the overall experience was exceptional, I was slightly disappointed with the Ker Sangri, a dish which is my favourite which was no where close to how my grandma used to make. Hence, the four-star rating.
Yet, the restaurant's ambiance, attentive service, and most importantly, the majority of the dishes, left a lasting impression and I wholeheartedly recommend the Maharaja and Maharani Thalis at Chokhi Dhani to anyone eager to explore authentic Rajasthani cuisine. I am already planning my return, this time with more friends and family!!
My last night dinner at Chokhi Dhani was just a wonderful experience.
The downside of dining frequently at great restaurants is that one becomes a bit too critical and judges each restaurant with too many parameters. But with all my parameters, I couldn't judge and give any negative parameters to Chokhi Dhani London. They were perfect.
Let's start with the ambience. It's beautiful. Serene, very Indian and not overwhelming. The entire decor is understated but beautiful and definitely not on your face Indian.
Entire staff was extremely courteous, well trained and polite. Not to forget very observant. We never even had to call out for them once. They were always there whenever we needed them without hovering over.
Last but not the least, the food. In my so many years in London and so many Indian restaurants, this one place I found who has not compromised on the taste and retained the authenticity. They do have the popular Indian dishes on their menu under a-la-carte to cater to the non Indian crowd. But they have the thhali section which is authentic Rajasthani cuisine. It was a refreshing experience to dine in an Indian restaurant without "Balti", "Pathia" or "Korai" served on the menu. By the way, those are not part of any Indian cuisine and can be termed as British Indian cuisine like Indian Chinese. We ordered the maharaja thhali for each. It is sumptuous. No wonder I couldn't finish it fully and it was the first time in my life that I was so full but regretted every morsel left behind in the plate. I honestly prayed for a bigger appetite looking at the thhali. My favourites in the thhali were the dal bati churma, ker sangri, kadi, the laal maas and the pickles. I was so full to order a dessert. But my husband ordered malpua and rabdi and it was great too. I tasted a spoonful from his plate.
I could go on and on about the food. But it is something to experience. So highly recommended. I am definitely coming back.
P.S. - They have a selection of beautiful merchandise at a very reasonable price. We purchased a beautiful minakari ashtray.
Visited Chokhi Dhani with my partner to celebrate his birthday and the food was absolutely first class and the service was so incredibly friendly. We had such a lovely time chatting to the staff and getting fantastic recommendations from them - they even sent out a little birthday treat which really made all the difference on top of an already amazing night!
The food, the cocktails, the decor, the options - we will definitely be back again๐๐ผ

Bumped into this one on our way to Battersea Power Station. We made a reservation and were seated on time
The place gives you an authentic Indian experience. The ambience is traditional and I so love it โค๏ธ.
Rajeev (General Manager) was an incredible host. The service was super quick.
We ordered the vegetarian Maharaja thali and they did not disappoint!
It was an authentic Rajasthani thali. Super delicious ๐๐๐๐
Everything from pickle to main dishes was incredibly delicious.
It just took us back to Jaipur Chokhi Dhani in India.
Would highly recommend this one.
It's a gem!
Tried their vegetarian maharani thali and daal halwa. The halwa was definitely not made of daal. Not close to it. But the thali was good. Only problem was the size of rotis. After a few bites, rice and rotis finished, but we still had to finish the remaining sabzi(s). Which we eventually did by eating them with papad. They need to reduce papads and increase the size of rotis or the number of it.
Oh my God! It is an unexpected place for us. We really felt like we were in India. The tea, thali, sweets. Uhhh. They also gave me a surprise, cute little birthday cake bite. Everyone should go. Staff is also very humble and kind and understanding. Place is also very clean and hygiene.
The best Rajasthani Thali. Amazing restaurant. Such a posh environment. We were taken care by velfria. We are sorry if we have taken the name wrong. Amazing hospitality#beautiful vibes# definitely worth a visit
Eat like a King ๐ This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious food, beautiful presentation, wide cocktails and wine list and wonderful dessert. I recommend to everyone!
It was quiet a different experience. The food isn't exceptional but not bad as well. It's decent food.
To begin with we ordered Papads comes with chutneys
Then in starter we ordered :
1. Tohfa-E-Zameen : 4/5
This was different and tasty but too oily.
Coming to mains :
1. Maharani Thali - 4.5/5
Pretty much covers the whole menu in this Thali, it was nice batti could have been better but apart from that all good.
2. Palak Panner - 4/5
It was nice flavour some curry.
Dessert :
1. Malpua With Rabri - 2/5
The main idea of malpua is it need to be hot and crispy on the corners but we were served a piping cold malpua. Rabri with it was not hot either.
Overall : a decent and different experience
