I loved this place!! I had penne giardiniera, if I have to describe it in one word, Scrumptious! Made my get together with friends so so memorable! Love this place would comeback for sure!!
A fairly pleasant restaurant on the upper level of St Pancras. Spacious and bright, it's prepared to welcome a lot of guests. I went there with a large group of colleagues after a busy training day and had their evening menu: calamari with lemon mayonnaise and penne with courgette, fried spinach balls and cheese. The calamari were OK, went well with the slightly sour mayonnaise, nothing extraordinary, though. I also cannot complain about the penne - especially the crunchy spinach balls. However, its taste was rather flat and pasta seemed slightly overdone. The cheese used to sprinkle the dish was rather bland and did not add much to the dish. The people I dined with were rather happy with their dishes, some served in a interesting fashion (like bruschettas that looked like a decapitated angel). All in all, I suppose you might end up eating way worse for 15 pounds. However, you might as well have something much better and less predictable.
Standard italian fare in a decent setting. My favourites are the bruschetta and in the pasta section, lobster spaghetti. Pretty unique as most places do seafood or crab, this is an excellent dish that you have to try at least once.
Loved the food there, and all the staff are really friendly. Accommodating to all dietary needs.
The only thing, I would say is that there could of been more ravioli on the plate.
If ever carluccios may need a testimonial I'd readily stand up and confess my love in public for this man and the chain. Such outstanding food. UFFFFFF! everything... everything is awesome. OH my freaking god... its the best.
Mushroom soup is perfect! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The food was delicious but staff need a little more training.
The cutlery was not replaced after our starters meaning our mains were getting cold while we found a member of staff.
Waitress seemed confused by a Scottish note so we had to replace this with an English note.
Otherwise we really enjoyed it.
Always a fine location to have a meal before taking a train home. It's never overwhelmingly busy and service is always fast and professional.
Food is good quality, tasty with fine size portions too.
Might be a bit chillly to sit in the outside area in the winter but definitley recommended!
We arrived to Carluccios at 2 o’clock. We were seated straight away. The waitress was really nice and friendly.we have ordered starters, main course ,drinks. after our drinks were delivered we received our starters. Food was presenting really nice on the plate. The calamari were really nice and well seasoned. my friend had a mushroom soup which was delicious. my son as a part of kids menu, received grissini and vegetable to start with. As a main, I’ve ordered penne Gardinera . 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻. The portions were really nice and I think the food is value for the money I couldn’t leave without desert. Scrumptious bread-and-butter pudding is served with vanilla ice cream. overall, we had a very lovely lunch in Carluccios!!!!!
Breakfast was good. Staff were very polite but food was slow to arrive. Great ambience sitting in the grand station hall looking at the front of the Eurostar trains (especially for train enthusiasts). Quiet and calm for meals requiring good conversation
I visited this restaurant whilst I waited for my train. There was such a nice atmosphere and it was a really nice environment to be in. All the staff were very attentive, especially my server. The restaurant is really nicely decorated too.
The food was lovely, I had the garlic bread and vegetarian ravioli (I recommend these if you're visiting) and the wine was really nice as well.
There is a shop inside selling produce, sadly I did not have time to purchase anything but I certainly would have if there was time.
I'd certainly recommend dropping in if you have time before your train comes.🙂
We had a fabulous lunch yesterday, under the heaters on the concourse. Massive fun, great food, wine all swiftly served, and as the waiter agreed, no calories in the pud. We friends 'who lunch' will meet there again, coming from as far away as North Yorkshire and others closer to London. Thank you, thank you. A great time.
A good place to grab a bite after stepping off the trains. Reliable good food that satisfies.
We ate here before catching a train home. There was a wide range of choice on the menu. The food was good and of a high quality, although the casarecce pasta could have done with a little more sauce or parmesan for flavour and texture. Service was friendly. Overall, for a bite to eat when you're around the train station, this is a good choice.
This restaurant never ceases to amaze me. Their food is very good, prepared fairly quickly and served in a nicely manner.
The personnel is very nice and they have qt least one italian person working in, making this experience more authentic.
DELICIOUS, superbly priced food and drink catering for all palates, the staff are very welcoming, do not rush you, are knowledgeable and professional (thank you to ALL the St Pancras staff 10/6/23 4.30pm). I booked a table for 4 and asked for seats closest to the tracks which made for interesting views not least the euro star arrivals. Fabulous location with very comfortable seating. Wonderful early dinner with friends, all of whom were impressed with Carluccios St Pancras!
Stopped by here for breakfast with my wife while heading out somewhere else for the day.
We were quick to be seated as it was quiet and the staff gave us just enough time to have a look at the menu without leaving it too long or asking too quickly. Food was as ordered and piping hot and tasty.
My first visit to a Carluccios in about a year, I was both surprised and impressed by the removal of pizza from the menu, thus helps the chain I guess stand out from the other big Italian eats.
The staff at this restaurant are all very nice, working hard to achieve your requirement.
Decent attention placed on allergies and the possibility to adapt some meals.
Food was nice and for our party of 7 it was a nice step back from the hustle and bustle of much of the area.
Would recommend and would eat there again.
Forced sabbaticals, stricter hygiene, social distancing, continuing unreasonable rents and rates, high energy, meat and produce costs, staff shortages and lower footfall have led to the ruin of many a restaurant over the past three years. Many closed, some are just not as appealing as they were, all the ones that survived are more expensive.
Yet Caluccio's is offering great food and drink at reasonable prices, a nice atmosphere, and still manages to provide great service too, at least at its St Pancras restaurant. A perfect cappuccino followed by a generous antipasta sharing plate and optimally prepared (ie well seasoned and not chewy) calamari fritti, accompanied by a couple of professionally prepared Aperol spritzes made our visit great. What made it exceptional was the service. Prompt, friendly, informative, efficient. All were great but Teresa deserves a special mention. Thank you.
The original Carluccio's on Neal Street in Covent Gatden was where Jamie Oliver launched his career, and in which the likes of Prince Charles, Nicole Kidman and Elton John dined. I could see them eating and drinking at St Pancras too, but I have just had two Aperol spritzes.
