What a fantastic meal! We visited on Friday at lunch. When we arrived the atmosphere was very cool, with lots of windows and a relaxing vibe. We were served by Yui who was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the Taste of Samba which was a great selection of their menu. Everything was so delicious, I honestly can't fault any of the dishes. I highly recommend it.

A delicious experience! I highly recommend the tasting menu. We did the 100pound tasting menu and it was actually a bit too much food but so delicious, and very worth it for the quality and amount of food you get.

Service started well then went downhill. Tried to clear our plates before we were done, and without asking. Food taste is good, presentation excellent! Servings are small. Can imagine this place being booked out for corporate events or perhaps a wedding celebration.

Thank you for giving us the best table in the restaurant! We came without reservation and they found a place for us but I asked for the table i like the most with an amazing view and the lovely hostess made it happen. Service quick and on point. Not enough sushi options on the menu tho.

I can say that we have no regrets from the food we have ordered. We left their with a happy heart and filled bellies. The only thing that we have regretted was not booking the restaurant upstairs (we dine-in outdoors) because when I went to their loo which is located on the same floor. I saw a somewhat magical garden-ish restaurant and would probably have enjoyed more if we reserved our table there instead of their outside restau. All in all, we are glad to have tried this restaurant. We will be back soon!

Eating is Covent Garden is always fun, I’m shocked it’s taken me this long to visit Sushi Samba. I had a lovely Father’s Day lunch, our waiter Philipos was superb, very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and helpful with allergens. The portions are a great size and each course was made beautifully. On leaving I left my new sunglasses on table and just as we walked out the lovely receptionist asked us to wait for a moment as they were bringing it down. The only small star off the 5 for service is for the bar , wine took a long time to arrive , our waiter actually had to get it himself. If it had been faster we would have had more wine / cocktails. Overall lovely experience and great location strongly suggest a visit 🙌🏻

You can never go wrong with sushi samba. It's a great experience from the moment you step in. Be sure to book a table ahead of time as it gets busy. Order anything from the menu and you'll not be disappointed

The food was amazing. The best sushi I’ve ever had. The lamb chops, super ! I can’t overemphasize how good the food was. We didn’t have a reservation but the staff were super helpful and nice to get us a table.

I’ve been going to Sushi Samba for quite a few years which for me is a bit weird as I don’t eat fish nor any type of sushi but I’m going there because the dinning experience is brilliant and bringing guests who do like sushi or fish are really enjoying it The two caveats I’ll add are; For non-fish eaters there are less and less options (there were more in the past) The service wasn’t as attentive, we had to search for the waiter and try to get his attention a few times - usually in a restaurant at this class I don’t expect to spend so much time searching for service

Modern ambiance with live DJ. Perfect for drinks with friends, tend to attract a younger crowd. The food is good even though some dishes are hit or miss. I wouldn’t say this is THE place for sushi but their mix of Latin American influences is innovative. As for the service, Stefano was amazing, always attentive and make sure we got what we order, he was kind enough to give us recommendations for drinks and food. For dessert please try rainforest, something different but delicious.

What a lovely place to have lunch. The ambiance is classy and sleek, with lots of beautiful colorful accents. The restaurant is spacious and they have a full bar. We had a tasting menu and they very kindly accommodated my food allergies by alerting me of risks of cross-contamination and recommending substitutions, even though the menu was fixed. They were just so kind and thoughtful, so if you have dietary restrictions, this is a safe space where they care about you. To top it all of, the food was AMAZING. We had wagyu gyoza, nigiri, yellowtail taquitos, several rolls, and two different desserts, the chocolate banana cake and the rainforest one which is basically chocolate mousse covered in chocolate crumbles and decorated to look like a flower pot. The cocktails were also excellent. I whole-heartedly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Japanese food/sushi!! Everything was just so lovely. We are hoping to go back as soon as we can!

Had a 10/10 experience at Sushisamba! Our waiter Denis was the real star of the show - everything he recommended hit the spot! The food, desserts and service from Denis made it a wholesome and memorable evening.

My first visit to Sushi Samba was during a quiet Monday lunchtime. The restaurant floor is accessible by a lot of steps but opens out to a long windowed room overlooking the end of Covent Garden Piazza. The kitchen is open. The menu isn’t straight-forward and you’ll need guidance. The sushi options are expensive, especially the sashimi. The food was good, but portions small for the price. The pre-ordering service was good but the staff member bringing food to our table wasn’t well trained - moving drinks around to accommodate dishes and leaning over my plate while eating. Our water bottle wasn’t refilled when empty. The food was tasty although one item we ordered (the Sea Bass Seviche) was in far too rich a sauce. It’s a good spot for a memorable lunch, the theme is very Instagrammable which, I think, is why 90% of the lunchtime crowd were young girls. I recommend and I’d visit again, but it’s a considered choice due to the price.

A lot of due diligence went into choosing my hospitality on my 15 day London Trip. I ended up deciding on this establishment due to its proximity to my work and value proposition. Safe to say it was a good decision, location is unmatched as it was a 1 minute walk to work. Although I always drink black coffee, I enjoyed a plethora of complementary cappicinos and biscuits. On the down, the room was only cleaned every other day and the gym was very small. A proper 3.5 star hotel.

I really wanted to love this place more but I must say for the price, it's not onpar with similar restaurants. I will start saying my server was polite but seemed to be on edge the whole time, she also simply took my chopsticks and removed the restaurants paper hold, for no reason, I would prefer my utensils to not be touched if there's no reason for such. The food was delicious, though the portions were a bit on the small side, the ingredients were good. The wasabi that came with the sashimi was mixed real and paste, I didn't want to risk ordering the extra wasabi in case it was the same. The water you pay £3 for is house filtered and there is no other option, it doesn't taste the best to be honest and feels like a lot of money for not mineral water at room temperature, no ice provided either. Overall good, but could definitely be better.

Googled “best sushi near me” on a recent London trip and Google did not get it wrong. Memorable, inventive and delicious. I’ve been to a few of the sushisamba’s across the globe and I think this one is best! A gorgeous space to step into away from the crowds in Covent Garden.
