Amazing delicious meal and friendly staff. Most of all, the venue interior, exterior was so so nice. Cool symbolic sculpture. I hope the print house re-opens soon.

We had a family brunch here this morning to catch up with a friend who has moved state-side. It was the perfect place to reconnect. The food was delicious on every level and the care and consideration with which it was prepared and served, paramount. Staff entice you to return because the love put into this place will blow you away from the moment you approach its doors. Please decide for yourself. Us Stratford folk are blessed to have such a spectacular venue on our doorstep. I am rarely pleased to pay the bill when I eat out. This was worth every penny and then some! Next time, we will ravish the Sunday lunch menu...

Since it changed owner (yet again), everything is delightful: food, drinks, staff, decor & promotional nights (quiz night, tapas night etc). Wholeheartedly recommended.

Had a family Sunday dinner in this week, we had a party of 12 from the moment we arrived the staff were excellent . The food is to die for its a quirky pub/restaurant not the run of the mill pub grub,it's more like a 5 star grastro bar. The staff were very helpful with wine and beer selection we all felt at home throughout the evening. We all agreed to come back.
It's a real gem for food and drink in the heart of Stratford .

September 10, 2014 - INNER SUNSHINE , RESTAURANT REVIEW - Sunny London Nearly everything during our meal at the Print House Bar and Kitchen melted in our mouths. Except one, gooey, delicious delicacy. And I bet you’re wondering just what it was, Sunny friends!  As part of our recent tour of Stratford, Mr. Sunny and I spent a few hours eating at a new restaurant in London that truly is worth making the trip to the area. The venue made a strong impression on us, even before we arrived. When we stopped to ask someone for directions, we were told to just look for a structure that resembled the shape of the Olympic torch. I was definitely skeptical about that. However, this is what we found… Sure enough, when we saw the distinctive Strand East Tower across a bridge, we knew we were headed to the right place. Located on the bank of the Three Mills Wall river in Stratford, the building is very historic. It was previously a printing warehouse. Some designs that served as logos for the building

Nearly everything during our meal at the Print House Bar and Kitchen melted in our mouths. Except one, gooey, delicious delicacy. And I bet you’re wondering just what it was, Sunny friends!

When we stopped to ask someone for directions, we were told to just look for a structure that resembled the shape of the Olympic torch. I was definitely skeptical about that.

Sure enough, when we saw the distinctive Strand East Tower across a bridge, we knew we were headed to the right place.

Located on the bank of the Three Mills Wall river in Stratford, the building is very historic. It was previously a printing warehouse. Some designs that served as logos for the building are still featured on the exterior. It’s said that this dog originated as a pencil drawing by a printer.

We loved the Print House Bar and Kitchen’s large exterior, and the interior was even more spacious. Having space for yourself is a bit of a battle in London, especially when dining. So, this restaurant’s modern, open style of the bar and dining areas is a real treat.

Having only opened a few months ago, the Print House features simple, but refined British food. Mr. Sunny and I ordered our adult beverages and made our menu selections.

Mr. Sunny’s enjoyed his Starter, the Ham Hock Terrine, Scotch Egg, Beef Brisket and House Pickles. I had originally wanted it, but conceded to Mr. Sunny. I was thankful I did when it arrived. The Scotch egg had black pudding in it. That’s something I haven’t tried yet.

When my Starter hit the table, I was elated! What a beautiful presentation!

I loved my Smoked Salmon, Horseradish Creme Fraiche, Mixed Leaves and Apple. The seafood paired delicately with the tart slivers of green apple.

We learned that the Print House attracts a young professional crowd and gets quite busy in the evenings. Also, since their Sunday Roasts are spectacular, that’s generally their busiest day. Because it was Saturday and we couldn’t order from that menu, I naturally gravitated toward a burger.

The Scotch Angus Beef Burger (180g) in a Brioche Bun, Tomato, Date Jam, Pickles, House Chips and Monterey. The bun was like a big, buttery pillow surrounding the beef. It melted like candy floss (cotton candy for my US readers) around the meat.

But that wasn’t the only thing melting during our meal. Mr. Sunny’s Main course topped my food again! He dined on the Lamb Shank in Citrus and Thyme with Creamy Colcannon.

Not only was scrumptious, but also the lamb melted off the bone. I made Mr. Sunny stop eating so I could grab this shot of the bare lamb bone to share with you.

Between the brioche bun and the teflon lamb bone, our lunch was sliding right down our stomachs. Until the Sticky Toffee Pudding snuck on to the table… I’m a real sucker for Sticky Toffee Pudding. This one came with an airy cloud of vanilla marscapone. It had trouble written all over it.

This danger dessert trapped me like a spider’s web. My fork was lassoed to my hand! I couldn’t stop scooping big bites in my mouth. It’s the first time I’ve had sticky toffee pudding that wasn’t so sweet it stopped me after just a few bites.

Unbelievable.

Print House Bar and Kitchen has really fabulous food, but the Sticky Toffee Pudding with Vanilla Marscapone Cream is the true trophy. If you try it- it will trap you too!

Trying to ignore our food coma, we gazed out the window for a few more minutes.

We just weren’t quite ready to leave. Thank goodness the restaurant also has a huge terrace.

I hear it gets pretty lively with jazz bands and other activities at night and on weekends.

And, you won’t believe what this Florida girl who is fully focused on finding sun and fun in London found next…

That’s right, Sunny friends. Print House Bar and Kitchen also has a BEACH!

The only problem is, I was stuck to the is chair for a while.

The Print House Bar and Kitchen is located at 133 High Street, Stratford, London E15 2RB. The large outdoor terrace, neighboured by the distinctive Strand East tower makes it an ideal space to grab a drink or enjoy a meal. Or, get stuck in a lounge chair, like I did.

Damn good atmosphere. Adjacent to the river and you can enjoy food and liquor in a serene ambiance. Good service of the staff and polite conduct. Chicken skewer is a nice food option to try. The sauce has a magical flavour. The location is very convenient.

We booked a table for 4(ended up 5) for 1730 (yesterday 25OCT)but we got there at 1745, but we rang to let them know. From the outset the staff were INCREDIBLE! From the greet staff to the bar staff to the wait staff, everybody was smiling & happy & so friendly. The food was very nice too but the employees made our pre-ABBA show experience just awesome! Jim & Tonic has an amazing ambience & very cool/current vibe. Decor is super trendy & lovely too! THANK YOU ALL, you are beautiful humans!!

We found this place after going to the nearby Abba Voyage venue. Four of us went and we just had to wait a couple of minutes for a table as we hadn't booked. We got our order in just before a large table of other concert goers got theirs in. The drinks came out fairly promptly and three of our party had different gins that are brewed on the property, they were all excellent. We were waiting quite some time for our food, the big party had had theirs before us and when one of our party said it looks like the kitchen are cleaning down that we approached one of the staff to ask about our food. It transpired that our order had been completely lost. It could have been disastrous as we were all starving and didn't know the area and was getting fairly late on a Sunday night. However, the manager was amazing with how he dealt with the situation. He got the kitchen staff to turn everything back on and our food was soon with us. The manager and chef were both exceedingly apologetic and couldn't do enough for us. So definitely well done on serving us, very nice food and excellent drinks, staff were also excellent.

8 of us enjoyed a good meal at Jim & Tonic, the only small downside being over a peanut allergy. There was no mention of peanuts in the pudding on the menu but having asked (just to make sure), we were told that there were. Confusion reigned! In the event, there were no peanuts in the pudding in question and the matter was settled. What was really impressive was the way the manager dealt with the situation extremely professionally and generously took something off the bill. We would happily return to eat there again.

Amazing! from the service, the bartender and the chefs. I loved the ambiance, the drinks were really well balanced, and the chef made accommodations for us as we wanted to try certain dishes slightly differently. I wish I remember the servers name because he was delightful to us as well had a great laugh. Started with a T! 🙂. We will be back!

Been a few times, good food, nice outdoor area for summer! Oktoberfest event was brilliant! Dog friendly and all the staff are lovely bringing out treats and bowls of water for the boys! Staff were great when I booked for my sisters birthday and did an amazing job setting up all the balloons and banners I left with them ! Great venue !

Excellent venue for meeting family and friends. Food very good and drinks reasonably priced. Used prior to going to the ABBA voyage show and we were not the only ones judging by the dress code whilst we were there. Lovely setting and a good vibe to relax. We will be visiting again when in the area.

This lovely bar and restaurant, would have had 5 stars if the menu had more options. I would say 60% of the menu had pork in it. Which meant my choices were limited. The hostess was very helpful. I chose a meal I would not normally have. A burger....

Lukewarm burrito bowls, overcooked churros... The Tacos El Rey kitchen was a let down here. Hopefully just a one off, but definitely a disappointment on date night.

Great spot for some chilled out and unpretentious food and drinks prior to the Abba Voyage show. Loved the G&T selection and the chicken from the grill was perfect. Menu not as limited as previous reviews indicate due to being under new ownership.
