Great coffee, good atmosphere good food lovely staff
Difficult finding good coffee in Kingston. Was relieved when I discovered Local Hero.
Great place to meet friends etc over a snack & drinks
best coffee i had in a long time ❤️
Great quality coffee and really good food (healthy and not so healthy!)
The best coffee in Kingston!
Excellent Milk with Nutmeg and Honey .... Mmmm
Located on the busy Fulham Road, Local Hero is a friendly cafe with decent coffee. They do a good range of light lunches and cakes. Not the cosiest cafe but a nice place for a catch-up lunch with friends if you want to escape the nearby chains.
Local Hero used to be my local cafe. A simple neighbourhood type place with great coffee and decent, simple food, including some great wraps and sandwiches.
Whenever I'm in the area I always pop in to see what's changed and although the menu is always a little different the food is always good and the coffee is still great. Not worth going out of your way to visit but if you're in the area, definitely worth your consideration.
Rating of 4 is for the food, the decor within I basic but clean but food is fresh with good health options available.
Coffee is fine and a good selection of cakes and buns is usually also on offer.
I don't think WiFi is available but as its small they probably don't want space taken by people having one coffee and using WiFi for 2 hours.
3 minutes from parsons green station.
The courgette fritters I savored were truly exceptional, with a delightful combination of a slightly crispy exterior and a moist and we'll seasoned interior. The brioche french toast was an indulgent masterpiece, offering a flawless blend of sweetness and decadence. And how could I possibly omit the avocado toast with poached egg? It was a harmonious combination of velvety avocado and flawlessly poached egg.
Lovely coffee shop serving great food! We had a delicious brunch here today - scrambled eggs on sourdough with side of grilled tomatoes and eggs Benedict. Eggs perfectly cooked & amazing yellow colour. Couldn't resist dessert of pain au chocolat & lemon drizzle cake! 😋 Of course the coffee was great. We ate in the covered dining area at the back, spacious but cosy & comfy. Staff were so friendly and service was great. Made our Wednesday morning off work! 👍
This coffee shop would be ideal if you're searching for a quiet area to unwind and read a book or anything else. The greatest coffee is offered there, and they even sell some freshly baked goodies. The workers at this establishment are really skilled, and the atmosphere is very soothing. Everything I needed was given to me, so I couldn't have asked for more. Congrats, guys! Keep producing delicious cakes and coffee
Nice shop with friendly staff serving delicious coffee. They offer a breakfast and lunch menu too. Check out the garden seating on days with good weather. 🌞
The flat white I had today local Hero Fulham was perfect in every way. The milk was perfectly steamed, with a thin layer of foam on top. The espresso was rich and flavorful, with no bitterness. The coffee was served in a ceramic cup, which helped to keep it warm. I took a sip and closed my eyes in pleasure. The coffee was smooth and creamy, with a rich chocolatey flavor. It was the perfect way to start my day. Thank you Fulham
Lovely cafe in Fulham. Met here for a catch up and breakfast, good food and drink options and reasonably priced too. Good service and friendly staff, I got the toasted bagel and ham croissant with hot chocolate and it was good. Many seating options both inside and out.
My girlfriend and I had a great brunch here. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The coffee was good and the food was amazing.
Cosy brunch / coffee place with incredible food. The best avocado on toast (with feta, pesto, rocket and poached eggs) and a variety of amazing focaccia. Place itself is really quaint with a heated covered outdoor area. Staff are polite and friendly.
Both “charming” and “delicious” spring to mind when thinking of Local Hero. The avocado toast is quite tasty and the add-ons perfect. Add to that the relaxed coffee shop ambience, and you’ve got yourself a perfect Sunday brunch destination, made even more attractive on a rainy London day…
Definitely worth to come for a cup of coffee!!
