We loved it, the bagels were delicious, both the ones we took home and the ones we had for there breakfast. The service from Mr Rinkoff's grandson was first class. The range of delicious breads, cakes, bagels and rolls was incredible. We will be regular customers.

The best cronuts I've ever had. I've traveled 238 miles for this & it was worth it. I'll definitely come again. If only there were based up North.

After stumbling upon the Vallance rd bakery, I finally made my way to the Jubilee st one - and it was absolutely amazing! The first crodough (I had the pistachio topping one) of my life was gorgeous! :) and so were the almond pasty. Special thanks for Alex for the advice and excellent service!

A hidden east London gem! I went there to try my first crodough and rainbow bagel with melted marshmallows. For most people one crodough should fill you up, I had the Oreo one which was tasty! The rainbow bagel with melted marshmallows is a must to lighten up your day, although be warned, it can get pretty sticky!

Came to rinkoff for one of the delicious cronuts. Did not disappoint!! A great variety of flavours. Opted for the pistachio and caramel, which was generously sweet with a great flakey texture. The caramel latte was also delicious. Can't recommend the cronuts highly enough! Will be back to try alternative flavours

It is very much a hit and miss bakery. Some of the stuff is amazing, the others not so much. I can recommend the cronut and the babka. Still, if you are in the are and want to grab a cheap sandwich, you could do worse.

Yum yum in my tum tum! My friend bought me this lovely specimen of a croghnut (sorry about the spelling) and my goodness. It was not too sweet and it was smooth.

I loved the flavour and texture. The filling I was not too fond of but devoured it nonetheless.

Very well presented and she said the shop has been there for years (I do not recall ever seeing it) and I hope to be visiting it myself soon.

Looking forward to my next one!

This place is tucked away from the main road but what a treat. They make something called cronuts which are basically croissant doughnuts. They taste sublime. Will be back again for more.

Have always supplied the best of Jewish Confectionary and bread in the East End of London, is a wonderful family run Bakery where they are always polite and helpful would recommend them to everyone. Also supply Deli's and some of the big West End shops like Harvey Nichols and Harods with their produce>

We went there over the weekend the portions of the cronuts we chose  were custard one they were big in comparison to the one from cocomaya, just in case you don't know what i am on about its a crossbreed between a croissant and a donut. unfortunately they weren't as crisp but still really nice and appeared to be fresh as well which was brownie points but lacked the wow factor the text felt a bit soggy. The staff was very friendly and welcoming they had few tables outside where you could seat down and eat. the place is a bit tucked away so it can be challenging to find. Verdict good place to go if you are in hunt of cronuts deffo a place I would go back 2 but cocomaya still takes over on this one

DISCLAIMER: The rating of a 4.0 is given directly to The Cro-Dough, I haven't managed to try any other products from Rinkoff but if the Cro-Dough is anything to go by, their other treats will be spot on!

Ever since the launch of The Cronut I had been searching high and low in London, trying to catch a rare glimpse of one, as I'm a sucker for anything new and quirky. I know The Londoner found The Dosant at Duck & Waffle but that was a slightly different take on the Cronut and I wanted as close to the real thing as I could get it. After all my research I found that Rinkoff Bakeries had the answer in the form of their Cro-Dough. Essentially theirs is the same shape and design but created with their 100 year old croissant dough family recipe! 100 years!!

So with all this being said, when my sister met me in central London on my lunch hour last Friday, I knew exactly where I was taking her. Off in search of this infamous treat! Luckily it was only a couple of stops up the District Line to Whitechapel and a short saunter down a side street, all the while we anxiously waited for the Rinkoff Bakery to appear.

The small unassuming bakery is nestled on a quiet street corner, away from the overcrowded pavements of the high-street and thankfully there were no scenes like the queues in New York. We marched straight inside to find that we had come at just the right time, as stocks were running low. We hastily ordered the final two Cro-Doughs before anyone else could get at them and swiftly made our way outside to begin the inevitable photos and scoffing of these flakey little beauties!

The Cro-Dough comes in three different flavours. Raspberry, Custard and Cream but I have been told that there are new flavours being readied in the aisles so watch this space! We got our hands on a raspberry one and a custard one. First of all the thing that you notice is that these are far heavier than you imagined they would be. In my head I thought it would be as flakey as a croissant but I guess I just didn't know what to expect. The realisation is that they are essentially deep fried croissants so the outer shell is a golden brown colour, covered in sugar and the custard Cro-Dough had an added dusting of cinnamon.

After one bite I was sold! What you don't realise on first appearances is that the custard and raspberry jam not only covers the top of the Cro-Dough but it has also been piped all the way around the inside too! This coupled with the soft fluffy croissant bread inside and the delicious donut exterior made for one epic mouthful! It wasnt too greasy or sickly as some people had first worried about and you could even taste hints of that familiar croissant flavour, which I thought would have been lost in the frying process. In a nutshell, it was everything I imagined and more! Truly delicious, borrowing the best characteristics from the two original pastries and creating one fine mashup indeed!

Needless to say these were incredible lunchtime treats and I would have gladly grabbed a few more for the journey home if they hadn't sold out. If Rinkoff manages to get selling these beauties near the centre of the city I can see them making a small fortune. Be prepared to replace those morning Danish pastries everyone, one bite of the Cro-Dough and you'll be hooked for sure. I would even be intrigued to see how well the Cro-Dough would do at a food market like KERB in the week. There is a lot of potential for this tasty little hybrid and although the guys at TimeOut beat me to it, I didn't mind one bit jumping on this bandwagon!

Enjoy!

Back in 2021, I ordered Rinkoff’s chocolate babka and challah from Gorillas several times. The babka was hit-or-miss, sometimes quite dry. The challah had a nice texture but I didn’t like the taste. At some point, Gorillas stopped selling then. Recently, I found that I could order Rinkoff’s products on UberEats(it seems that they expanded the delivery area) and decided to give them another go. I ordered challah and babka again, with some other things I haven’t tried before (wish you could add other products like sourdough bread to UberEats). Overall I would say that it’s a solid bakery. Challah: I love the texture, but the caraway seed (or cumin?) in it really puts me off. It’s on the sweet side, personally I prefer it to be a little bit salty. Besides, it says on UberEats that “Comes plaited or round”; I added a note asking for plaited but received a round one. update:Yes it as poppy seeds on the outside, but it also has caraway seeds inside. I can distinguish between caraway and poppy seeds. Maybe caraway seeds just accidentally came into the dough. Bagel: The texture is close to that from Beigel Bake(brick lane), quite doughy, which I don’t like. But it’s sweeter and therefore better if you eat only with cream cheese (brick lane bagel is too bland unless eaten with strong fillings like salt beef). One of them was squashed by delivery. Chocolate babka: Still full of chocolate; much fresher than the ones I used to get from Gorillas. Cinnamon bun: I really love the texture, will order again even though I don’t like cinnamon. Blueberry muffin: Large and fluffy, lighter than a normal muffin, enough blueberries and not too sweet.

An institution, its old school, meaning a small shop selling everything from matcha cookies to apple turnovers and rolls. Cinnamon bun for £1.80 is such great value these days it should be considered a public service. The bread is fluffy in all the right places and perfumed with scents of cinnamon and doughnut. Only downside is that the bread smells slightly of deep fried grease, presumably from all the cronuts they make. Still a 5/5

A slice of Heaven, in the East End of London... This Bakery was recommended to me and it exceeded my expectations! This is a small shop selling bread, bagels, rolls, cakes and filled sandwiches (inc vegan). I had a delicious toasted cheese, red pepper and aubergine filled roll and a good cup of tea - which you can have on the tables outside. Thoroughly recommended!

I recommend people try out this bakery a bit expensive but you won't be disappointed money well spent and the food and service was perfect. Best salt beef and mustard bagel have tasted for quite some time and apple turnover was delicious. I even went back a little later and had another with almond twist 😂. It's good to see a traditional bakery still about also some seating outside

I'm a fan of their rainbow bagel. It's so yummy. I tend to heat it up in the oven then add some cream cheese, salmon & rocket. It's also great with homemade guacamole too.

The Rinkoff Bakery is a little hidden gem. Easily one of the best bakeries around East London! There are plenty of options for both sweet and savoury baked goods. The coffee is great as well! You have to try one of their signature cronuts - unreal!

Last time I went I came just before closing and missed out on getting a crodough. This time, I came just before midday and managed to score both their cream egg and kinder bueno variations. I've had some poor imitations of a crodough over the years, but this one lived up to the hype - crisp, filled, fluffy and not too sickly.

It's not a croissant, it's not a doughnut, - it's a cronut! Absolute amazing taste! And so many variations! A cronut currently for £4.50, friendly staff. Seating area (4 tables) outside available. No bathrooms or indoor seating. I tried many different crodoughs but the new one with Bueno is by far my favourite!!

Loved the place! Reasonably priced, and both the coffee and pastries were delicious. There are vegan options available, and the terrace is a super plus for sunny days. Staff was very friendly, a local business worth supporting 👍

The staff here are always polite and welcoming. The coffee is a million times better than some chains, and their crodoughs are delicious. There is an excellent selection of challah breads, rolls, pastries, and other things to take home. Their filled bagels are also lovely. My favourite is the cream cheese and smoked salmon. Definitely recommend this place. A wonderful spot in east London.

This place makes me so happy, just even walking past it. Gorgeous tasting goods and comforting, the coffee is fantastic, too. Can’t go wrong with an indulgent almond croissant or the pistachio crodough, and the challah bread is to die for. Excellent friendly service!

I have been living in the area for many years and had heard about Rinkoff Bakery before, but only started trying their products about three weeks ago. Now I love their bread and I am trying different products every now and then. Some are to my taste others aren't, however the quality is there and staff is friendly and professional. I cannot stop coming back, you have yet another regular customer.
