Great service, good atmosphere, delicious food and at a decent price! Only negative was it was a bit too dark and no one could read the menu. Other customers were also using their phones as torches to see their menus. I would definitly go there again.

I took a couple of my team members along as I thought it could be interesting with the Bollywood posters all along the walls but I was worried if they'd like it as they're Indian but I need not have as it was a fun atmosphere, the food was great and we had a lovely evening! :-)

Fantastic food, varied menu catering for all tastes. The chicken and lamb were cooked to perfection and the server's recommendations were spot on. The service was as great as the food; they even valet park your car. Some busy streets near it though, so time your journey appropriately. Highly recommended!

This place serves amazing Indian food. They have a good selection of meat and meat-free options. We tried the rogan gosht and spicy dhaba chicken. Both were excellent, in terms of quality and quantity. Be aware that the food does not come out of the kitchen fast, but it's well worth the wait. Recommended!

The place is very close to Angel tube station. We were a group of 10 so had to make a reservation. The menu is small, just enough options. Food is very cheap and tasty. Could improve the breads. Would definitely come again.

Hint yemeklerini çok merak ediyordum. Puani yuksek oldugu icin burayi sectim. Tavuklar yumusacik pamuk gibiydi. Ogle yemegi tepsisinde ki tavugun sosu cok yogun bi kivamda lezzetliydi Yoğurtlu degisik bir sostu. Sebze yemegi tam turk isi parlicanli patatesli bi yemekti bizim damak tadimiza cok uygundu. Pilav demek bana pek dogru gelmiyor daha cok haslanmis pirinc gibi oluyor bana pek uygun degildi. Yemegin yaninda iki degisik sos vardi biri pancar tursusu ezmesi digerinin ise ne oldunu anlayamadim sanırım yoresel bir sostu benim icin guzel degildi. Kenar mahallede olmasina ragmen kalabalik oluyor. Duvarlarda ki Bollywood film afisleri cok eglenceliydi.

Until last week, I had never visited an Indian restaurant (Whetherspoon’s “Curry Nights” definitely don’t count!).

It was not an option growing up (there are no Indian restaurants where I grew up), and after I moved away from my parents, it wasn’t really either (my boyfriend is Indian and cooks. Enough said).

But we passed the Delhi Grill a few times, and it looked kind of fun, and the menu “seemed legit” (his words not mine). And to some extend, it was...

I tried several Indian restaurants and this one is the one I like most - the food I mean. Unfortunately, the music is always too loud :( the staff is very friendly.

The Hanndi Goat, a kind of yoghurt and tomato based curry, was fiery. The spices were perfectly balanced and warded off the foul aroma of the goat. And, the meat! So soft it fell off the bone.

We haven’t eaten at the Delhi Grill for a long time now, it seem to reach such a high status with some bloggers that when I ate there, well I was kinda let down, but then I realized all those who praised it actually ate there on a freebie. I learnt my lesson.

"Have we ordered too much?" I asked the waiter taking our orders. It's easy to do to that in Delhi Grill, the newest addition to Angel Islington Chapel Market. Its relatively small menu of around twenty items ranging from finger bites like samosa to more substantial meat dishes such as rogan gosht come with prices between ÂŁ1.50 to under ÂŁ7.

I quite liked this place. The food is pretty good, with the naans being some of the best I've found in London so far, and the curries being as authentic as they can get, unlike most other Indian eateries in central London. Its a good looking, cozy sort of place as well and you don't have to wait endlessly for a table. I won't mind a menu expansion though!

Delhi Grill is my favorite Indian dhaba n London. As soon as you enter the restaurant, your senses will be filled with the tandoori roti that is being cooked at the entrance, and you feel home right there!

The ambience is little rough and Indian newspapers plastered on the wall just makes me more nostalgic.

If you are eating rotis, do try the Peshawari Naan, it's ridiculously good. The chutneys they serve with pakoras always transport me back home. Chicken Tandoori and lamb biryani is fab too. End it with a pistachio kulfi for the complete Indian meal.

Prices are very reasonable and I can see this place becoming more famous very soon.

We came here with a big group and had an awesome dine experience. The spices are well picked and let you travel to the streets and restaurants of Delhi. Try the Pan Puri - a flavourful experience that explodes into your mouth and gives you multi layered sensations. Go with the Chutneys they are a great Entree. The Mango Lassi is great to mild the spiceys and gives a fruitful smoothness. The chicken is super tender and perfect to pick it up with the garlic chili Naan. Definitely a must go if you are looking for authentic and affordable Indian cuisine.

Delhi Grill , Chapel market ,Islington London is good Indian Retaurant. It has good variety of Indian snacks & main dishes. The restaurant has street food as well like Pani Puri, Samosa Chat etc.You can dine in or order online, I tried here street food, dal makhni & mix vegetables đŸ„— & my family tried butter chicken 🐓, chicken tikka ,keema nan, all were tasty 😋 as well as very much pocket friendly. On weekends it catches rush, so it’s better to reserve the table in advance.

The food was absolutley delicious and the service was good. I would recommend the pani puri dish as it was a mouthful of flavours and it was fun to eat, all in a go with the flavoured water on top which was like a shot of freshness with a kick. We had one shot of that at the begining of our meal and the rest as a palate cleanser between dishes and it worked really well. We also had the sharing grill platter and an aloo tiki chaat which were all very tasty.

We visited Delhi Grill on a Wednesday evening and had the most lovely experience! Service was spotless, quick, to the point. Staff was welcoming and smiling. The atmosphere of the place is definitely unique! I loved the interiors and the overall themes! Food-wise - tempted to say this is the best Indian place serving authentic Punjabi food I have been so far! We arrived fairly hungry and tried many dishes. We opened our dinner with some fantastic lamb samosas and poppadom with varies sauces. Starters were fantastic, fresh and nicely presented! We then ordered okra fries and lamb chops - both were just a dream! Following this, we ordered some paneer and chicken curry with chilly & garlic naan and rice. The naan was so crunchy and tasty - I loved it so much! We also had a bottle of Spanish white wine with our meal, which was a perfect pairing to the dishes. Overall, wonderful experience. I would recommend with no hesitation & we cannot wait to be back very soon! A real gem in the Angel area! ❀

As a Malaysian Indian, I was thrilled to find this place that offered really flavorful Indian dishes. Their parathas were really good, honestly better that most restaurants I’ve eaten at Mumbai. Their chicken makhani although had an odd taste but their briyani, other chicken dishes were really good.

A nice little place with some very nice food. The Kebabs were fresh, the Tandoori chicken juicy, but the highlight for me was Fish Tikka from the grill! For such a long time I had been wanting to try out a proper Fish Tikka from an Indian grill, and have to say it surpassed my expectations on the fish! It was succulent and delicious. The Railway Lamb Curry was nice but perhaps a bit too much tamarind in there. The Biryani was lovely and fragrant, again maybe with a bit too much Tamarind. All in all very much enjoyed the food and the service (we had the whole place to ourselves). Definitely recommend going there for the Fish Tikka!

"This Indian restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I entered, the ambiance felt cozy and comfortable. The staff was incredibly attentive and made fantastic recommendations. We decided to try their chef's specials, and it was a brilliant choice. The unique blend of spices and ingredients resulted in a symphony of flavors. The biryani was fragrant and packed with succulent pieces of meat. The desserts were equally impressive, leaving us with sweet memories to cherish. This restaurant has earned a permanent spot on my list of favorites.

TLDR; Delicious Delhi street food at a reasonable price with interesting decor to match. Stick to the “snack” menu as these were the most interesting and best value. The items on the “snack” menu was definitely the highlight. Both the Behl Puri and Pani Puri were delightful with plenty of aromatics and spices. The coconut and almond naan was a surprising find. It’s a sweet nan that could almost be a dessert. We also had the Railway Lamb which was slow cooked. Not too bad but nothing too mind blowing either. The restaurant was decorated with Bollywood posters and Delhi styled street art. Eye catching for sure but it can come across as a little tacky at times.
