I'd like to go back as this was a brief visit for desert after dinner at a friends. So Nutella pizza it was. Though best to share as I couldn't manage more than two slices.

We visited The Woodman last weekend and had a fantastic time! We both had the burgers, which were delicious, though a little more overdone than we had asked for. A really great pub that feels like it's straight out of the country - we'll definitely be back!

Great village feel pub, a slice of the country in London. Food is excellent, huge portion sizes and fantastic value. Burger and steak nights midweek. Good range of ales, lagers and wines by the glass. Mixed, eclectic crowd. Sunday lunch busiest. Lovely garden.

Fabulous pub getting back on its feet thanks to new manager Simon (who's genuinely a great guy). Excellent and highly valued local pub that's dog friendly with a great selection of beers which you can ask to taste before buying. Cannot wait for when they reopen the kitchen in a few months for food! It's away from the hustle of Battersea Park Road and is very family and community-centric. Great find and highly recommended.

We go to the Woodman regularly for drinks but last Sunday we decides to try their Sunday roast, as we had family visiting. We tried every plate on the menu and they didn't disappoint. Portions are generous, food was well cooked and well presented. Service was pretty fast considering how busy they were. Will definitely eat again.

Great food. Good selection of meat and fish. We had the Salt and pepper squid to share as a starter. Then the roasted hake and the lamb and rosemary pie as mains. Everything was really tasty. Good portions. Interesting selection of beers. Beer garden at the back nicely decorated. Friendly staff.

Little gem in the heart of Battersea, less than one minute walking from the square. Amazing food and real Ale. Scotch eggs are to die for, not to mention the speacials of the night (fish Friday) scallops and monkfish tail 🤩🤩🤩. Have a look at the burger by yourself, big, juicy and perfectly cooked. They serve fresh oysters. I think I may have found my new local pub. Staff is very professional and they really look after you without being indiscreet or intrusive. Definitely it needs to be visited again.

Great place with really nice food. Some of the best pub sandiwches I have tried, recommend the steak sandwich. Very welcoming and nice traditional decoration. Very large inside which is deceptive from the front. Would recommend making the trip.

Great Sunday Lunch in the neighbourhood - we really enjoyed our time in the Woodman today. Friendly waiters are serving an impeccable Sunday roast. Everything we had was good, the Negroni from the bar, their home made bread, the first course platters and obviously the roast and its trimmings. A great local pub with a very pleasant atmosphere in a still lesser known area of London. Fair prices too.

We went here for the roast and I have to say the Vegan nut roast is possibly the best vegan meal I have ever had! The Woodman always impresses and last night was no exception.

Great little pub, short walk from our Airbnb and within walking distance from bus stops nearby. Service was good, food tasty, and decent selection of local beers.

Last couple of meals here have been excellent. Lemon sole and trout last night were both well executed and delicious as were the desserts. Was also here for a veggie Sunday roast a few weeks back and it was great. Have been coming to this local pub for a few years on and off and I'd say the food is the best it's ever been, as is the service.

Went in for Sunday lunch today since re-opening with new owners. They are still settling in however the staff are friendly and the food was very good, a proper Sunday pub lunch…half a (large) chicken, crispy roast potatoes, savoy cabbage, carrots, puréed squash, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire pudding and gravy. Go check it out!
