Very nice experience. EXTREMELY quick service with amazing food, wasn’t busy at all and our waiter was very nice. The only problem is they didn’t have ketchup.
Conveniently located close to the British Museum this outlet (with the building's tiled architecture lovingly preserved) is the perfect lunch break spot with its good menu and great desserts (as pictured)

This is a pretty place with tasty pizza, and good options of sides.
I'd go again if I could.
The staff is friendly but it might be sometimes tough to understand their accent
For a chain- not bad. Quick service personnel at this busy location. Salad and scillian pizzan- thin crust were very good. Great for a bite under £20 including a glass of wine.
Fast service, polite staff and excellent food.
Absolutely shocked at how much I enjoyed this place. Greeted at the door, great atmosphere and most importantly fantastic pizza. Have never been to Pizza Express before. Glad we went in.
When we sat down I asked if this branch took the Tesco Vouchers, since asking the waitress just nodded at everything instead of speaking, it was like a change in the air since we asked. No smiles unfortunately throughout.
We weren't asked if we wanted drinks so I had to speak up and order them (the table behind us was asked) and we weren't asked how our food was during the visit.
Luckily all the food was hot and tasty, the Halloumi Bites could have done with a bit more cooking but on the whole it was great.
The interior of this restaurant is a lot different to the other pizza expresses I have been to, this one was quite old fashioned but it looked nice.
Wouldn't visit this branch again as we felt like as soon as we said about the vouchers we weren't worthy customers.
In true Pizza Express style, there are hints in the decor (I particularly like the lights) to the building's past: an old dairy. The food (standard Pizza Express fare) was good, but I don't think the staff wanted to be there. Sunday evening, and it was half empty, though when booking a table online, there was hardly any availability: perhaps the booking system needs updating. Also, though we had booked (for 5 people) and arrived at the appointed time, tables still had to be moved upon our arrival. But no harm done. There is also some outside seating, which is a bonus, and I cannot fault the location.
Always my go to place after I check in to my hotel. (from Australia) A nice room to be in, prompt service, great pizza, the red wine always goes down well. Cant believe I've never reviewed this one before.
Food was really lovely and we had the most service from Angelika. She was patient and very attentive to our big group of 5 kids and 2 adults and we can’t praise her enough.
Best pizza our family has had in London! We were running late to attend a play, and had to take away the food which we had ordered to dine in. The staff were very helpful in getting our food packed quickly. What was incredible, was that the owner/manager was so thoughtful that he asked where we were going to eat the food… and we replied probably somewhere outside the theatre. Clearly, Pizza Express doesn’t stock plastic cutlery anywhere in its outlets, so the incredible gentleman gave one of their metal forks for us to take away, so the kids could eat their delicious pasta.
We have never experienced such kindness in all of London. Bravo, team Pizza Express! We will never forget you.
Visited Coptic street Pizza express yesterday before my trip to the theatre and I must say they were extremely busy and there was quite a bit of wait for food. But the service and quality of food was amazing. 10/10!
The care the staff take of you elevates this branch of the familiar chain to the level of a beloved local restaurant. All the staff are kind considerate and friendly. Including the cooks . They go out of their way to make dining here a fun special thing. Top marks
We wanted a casual quick meal after a long day exploring the city, and decided on Pizza Express. Casual pizza joint in a nice location. The staff there was very friendly and service was quick. Pizza was great and hit the spot!
We came for pizza after a visit to the British Museum. A nice quaint little place. It was very busy but we got a table. The service was a bit slow but the guys were friendly. My American pizza was delicious as were the famous dough balls.
Absolutley amazing service. We pre ordered 41 pizzas and had a really tight timescale, the Pizza Express team were fabulous. Marco, Angelika and Anna served us brilliantly, very efficient and friendly. And the food was amazing, the chefs Eric and Samir produced 41 amazing pizzas. Thank you. We would definitely come back when next in London.
We came for a late lunch with two kids. Our waitress, Amreeta, was new but superb. She was very friendly and anything she didn’t know, she took the initiative to find out. I asked her about an old pizza that used to be on the menu and the manager, Anna, came and kindly offered to have it done for me. Pizza Express is an old favourite and the food didn’t disappoint. What made this visit unique was Amreeta and how clean the branch is. It has one of the cleanest toilets in London!
Quite a small pizza express but they got really busy. Service was efficient and food was fresh and hot.
