Another day, another lovely weatherspoon's pub visit. With its rich and dark interiors and large main hall, this pub stikes quite an atmosphere that will conquer any romantic heart out there (yes, I like it that much). The amount of tables allows to be able to enjoy this place with some peace, while the service is still fast and efficient, with a friendly staff ready to help out. The food and drinks are of the usual standard for this chain, with competitive prices that make a brief stop in Holborn not a treat to the wallet.

Just when I thought we found our go to pub, this gem pops up. It's right off a bus stop which is convenient. It's huge! Its history is amazing. It sits on the site of the farmer who hid King Charles II. You should really look into it. They have a bar at ground level and a cellar bar as well, which is huge in itself. There is plenty of seating. They have a beer garden in the back as well as tables outside the front of the pub. Staff is super friendly and attentive and on top of things. The food is really good. We had curry and the portions are quite satisfying. You have the option to get a larger portion, but it is not needed. Restrooms are downstairs. They are quite large and very clean. There is a handicapped restroom on the ground floor. Great pub! You can get lost in time just sitting, drinking and eating.

I was very impressed with this pub and restaurant. I was served very quickly and politely. No drama or rolling the eyes when I asked to try an ale. I enjoyed a Big Chief for £4.55 and was happy to donate my change our of a fiver. Definitely one to pop into for value for money food and drinks combined with friendly service. 5 stars.

Well final evening in London after being surrounded by Chinese and Indian and Malaysian restaurants I wanted something I knew and I was told to go here and we'll it did not disappoint at all. A mixed grill with fries and a Coke heaven food for the final night . It is kind of a strange thing tho for me somone who hasn't been to their places before the whole downloading the app and ordering from ur table me a tech head easy but I could see how confused an elderly couple where who where travelling and walked in and sat down no idea how to get served. But the waitress explained but still u cud see how hard it was for them using smart phones so wud be nice to still be able to order normally.

Nice pub in London 🇬🇧 Our university rented the floor downstairs to have an event, drinks are really not expensive for London in general and the beers, cocktails and wine we tried were very good, therefore good quality/price ratio. Although I must say at some point it was smelling a bit bad in the bar for the last 2 hours in which we stayed.

It is a Wheterspoon pub, so the prices are quite cheap and affordable. This place is especially large and spacious, it has two floors. In addition, at the back of the local, there is a nice outdoor terrace. Toilers were clean. I highly recommend downloading the wheterspoon app so you can order food and drinks from the table and thus avoid the queue. If you order through the app, the food and drinks usually arrives sooner. 100% recommended 😊

What a lovely Wetherspoons with quaint oak tree decorations and a wonderful small outside area.Apparently, there's a secret bar downstairs that opens at midday, but we didn't get to see it.Cold beer and friendly staff I would highly recommend.

Visited here several times during our stay in London. Nice spacious & clean pub, lots of seating, nice and bright around the bar area due to skylights There's a cellar bar, but we didn't visit that. Food was excellent, friendly staff... another excellent wetherspoons pub!

Best food among Wetherspoons! It is always served right after fried. Cocktails and beers are good as well considering the price. The staff are all very kind.

Lovely place. Staff were brilliant, attentive and very helpful as I was with a group of 20. I organised the group meeting and beforehand the manager was very accommodating and helpful. There is a toilet on ground level for anyone with disabilities which was a requirement. Its absolutely lovely in there and when some people got a little hot they went into the garden. Everybody loved the choice of venue and I recommend that you go.

Great pub layout and design - downstairs area and upstairs seating is way better than your average spoons, but that’s until you see the downstairs is closed, you can’t find a table upstairs, and when you do the prices are astonishing

A wonderful pub that has found it's mojo with the addition of Jerry & the Knights Templar team After 5-6 years or so of feeling a bit unloved this pub is, within a few months, now one of the best places to grab a swift few and a meal in the area. That is a testament to the team and what a renewed focus on the basics can do. And great to see the cellar bar back. The only comment I would make regards staff clearing tables after last orders - a softer approach would not go amiss but appreciate that it isn't easy to get people out in time for close Go to this pub, for anything between a full meal to a quiet pint. You won't regret it.

A Little affordable gem in the middle of Holborn. It's a shame they don't have more outdoor space. Every square foot in the heart of the west end premium priced. The small garden is charmingly decked with hanging baskets. Inside there are framed prints which become more eccentric the nearer you are to the cellar area where the main toilets are. There is an outer door section which gives it the flavour of a gentlemans club. I was genuinely shocked when l entered the ladies to see enormous fancy gilt edged mirrors behind the sinks and on the wall ! You cannot avoid yourself. Normally not a fan of being over exposed but thought these were clean, crisp and lifted the rather tired appearance of the upstairs seated sections. I definitely dislike patterned carpets and it's never good to let customers see into the kitchen and your clearance bins unless they are state of the art designer ones. Needs must l suppose. Usual Wetherspoon beers, lagers and ciders on draught. Cocktails in abundance. My group seemed to favour the zombie over th blue lagoon. Food menu has enough choice with inclusive drinks options where soft drinks can be swopped for hot ones. Some mistakes were made with my burger and a friend's food. Both were remedied with minimum fuss. A good place for a Sunday afternoon get together.

Would definitely recommend a visit here if you are looking for somewhere to eat. Staff are very friendly. Bar is very spacious. There is even a cellar bar! Meals are well presented and very reasonably priced. This restaurant definitely gets 5 stars from me. Will definitely be visiting again next time in London.

I came to this spoons at 7pm for food and a drink, the drink arrived within a couple minutes and the food arrived within 10 minutes. The building is clean and modern and the staff have been tidying the tables and properly cleaning them within a couple of minutes if people leaving. The sauces were all present and the staff were replenishing them promptly when people have finished, contrary to many other Wetherspoons in the country. The staff appear to take a real pride in the restaurant and therefore this is by far the best Wetherspoons I’ve been to!

When I was a local, I was eating there once a week. Food was good for the price level. Recently visited them again, the atmosphere is still the same (library cabins with books are unique). Food portions seem to be smaller but I guess this is a general economic issue of 2020s. In general great place.

A favourite of mine here in London. As with all Weatherspoons you just can't beat the price of their food and much on the menu comes with a drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). Service at the bar or on the App......your choice. Really lovely staff. I'll always come back here!

What you expect of a wetherspoons. Bit cold near the window after a cold rainy day but food was good. Maybe a tartar sauce with the fish & chips would've been nice. Good experience overall. Would come back

I went to this pub with my friends and I can say it is really worth it! The food is good and with a good price considering other places in London. And mainly, it is very accessible to people with disabilities.
