We visited the pub and had a beer before we ordered food, we looked at the Menu and saw that they did Best of British, we both opted for the 14oz Cumberland Sausage, Mash potato, peas and gravy, well worth the money and must say a BIG thank you to the female Italian bar staff from Rome who served us, top marks to her.

Recently refurbished by Greene King this huge pub has been sympathetically restored, reflecting it's Victorian roots superbly. I haven't seen a better restoration anywhere. Great ales, lagers wines and spirits, together with a wide ranging menu, this place is ideal for all ages and all groups. It is simply a great place and space to meet, watch sports if that's your thing, or just chill out and relax with friends and family. Great atmosphere and the staff are quick and efficient, maintaining friendliness and professionalism at all times. Absolutely TOP DRAWER.

I'm training my dog to go into public places and heard that this pub is dog friendly. On entry, there is a table with dog bowls for water and a jar full of treats, which is a generous touch. I had to ask at the bar for water, as there was no jug or bottle for water on the table, however I was informed that usually there was water available that you could help yourself to. At 4.30pm, the pub was quiet, but the atmosphere was not dead, it was what I would call a comfortable quiet and I found the staff to be friendly. As my dog was behaving well, I decided to have something to eat and ordered the steak and ale pie, which was absolutely delicious. The pastry was lovely and there was plenty of meat in a gorgeous gravy. As this pub ticks all the boxes for me and my dog, I'm looking forward to visiting again and trying the rest of the menu 😋

🚇Tooting Bec 🍺 £6.55 Paulaner ❤️ One of London’s finest boozers. . The Kings Head is located on busy Upper Tooting Road and is only a five minute walk from Tooting Bec Tube. . This pub was built in 1896 by W M Brunton and is Grade II listed. Brunton was a prolific designer of pubs in the late 19th century and this is said to be his masterpiece. . Thankfully a lot of the original features have been retained inside this imposing boozer. The pub is divided in to three bar areas, two with access to the servery and one former billiard room at the rear. The stand out feature of this pub is the etched stained glass partitions around the beautifully victorian tiled entrance to the gents toilets, it’s simply stunning. There is plenty of seating in all bars including comfy chesterfields to relax back in to. At the centre of the main bar is a large atrium which floods the bar with light. At the side of the pub is a large beer garden for the warmer months. Overall the pub has a very traditional old school feel which was great. . This is a @greeneking_official pub and you would think the beer choice would be average but not here. There were eight cask pumps, four cider, four ale plus an impressive keg and bottle options. I noticed they served @paulaner which is one of my favourites, so pint of that please. My pint was top drawer, price point was a bit punchy. There is the typical Greene King food menu available, Fish & Chips randomly costs £13.19. . There was a cracking atmosphere and proper Saturday lunchtime pub ambience. The punters were from every generation and walk of life which speaks volumes for the popularity of this pub. The footy was on and I caught the tail end of the Liverpool v Chelsea game which was on the many screens around the walls. . The @kingsheadtooting is an outstanding pub and the best Greene King pub I’ve ever been to. The building, the decor and the atmosphere are all first class. The beer choice was a big bonus too. This pub is up there with the top pubs in London, loved it 🍻 . ℹ️ Info correct on visiting 21.01.23

Booked outside space at newly refurbished King’s Head pub in Tooting for Friday night leaving do a couple of weeks ago. A lovely evening in a lovely pub! Drinks, food, fun but relaxed atmosphere and service were all spot on. Nicely mixed clientele reflecting Tooting neighbourhood. Have lived around the corner from the pub for decades and had never visited before but will definitely be returning. Special thanks to Rob (?manager) with whom I made the booking - a real credit to the establishment.

This pub has gone through a revamp. It's a Greene King pub. You know what you're getting. The prices are good value for the area in London. It has a good menu, it's not spectacularly tasty but it still hits the spot. Sometimes what you want to order has run out which is a shame, particularly with the karaage chicken as that is probably the tastiest thing on the menu, so it's not a surprise it has run out). The staff are very friendly and the service is good. The drinks menu variety is excellent.

Visited this pub for the 1st time last night to watch the football with my son and found the whole experience very enjoyable. Although my team lost, the atmosphere was terrific, everyone was having a great time and staff were friendly and on top of that we also had table service using there app. I would definitely visit again soon and maybe try there food next time.

The best pub in tooting. Was hasty last time I went after it was refurbished but now staff are well trained, know what they are doing and service is brilliant. All you can want from a pub, might be good if they can get a pool table/ darts table in somewhere but being picky. Fantastic pub

One of the few pubs that's good for watching sport in Tooting - very spacious inside and a recently renovated garden area with lots of seats. You can order on the app although it can take a while to receive your drinks. Prices are reasonable.

Good pub food selection, quick service and friendly staff, nice interior with lots of space and lots of outdoor seating. Ordered the nachos, no complaints, pretty good. It's not Michelin star, but it's a decent place food for pub food and a pint.

Nice buzz on a Saturday afternoon. The pub's been beautifully refurbished keeping all the Victorian etched glass and tiles. Just a shame they couldn't be bothered to spend any money on a decent toilet seat that actually fits the loo in the ladies!

Lovely refurbishment, the pub is awesome. Staff should be trained to not throw/ break bottles into the bin-its not cool. But otherwise it's a great place and they will do well.
