The food and service at Il Funghetto are both exceptional. The staff have always been corteous and welcoming. The food is fantastic, particularly the seafood and the steak. I would recommend to anyone.

I had a meeting in London and always try to find a safe place to eat, came across this restaurant by chance, glad I did, the pizza was almost too much to handle.
Washed down with a draught peroni it was perfect.
Its hard to find a good basic food that is still cooked well, and they did just that with a nice crunchy crust and bottom along with a nice topping, nothing burnt. I would highly recommend. Just wish I had room for a dessert.
Lovely place to eat and relax with a good food and wine, friendly staff... highly recommended.

Got a table without booking, but it was quite early. Once we left though, there wasn't an empty table in the restaurant, which is always a good sign.
Food was great and came out fast and hot. Service was excellent.
Friends of ours walked in (unexpectedly) and staff were very happy to push our tables together.
Menu has increased and has gone back to normal with a few new additions.
Definitely will return 5/5

We came here for a family meal in a large group of about 20.
They had plenty of room for other guests Nd there is free on street parking nearby in the evening.
The food we ordered was generally very tasty and all of it was freshly made. We had a lovely time and will visit again soon.
There were plenty of vegetarian options as we are all vegetarian but we manged to order such a variety of items including Bruschetta, Pasta, Pizza, Gnocchi

A fantastic Italian pizzeria in London, North Finchley which makes you feel you are in Italy. Exceptional food served with Italian style. Cozze is pretty special but pizzas are second to none. It was a bit noisy when we were there because of a birthday party but the noise completed the friendly atmosphere. We will return!!!
A very local, down to earth, friendly restaurant. Tasty food, good service, decent prices. One where you pop in for a relaxed dinner after a busy week. We had a lovely dinner and will be back.
I've been coming to Il Funghetto for 7-8 years with my family. It is one of my favourite Italian restaurants (as an Italian) with such lovely friendly waiters. Never had any problems with service or food. You don't always get waiters that make you laugh, but here at Il Funghetto Davide never fails to make me or family smile, which makes us feel welcomed.
Highly recommend their Ravioli. The spinach one is one of my personal favourites, which I've ordered on multiple occasions.
Price wise, we normally order starters' main and dessert, so per person, it is 25ish each, but with the massive platter portions, it's always worth it.
Delightful Italian restaurant in North Finchley. Serving authentic Italian food in a nice setting with outdoor seating available, friendly and welcoming staff. I would thoroughly recommend the Ravioli Al Funghetto as well as the garlic pizza bread, I would definitely return.
We had a lovely time at this place. We were 4 mums and 5 children ages 2 to 10 years old. We didn't book but they made a space for us. The staff are very welcoming and made us feel welcome as soon as we came in. We were offered high chairs which were a good height so the 2 and 3 Yr old could eat at the table. The atmosphere is vibrant which I like. Very Italian. The food was lovely. The chicken Kiev usually comes with potatoes but I exchanged it for fries. Everything came out hot and fresh. The pizzas and garlic bread were very nice. My 10yr old had the pesto pasta which she said was delicious. I had the tiramisu which was awesome. Homemade. Thr mascarponi was so delicious. I was stuffed until I couldn't move! The bill was £160 for 4 adults and 5 kids which I thought was fantastic value for money. Would definitely return.
Lovely place with great customer service, they really make you feel welcomed. I’ve come here ever since I was very young and the place hasn’t changed. The food is amazing and filled with taste and love, would definitely recommend for a family night out or a dinner date!
An Italian Restaurant - Been here a few times now. Good food, nice choices and generally accommodating. Great place to have a large sitting for an occasion. Takeaway also available. Parking outside can be a problem, max is 2 hours, Monday - Saturday.

Went here to celebrate my first week at my new job. Great service and the staff remembered us from when they worked in Hendon some 15 odd years ago.
Probably one of my favourite Italian restaurants around, the service is always amazing, the food is delicious. You have to try this gorgeous Lobster Linguine on their specials board.
I recently took the family of 10 for a celebration and they too were not disappointed.
Everyone enjoyed their food and the staff really looked after us. And to top it off its great value for money and the portions are generous.
I got delivered a Bufalina.
I was tracking the delivery and from the moment it left the shop to when it got here less than 5 minutes passed. However the pizza arrived almost cold, I had to reheat it but in doing so it burnt in one second.
The cherry tomatoes, I was expecting them to be the orange ones that are normally quite tasty and these red ones were not that tasty. Same for the mozzarella di bufala, I could barely taste it. Giving 4 stars because the dough was very good and altogether the pizza is good for being London. (I am Italian)
Great tastes, great flavours. Unpretentious local neighbourhood Italian pizzeria with flavoursome daily specials and clean tasting (ie not greasy or over seasoned )classics eg escalope milanese, fegato, scoglio seafood pasta and more. Desserts are fresh, tirmisu is light yet full bodied, the best kept secret is dipping sponge fingers in marsala whipped zabaglione. Restaurant can get busy at peak times.... an obvious statement but worth the relatively small waiting times. Oh... yes.. ITALIAN pizzeria in neopolitan style, (NOT to be confused with pizza claiming to be Italian via american style DEEP FROZEN DELIVERY cheese on toast... THESE ARE PROPER HAND ✋🏼 STRETCHED PIZZAS!) Oh, and the pastas... classics with unctuous sauces, great gnocchi and the favourite.... scoglio seafood pasta or prawn pasta (with a dab of chilli 🌶 oil 😋 for me)
