Having been to Roxie's many times over the last 18 months it has delivered every time. Always seem to have the same thing my review may be looking limited due to this. I recommend the goats cheese tomato salad to start or to have on the side. The have an excellent la Linda Malbec which is dry and wonderfully smokey which is a perfect accompaniment to the fillet steak. What can I say? Easily the best fillet steak in London, perfectly charred and smokey cooked on their charcoal grill, recommend going for medium rare and it will take you straight to heaven. Fries are perfectly cooked and crispy. If I was to suggest a change possibly some fresh cream in the pepper sauce although I don't always order this as there is simply no need. Pay it a visit, pity it isn't on Northcote as it would be queued out the door.
Rib eye steak was cooked to my liking. Even with out sauce it was tasty. 4 stars for the food. If you want a bit more peace and quiet then this place is not for you. Its a loud place! Staff served us well.
Great meat! Rib eye, stirloin and the burger all really good and tasty! Reasonably priced, pitty fries are not included :(

Steak cooked perfectly.
We were on a birthday outing and were undecided of where to eat until we came across this restaurant. I was a bit hesitant at first but I am so happy we ended up eating here! The food was to die for it was so good! Accompanied by tasty bottled beer which complimented the food. We all left here very full and satisfied!
Went for a birthday dinner, all our dishes were delicious. As a vegetarian they still had lots of options for me. Halloumi was very tasty. Prawns and chorizo starter was also great. I had the Asian salad and Mac n cheese which was amazing. Big portions and a good Friday evening vibe. We mentioned it was for a birthday and they brought over a complementary pudding with a candle! Delicious cocktails too. Really recommend for any type of dinner.
Highly recommended steak house, very good quality and super friendly staff. Good value for money as the portions are very generous. I visited many times on the ribs deal day, always a great dinner. I suggest to book in advance though, the place is small and popular.
Delicious steak, properly cooked and very reasonably priced. The staff was also very polite and helpful. The only thing I would recommend is for something extra on the side - we felt that having only the fries and the sauce wasn't enough. A bit of green salad would help.
First visit last night and couldn't fault it. Service was friendly and efficent, nice atmosphere and the food is just spectacular. I live in the area and I feel I have just found a new favourite dinner destination!

Very small, and we was sat next to the door which didn’t have a wind guard so got a little chill at timeS. BUT really nice food. Burgers are BANGING, ribs and steaks are gooooood. And they have good deals. 😛
It's all about the stake! Good wine selection and cosy atmosphere! Unpretentious seating, friendly staff and candle light tables what else do you want?
Great steaks cooked perfectly. We had one with the peppercorn sauce and one with the chimichurri sauce. Great atmosphere , good food. Desserts are delicious too and there are a wide variety of wines. Service and presentation also worth a mention , and it's again a thumbs up. Would definitely return.
I'll confess I actually done like steak but I was brought here as a treat for my birthday. Had the 250g fillet steak, medium with peppercorn sauce and mash. Without a doubt the best melt in mouth red meat I've ever had! They also threw in a glass of white for my dessert. Very friendly staff and excellent food. Slightly pricey but definitely worth every pound. Will definitely come again.
Really great steak - had the flat iron. Twenty quid for steak, fries, sauce and drink. Yum!

Often overlooked because of its location on saint johns road, rather than Northcote road.
This place is great. The steak deal with a side and a drink for £20 is so good in terms of value and the steak is always cooked to perfection. Only negative would be that the lights were really dim/ wasn’t enough light (it was evening time about 8ish), and I was struggling to see what was on my plate. Add a few more lights or turn up the intensity of the ones you’ve got perhaps and everything would be absolutely perfect! :)
