I had dinner there a few weeks ago for a friend’s birthday. We were greeted with complimentary glasses of sparkling wine, which was such a lovely gesture from the staff. The tasting menu was honestly mindblowing, and so well priced for the quality of the dishes served. They have a very interesting wine menu, which makes you go out of your comfort zone. The wine we picked was something I never tried before and really enjoyed. Again, the price tag was very good (around £30 the bottle). Everything was perfect from beginning to end.

Roasted roast was delicious. It was gone in 10 min. Potatoes were mind blowing. Very lovely atmosphere in restaurants and staff friendly and professional. Table size might be questionable, because a little bit small for 3-4 people. But overall we enjoyed! Art works on the wall gave extra cosy feeling.

AMAZING Roast. Hands down the best one I've ever had! The meat is cooked to perfection, the truffled cauliflower cheese, the potatoes and the brisket were all to die for. The caramelised onion was also an absolute delight. Do me a favour and book a reservation here, you will be in for a treat! This place is Michelin star worthy.⭐️

Had an absolutely wonderful evening for an anniversary at 12:51! Great selection of carefully crafted dishes and a wonderful FoH team. We had one vegetarian and one meat 8 course tasting menu. Definitely want to head back for a Sunday roast, which we heard from another table, is amazing.

My partner and I had a Groupon voucher for an 8 course tasting menu and we really enjoyed our experience. The food was very enjoyable - each course was cooked well and very tasty. The service was also very good - the staff were polite and friendly. The restaurant has a more chilled-out atmosphere than some other places where you'd have tasting menus, which we enjoyed as we felt we could relax a bit more. We would definitely visit again!

Great restaurant and a very welcome addition to the Islington restaurant crew. Very reasonably priced for great quality food and my only regret is that we went for five courses instead of eight. They gave us a free glass of bubbles as it was a special occasion and the service in general was awesome. I have had the roast as well, which is also banging!

It wasn't perfect, but it was really good. The feather-blade of beef was surprisingly dry and quite fatty. Didn't really enjoy this one, however all the other tasting dishes were great. Soda bread as a starter, wasn't my favourite too. Getting a chilli jam as takeaway is a nice gesture, although it could have been provided in a little bag or so. My favourite tasting dish was the cured Cornish hake paired with the Austrian Riesling. The restaurant itself is very tight, sitting isn't comfortable, furnishing is more on the cheaper side. For a while I had the feeling I'm sitting anywhere next door. At the end it is a great food experience I would recommend everyone to try. Food is really good, that's the point, but some things could undergo some improvements. The service was cute, polite at some moment the highlight of the visit.

Delcious food, great service and great atmosphere. We came here for a friend's birthday and had a lovely time. All the food was amazing, but the corn ribs and fried chicken were for me the best. I also loved the burnt marshmallow desert. The drinks pairing is really fun as it isn't all wines.

Really lovely tasting menu and music selection. Take your best friend or loved ones and enjoy a solid and well paced meal together in a cozy setting. We really enjoyed the experience and unique flavour profile, can't wait to come back!

Have to admit I was a little underwhelmed- no star factor here, which I was expecting from all the reviews. I also understand that it was a taster menu but some portions were very small. That being said, I can’t give any less than 4 stars as the food was delicious and paired beautifully with the drinks. The staff were also a delight.

I loved this restaurant. It was my first time experiencing Sunday roast dinner and I believe I experienced the best version of the dinner on my first try. Everything was delicious from the cocktails to the food. It was also extremely filling. I would love to come back again

We had a wonderful time having an 8-course tasting menu (vegetarian). All of the dishes were delicious, but dessert I have to say - was hands down the best ending of a meal I have ever had in London. Our server (a lady with short blonde hair and tattoos) was wonderful, introduced the detailed dishes in a comprehensive way, but also answered my questions about some of the specifics of corn ribs and gnocchi. She was checking on us a couple of times but it felt very natural and never intrusive. Getting a jar of jam as a gift at the end was a wonderful surprise.

The food was incredible. Everything was beautifully presented. The 8 course taster menu includes a glass of fizz and a @sauce_shop 12:51 chilli jam to take home. The roast onion tea was my favourite dish. Love the chilled relaxed atmosphere and the decor. The staff were lovely. We had a great time.

Just outstanding, every course of our 8 courses was phenomenal. I feel so blessed to have experienced this and will 100% return. Loved that we get to take the chilli jam home, I had it this morning on a bacon and cream cheese brioche Really lovely intimate venue. The wine was also top notch, I would recommend the sauvignon blanc £15 for a glass but worth it. I can't remember the secrets name but she was Spanish and an absolute joy.

It’s much smaller than you might think, which makes the quality of the food even more remarkable. The snacks were so moreish we could probably have just eaten plate after plate of them, but on to the starters we went and they were soon devoured. Little pastry cups of spring flavours. The potato dumplings were floating in a dish of cheese and cream and were deeply satisfying. Again, a plate of those would have been amazing. Towards the end our vegetarian friends said things faltered and the dessert of meringue and custard fell flat with everyone. So, by no means perfect, but with enough winning dishes to make it worth the trip…and, yes, as everyone has commented, the service is informally excellent to boot.

This was the best roast beef lunch I have ever had. It included the works in terms of sides and the best Yorkshire pudding too. Sunday is roast day at 12:51 and what a treat. I hope the photo speaks for itself. What a wonderful experience. So enjoyable!!!

This restaurant was on my wish list of restaurants for a long time. The service was amazing. The 5 course vegetarian tasting menu great value with some outstanding plates. Although it did feel a little carb heavy and I would have liked some protein to break it up. I was also still slightly hungry when I got home despite also sharing an additional starter. The wine pairing menu wasn’t great so we had wine by the glass which were better and some decent cocktails. Decent Ja’groni (a take on the negroni). Overall, a decent restaurant, but for some reason lacked the je ne sais quoi that would tempt me back.

I went here for a birthday dinner with my girlfriend. They were serving a Christmas themed tasting menu and we went for the 8 course option without the wine pairing. First of all I have to say that the service was fantastic, very swift, kind and attentive. The food was also very good and we definitely enjoyed it. However, given the price we had overall higher expectations. It was a very enjoyable experience but I am not sure we would come back.
