La Ruga - London - Photo album

Dined mid evening, mid week at La Ruga on the recommendation of a local friend who dines there frequently. She said she has never been disappointed, I'm glad I trusted her. We were four, sitting in the window looking out at the other diners sitting outside on a balmy summer evening. I had the vegeta
Visited for lunch last week, first time to this restaurant, have to say will not be my last! New favourite place. Amazing food... couldn’t get enough of the sauce on the Monk Fish. Fresh Crab for starter... friendly service. Good value. Would definitely recommend.
Amazing staff, can't do enough for you - lovely food, especially the fish and great knowledge of the dishes - Lovely ambiance and a great place to celebrate!! Anyone who has had a bad experience here - I'm not sure why!?!? - Would 100% recommend -
I've been going to La Ruga for many years and yesterday I took two of my friends there for the first time for a Valentines Day treat. The restaurant has been re-decorated and looked lovely. All our meals both starters and mains were superb and the service was excellent. My friends were so impressed
Great place with outstanding food. It is not cheap but well worth it. The service is friendly but not fast. This is the type of place where you come to relax and enjoy your food. Although came for lunch in the past and the waiter was faster once told that we had to go back to work. A must visit in W
Have had lunch 3 times in this very good place, on the last occasion I had soft shell crab to start, rack of lamb with sauteed potatoes fresh vegetables an apple & cream dessert that took 20 minutes to cook (Well worth the wait) all of which perfectly cooked & presented, served by a friendly charmin
Lovely relaxed evening, sitting outside braving the chill as the sun disappeared. Fantastic quality and flavours in wash dish. Good value. Short but interesting wine list.
Best restaurant in Walthamstow. Not sure how they compete with the trendy E17 across the road because they dont offer the same brunches etc. but their evening dishes are outstanding. Its quiet and relaxing. They have the most insane red onion tart
We don't get to go as often as we'd like these days but La Ruga will always hold a special place in our hearts. The food & service is always excellent and the ambience lovely. Highly recommend.
Great food, superbly cooked and presented. Excellent service striking just the right balance between being attentive but not intrusive. Thoroughly enjoyable evening.
Great overall experience. The front of house and waiter were attentive throughout, and the food was really great. A bit on the pricey side, but was worth it in the end.
Walking up to this place, in the nice Walthamstow Village was brilliant. Felt like I was in a backstreet of Hampstead or even better Italy itself! Service was brilliant, waitress was providing chit chat and jokes as well! The Rib eye steak... Wow, that sauce that accompanied that was just fantasti
Excellent food. Menu changes daily. Great service and the wines are pretty good too. Well recommended for West end food at east end prices.
Friendly with great service. The food is traditional Italian meat, fish and game . Great puds too. Perfect for a very long lunch. It's not cheap, but given the quality of the food, it shouldn't be.
Such a lovely atmosphere. Excellent food so well cooked. Service impeccable. Do try this gem in Wathamstow Village. Thanks again La Ruga Orford Rd.
