The best Apple Crumble I have ever tasted (would eat it every night). Fresh pizza with fresh toppings. Most value for money meal with incredible flavours! Will be back for more!
A good basic British pub that does a decent meal, has cold beer and a clean fit out. Staff were really helpful. I had the British beef and Doom Bar ale pie with chips, gravy and peas. Classic pub meal done well.
An unlikely reasonably-priced British pub in London's tourist row, just next to Tower Bridge. Quaint interiors and fun and friendly atmosphere.
Been here 3 times this week for lunch! Good food, excellent value for money and staff are very friendly. All in all a nice, traditional, homely pub with a good atmosphere.
I visited The Pommelers Rest this Saturday whilst ricocheting about near London Bridge. We were looking for somewhere with decent food, reasonably priced drinks and screens to watch the world cup. Obviously a JD Wetherspoons was going to tick all the boxes here!
Weren't wowed or disappointed by the ambience. The food however was really lovely. Chilli was saucy & tender and the rice was surprisingly flavourful!
Also the bramley apple crumble was gluten-free! Hurrah!
This Weatherspoon's pub is beautiful! There is a view of Tower Bridge right outside the door. It's large, clean and reasonably priced. There is a great selection on their menu. The staff is super friendly and always had a smile. The restrooms are downstairs and are very roomy. There is a handicap entrance on the main floor accessible by a key from staff. It is a great place for family dining. The food was delicious. I had the nachos. They took a bit long and one of the staff wasn't happy at the length of time (26 minutes). She said that amount of time for nachos is not on, so she refunded my money and offered a free drink as well. We were really impressed with that. We weren't even thinking about that. I just really wanted my nachos, so thank you Pommelers staff! That made my day! Definitely give this place a go when you are near Tower Bridge!
A friend lives nearby and wanted to come here for lunch. As Spoons go this one is pretty good. Quick service and blindingly (worryingly) fast food delivery. Our burger came in 4 mins from ordering. Quite a good vibe over lunch time too, it was busy but not crowded.
One of the best, if not the best Wetherspoons I've visited. Stayed in a nearby hotel for a short sightseeing trip to London. This pub is within view of Tower Bridge. Great atmosphere, very good food and the most friendly, attentive and efficient staff. Thoroughly enjoyed several visits for food. The staff here deserve credit for their approach. Very satisfied and highly recommended.
Lovely evening out with my wife. Nice and friendly staff. Quite service, and the meals was lovely.
Nice Spoons south side of Tower Bridge. Great selection of beers as per normal at regional prices not London rip off!
Food was top notch and speedily served.
When we're next in the Capital this will be one of our ports of call.

Good Wetherspoon’s pub on Tower Bridge Road just south of the bridge. Six cask ales - and one cider - on handpump when I last visited including a porter and a mild.
The pub's name is taken from the term for someone who pummels leather, a reference to the surrounding area's historical links to the leather trade.
The very grand building which the pub now occupies was previously known as the Tower Bridge Hotel.
lovely restaurant with attentive kind service, the steak was very tasty, the price is nice. You order at the bar and receive at your table - very convenient.
I want come back.
I see one minus, we need sockets for phone chargers of poor tourists. Without a navigator, we can get lost and sleep on the street.
Perfect place for meeting with friends. Dogs are not allowed. Breakfast are served from 8am to 12 noon. Couple of gambling machines. Kind service. Good prices. Nice choice of beer.
We had breakfast and dinner on multiple occasions in this pub, since it was close to our hotel. Prices were very good for what you got. Dinner portions could have been slightly bigger, but all in all we were very satisfied. Service was quick. Only downside? The toilets (men side) smelled very bad on most occasions.
Another Wetherspoons pub, Tower bridge area.
Great service, friendly staff.
Excellent choice of draft bitters.
Happy customers
Very professional staff, at 10 am we where instantly attended and the food (Freedom breakfast and muffing) was delivered to our table in 5 min. just when we where saying our food thanks prayer. Really fast . Beautiful traditional English pub with the best deals on breakfast, meals and free refills on hot drinks. Wonderful skylight at til. Very good situation, close to Tower Bridge and London Bridge.

This is my local now. James the bar manager is a top lad. Always comes over to say hi. Runs a tight shift.
Have to say when he is not in there is a very different feel to the place. His staff are a lot ruder.
James stop having fun on holiday and come back please.
Unusual ordering method, you order from your phone or walk up to the bar (a hard option with 5 visitors) but the bath rooms and restaurant is clean and cheery. The prices are very good for lunch (10 GBP for chicken or steaks) very broad section of chicken, steak, burger, or salads. We didn't try the deserts but the drinks and food were very good.
As upscale as most bars in London that are twice the price, and a three-minute walk from the Tower Bridge to boot! I got a cold can of Lagunitas IPA served in a nice glass for under £4. What's more, the selection of beers, wines, and whiskies is terrific. Lovely staff too.
Great location (in 2 minutes from Tower Bridge, at the Tooley street corner), diverse menu for a very good price (huge portion of grilled mix of meats with side dish and soft drink was about £15), friendly staff, clean and cosy environment. One can make an order by scanning the QR code or at the bar. Unlike my previous experiences, you pay when making the order and not afterwards. Overall, highly recommended. 👍🏻
An enjoyable al fresco experience. Service was initially quite prompt but after the meal I waited quite a while to receive my check. The traditional Belgian rabbit stew was rich and satisfying on this early autumn day. I paired it with a glass of Kriek, a dark cherry beer.
A nice, large, open classic pub. Food is good with a large selection of beers and food. Travelling from Australia, it felt welcoming and safe. Staff were a bit too casual, but I'm not sure what to expect as normal in London.
was like a taste of heaven. The crispy golden-brown batter encased the flaky succulent fish perfectly. With each bite the fish practically melted in our mouths leaving us craving more. The chips were equally incredible. They were hand-cut thickly sliced and cooked to absolute perfection. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside these chips were the epitome of what a good chip should be. They were sprinkled with just the right amount of salt enhancing their flavor without overpowering it. To complement the fish and chips we were served a tangy tartar sauce and a side of vinegar. The tartar sauce had a creamy texture with a zesty kick from the pickles and capers adding a delightful contrast to the rich fried goodness of the fish. The vinegar on the other hand provided a refreshing acidity that cut through the richness of the dish balancing the flavors beautifully. The ambiance of the Weather Scone restaurant also added to the overall experience. It was cozy and inviting with a touch of nautical decor that created a charming seaside atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive ensuring that we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. As we savored each bite the combination of flavors and textures left us truly satisfied. From the perfectly cooked fish to the outstanding chips and mouth-watering accompaniments it was clear that this fish and chips experience was a cut above the rest. We left the Weather Scone restaurant with our bellies full and our taste buds incredibly pleased. It was easy to see why this place had such a reputation for serving the best fish and chips in town. Whether you're a seafood lover or just looking for a delicious indulgent meal a visit to the Weather Scone restaurant for their fish and chips is an absolute must.
