The Pommelers Rest - London - Photo album

This Weatherspoon's pub is beautiful! There is a view of Tower Bridge right outside the door. It's large, clean and reasonably priced. There is a great selection on their menu. The staff is super friendly and always had a smile. The restrooms are downstairs and are very roomy. There is a handicap en
A friend lives nearby and wanted to come here for lunch. As Spoons go this one is pretty good. Quick service and blindingly (worryingly) fast food delivery. Our burger came in 4 mins from ordering. Quite a good vibe over lunch time too, it was busy but not crowded.
One of the best, if not the best Wetherspoons I've visited. Stayed in a nearby hotel for a short sightseeing trip to London. This pub is within view of Tower Bridge. Great atmosphere, very good food and the most friendly, attentive and efficient staff. Thoroughly enjoyed several visits for food. The
Lovely evening out with my wife. Nice and friendly staff. Quite service, and the meals was lovely.
Nice Spoons south side of Tower Bridge. Great selection of beers as per normal at regional prices not London rip off! Food was top notch and speedily served. When we're next in the Capital this will be one of our ports of call. .
Good Wetherspoon’s pub on Tower Bridge Road just south of the bridge. Six cask ales - and one cider - on handpump when I last visited including a porter and a mild. The pub's name is taken from the term for someone who pummels leather, a reference to the surrounding area's historical links to the l
lovely restaurant with attentive kind service, the steak was very tasty, the price is nice. You order at the bar and receive at your table - very convenient. I want come back. I see one minus, we need sockets for phone chargers of poor tourists. Without a navigator, we can get lost and sleep on t
Perfect place for meeting with friends. Dogs are not allowed. Breakfast are served from 8am to 12 noon. Couple of gambling machines. Kind service. Good prices. Nice choice of beer.
We had breakfast and dinner on multiple occasions in this pub, since it was close to our hotel. Prices were very good for what you got. Dinner portions could have been slightly bigger, but all in all we were very satisfied. Service was quick. Only downside? The toilets (men side) smelled very bad on
Another Wetherspoons pub, Tower bridge area. Great service, friendly staff. Excellent choice of draft bitters. Happy customers
Very professional staff, at 10 am we where instantly attended and the food (Freedom breakfast and muffing) was delivered to our table in 5 min. just when we where saying our food thanks prayer. Really fast . Beautiful traditional English pub with the best deals on breakfast, meals and free refills o
This is my local now. James the bar manager is a top lad. Always comes over to say hi. Runs a tight shift. Have to say when he is not in there is a very different feel to the place. His staff are a lot ruder. James stop having fun on holiday and come back please.
Unusual ordering method, you order from your phone or walk up to the bar (a hard option with 5 visitors) but the bath rooms and restaurant is clean and cheery. The prices are very good for lunch (10 GBP for chicken or steaks) very broad section of chicken, steak, burger, or salads. We didn't try
As upscale as most bars in London that are twice the price, and a three-minute walk from the Tower Bridge to boot! I got a cold can of Lagunitas IPA served in a nice glass for under £4. What's more, the selection of beers, wines, and whiskies is terrific. Lovely staff too.
Great location (in 2 minutes from Tower Bridge, at the Tooley street corner), diverse menu for a very good price (huge portion of grilled mix of meats with side dish and soft drink was about £15), friendly staff, clean and cosy environment. One can make an order by scanning the QR code or at the bar
An enjoyable al fresco experience. Service was initially quite prompt but after the meal I waited quite a while to receive my check. The traditional Belgian rabbit stew was rich and satisfying on this early autumn day. I paired it with a glass of Kriek, a dark cherry beer.
A nice, large, open classic pub. Food is good with a large selection of beers and food. Travelling from Australia, it felt welcoming and safe. Staff were a bit too casual, but I'm not sure what to expect as normal in London.
was like a taste of heaven. The crispy golden-brown batter encased the flaky succulent fish perfectly. With each bite the fish practically melted in our mouths leaving us craving more. The chips were equally incredible. They were hand-cut thickly sliced and cooked to absolute perfection. Crispy on t
