Been there twice this week and I live 70 miles away in Petersfield. You must try the Lady Charlotte bar upstairs, very comfortable and excellent staff

Great little pub. Service was great, steak and ale pie was scrummy and it didn't bother them that I brought my own food for my 4 Yr old.

Had a great afternoon watching the rugby. Enjoyed the burger and chips. All before going to see the lion king and caught up with friends. Great time ...

Good quaint little spot for a few beers. Didn't try the food and the reviews of the food don't help this place. The drinks were good though.

We were in London for our 20th Wedding Anniversary and we're looking for a nice place to eat and chose here. We walked in and downstairs was quite busy with office workers etc as most bars are after 5 and ventured upstairs to the second floor. It was lovely up there with the French doors open looking onto the square and very modern decor but in keeping with the building. We had friendly attentive staff who took our food and drinks order and notified us there may be a delay in food which was good as many don't and I find annoying. The food was absolutely scrum and very rich, I had the hash browns to start followed by the rump steak which was pricey but worth it. All in all a great experience and we both loved celebrating our anniversary there.

A great multi floor pub with excellent bar food and good friendly staff. They have tv screens for the sports too which is great to have. I really enjoyed the scotch egg and sausage roll washed down with several good pints of Guinness

Lovely place for a drink! The view from the terrace is amazing, but always full of people, so we had to sit at the ground floor. You may need to reserve a table, check that before you go. Don't eat olives, they are very salty, soggy and tasteless

The Marquess of Anglesey is an excellent traditional British pub. It has a nice traditional unspoiled interior, A good choice of cask conditioned real ale and other beers and lager. There Was also a wide choice of wines and spirits. Quite a large spacious pub with a nice upstairs dining room with a lovely view over the city. The food is excellent proper traditional British pub Fare, an extensive menu of pies, fish, steak etc. The menu also caters for vegetarians and vegans. Downstairs it's also a great pub just to call in for a drink.

The rooftop bar is a great addition. Great atmosphere. It was quite busy as it’s close to the the theatres. It’s fairly noisy. Definitely worth a visit. Booking essential. We had drinks only.

First visit, needed a drink on a scorching hot day before going to the theatre. Really friendly barman, a good atmosphere, and for London, drinks at reasonable prices.

Really happy to have stumbled across this pub with my partner. We were having a bit of a bad day but the woman who served us was so lovely and cheered us up, think her name was Ava. It was so nice she actually took the time to chat to us. We will definitely come back next time we're in the area and would highly recommend!

What a gem of a pub! Team were very nice and welcoming, offered us samples of beers as we didn’t know which to choose. Croquettes are to die for as well! They have a very cute roof terrace as well with amazing views! 100/10 would recommend.

Great pub at covent garden. Very busy and not cheap but we'll worth a visit. Book a table for the roof terrace - it's a gem. Very close to theatres and Royal Opera House. Good food and drink, friendly staff.

I booked a table on their rooftop for a long overdue catch up with friends and we were so well looked after, particularly by India who was constantly running backwards and forwards to the bar for us - thank you. The cocktails were great, lovely atmosphere and great view out towards Covent Garden market. Would recommend.

We had a brilliant evening at the Marquis. Val was amazing (thank you!) recommending excellent food choices. The passion fruit martini was gorgeous, the roof top terrace was stunning and the food was exquisite. Can’t wait to go back again next time I’m in London! 😃

We were a large party with a booking in the lovely rooftop bar which they kindly accommodated. Great friendly service from Ben and Florence, lovely cocktails and the small plates we ordered were very good. The manager even helped me down the stairs with my many bags. We will be back soon!
