We were in London for our 20th Wedding Anniversary and we're looking for a nice place to eat and chose here.
We walked in and downstairs was quite busy with office workers etc as most bars are after 5 and ventured upstairs to the second floor.
It was lovely up there with the French doors open lookin
A great multi floor pub with excellent bar food and good friendly staff. They have tv screens for the sports too which is great to have. I really enjoyed the scotch egg and sausage roll washed down with several good pints of Guinness
Lovely place for a drink! The view from the terrace is amazing, but always full of people, so we had to sit at the ground floor. You may need to reserve a table, check that before you go. Don't eat olives, they are very salty, soggy and tasteless
The Marquess of Anglesey is an excellent traditional British pub. It has a nice traditional unspoiled interior, A good choice of cask conditioned real ale and other beers and lager. There Was also a wide choice of wines and spirits. Quite a large spacious pub with a nice upstairs dining room with a
Outstanding service, we were in the roof Top bar, pub has been just refurbished, amazing food great atmosphere, big thanks to Elsa looking after us. We will be back, come and see it yourself, highly recommended đđ»đđ»
The rooftop bar is a great addition. Great atmosphere. It was quite busy as itâs close to the the theatres. Itâs fairly noisy. Definitely worth a visit. Booking essential. We had drinks only.
I always love to come down here when visiting Royal Opera House ;-))
First visit, needed a drink on a scorching hot day before going to the theatre.
Really friendly barman, a good atmosphere, and for London, drinks at reasonable prices.
Great views from the roof top terrace with friendly and attentive service - cheers!
Really happy to have stumbled across this pub with my partner. We were having a bit of a bad day but the woman who served us was so lovely and cheered us up, think her name was Ava. It was so nice she actually took the time to chat to us. We will definitely come back next time we're in the area and
Perfect place with an amazing atmosphere. Roof terasse, drinks, food and Elsa is providing a great service!!
Will definitely come back again!
Loved this pub before the Reno and even more after! Always such a great atmosphere, great bar snacks and friendly staffâŠwonderful wine recommendations from the lovely Ava, and thanks for taking the time to ask us about our evening, you made mine and my moms night! Ps. Cheese board sharer was banging
What a gem of a pub! Team were very nice and welcoming, offered us samples of beers as we didnât know which to choose. Croquettes are to die for as well!
They have a very cute roof terrace as well with amazing views!
100/10 would recommend.
Delicious food, nice drinks and amazing service!
Great pub at covent garden. Very busy and not cheap but we'll worth a visit. Book a table for the roof terrace - it's a gem. Very close to theatres and Royal Opera House. Good food and drink, friendly staff.
I booked a table on their rooftop for a long overdue catch up with friends and we were so well looked after, particularly by India who was constantly running backwards and forwards to the bar for us - thank you. The cocktails were great, lovely atmosphere and great view out towards Covent Garden mar
We had a brilliant evening at the Marquis. Val was amazing (thank you!) recommending excellent food choices. The passion fruit martini was gorgeous, the roof top terrace was stunning and the food was exquisite. Canât wait to go back again next time Iâm in London! đ
We were a large party with a booking in the lovely rooftop bar which they kindly accommodated. Great friendly service from Ben and Florence, lovely cocktails and the small plates we ordered were very good. The manager even helped me down the stairs with my many bags. We will be back soon!
