Great food!!! We've eaten there about 5 times and the food is always good quality even when super busy. They are really friendly with dogs too and have a lovely garden area out the back.

Very nice and child friendly. Massive pub. Clean and bright with wooden tables and chairs. Organic food and wine - all of our dishes were tasty. Big box of toys and books for children. Large outdoor patio area, with a covered bit for desperate smokers. Lots going on - quiz nights, comedy, live music, farmers market etc. A gem.

Good place to meet friends for a chat if local. Can get a table at weekends, usually busy but not packed. Food always excellent and menu changes regularly to be seasonal and fresh. Food maybe a bit pricey for a pub, but worth it and a good bet if you want something on a Friday or Saturday night without having to book. Steak is always a winner. I've had sirloin and ribeye - sirloin not usually my favoured cut of steak, but all steak here tastes amazing and is packed with flavour. Service can be variable, as can drinks. Some good wines, but sometimes tasted a bit watered down or have been served inferior quality brands of spirits, especially nearer the end of the night. Didn't enjoy their substitute for pimms in the summer - had to take it back!

Cosy but trendy pub with good selection of ales and fantastic quality food. Has an adjoining cafe with proper coffee and a library. Further out back they have a large, secluded beer garden which is a sun trap in the summer. My only gripe is that I'd like to see more specials on the menu.

Really warm and nice pub. The food is a little on the pricey side but definitely worth the money. Have tried the Sunday roast and the pork belly and they were both great. Edit. Went back here again recently, had the burger and felt it was a bit dry. Other than that everything was good.

The Railway in Streatham, by Streatham overground station is an excellent pub offering a great variety of beers both cask and keg. Lovely staff working very hard to please all the punters. Two big rooms and an extensive garden. All perfect but I don't recommend parking up the road!

Cosy pub, tasty roast dinner, well presented and plenty on the plate. Dog friendly and table bookings can be reserved. Would definitely be a place to revisit. Friendly staff, one member of staff was very quick to greet everyone, no one left waiting to be seated to, very impressive.

The food was good. I especially enjoyed the seasonal summer salad. Our drinks were great and we ended up coming twice during our stay in the area.

I have passed this place for many years but it certainly looks good inside and out. While alcohol prices have gone up, a single rum and coke was £5.40, the service was pleasant and staff smiled when complimented. The food was nice as it was served buffet style for a funeral. I would go back at another time for regular food on the menu.

Food looked good and this is a trendy but trad pub. Good selection of ales and lagers. Cocktails looked v good. A real gem of a place with a great local vibe. Highly recommended.

A wonderfully welcoming pub with very friendly staff. The pub was very clean and tidy when I was there. The inside has a range of comfortable seating with a separate area around the back of the bar on the way to a very respectable beer garden. In addition, there is a reasonable number of picnic tables out the front. The lamb chops with potatoes and brocoli was superb. And, of course, the Guinness was excellent

Went on a Sunday for a roast. Didn't need to book and sat in the rear garden. You can order from an app which is quick and convenient. Good selection of drinks. The food was good but not great. The pork roast was much better than the beef. The beef was cut too thin and tasted over done. The vegetables were ok but not roasted which left them a bit bland. Overall it was ok just not a destination from afar. Tooting has better alternatives. The staff seemed frustrated and over worked so perhaps management needs to address that too.

We are on a vacation in London, and we were looking for pub with good beer and food, and we have found it. I higly recommend this pub, really enjoyed every craft beer and 28 days aged beef burger.

Such a great place for a drink. Staff are always friendly, as are the customers. Have eaten here a few times, and although the food is nice, it isn't great. The pub itself looks great and always has great atmosphere.

Great pub, huge inside and large garden area. Went to watch women's euros and stayed for the excellent comedy evening taking place each Sunday. Good selection of food and wine. Excellent burger and very fast food delivery! App to order drinks directly to the table is a bonus.

From an old bloke's point of view this is an old fashioned pub that reminds me of some happy times of a misspent yout. Proper bar, proper seats, lovely staff, good, wholesome food. Exceptional fish'n'chips. Its right next to Streatham Common railway station and I'd thoroughly recommend it.
