Lotus Chinese Floating - London - Photo album

I visited the shop, no the restaurant so my feedback is for the shop only. I could find all the foods I wanted, and much more. Good prices and friendly staff.
Stop visiting Lotus Floating restaurant after few years due to their service and foods are not up to my expectations, after a few friendly senior staffs have left. Recently I went back to give them a try, they have improved on their dim sum, but the tea quality is poor, taste is weird from tea pot,
Go with a friend on Sunday afternoon, doesn’t need to wait long to be seated. Great dim sum selection with very reasonable price. The service is quick too, impressive. So glad I found a great place for Dim Sum, would definitely come back again!!
This was my 4th visit to Lotus as I live locally, but it's the first time I came exclusively for Dim-sum with my son, we ordered 10 dishes in total, all were very nice except spare ribs, it wasn't what I would normally expect, small chunks of bones with hardly any meat on them, but that's the only i
Perfecto! Dimsum here is really good and akin to the levels in Hong Kong / Singapore. Very very reasonably priced too. Do not go here for dinner as the non-dimsum standards are much lower. Service here is good and friendly too.
Ordered from lotus a whole duck using ubereats... but didn’t realise I needed to chop the duck myself… =.=“ if i possess that skill or am feeling adventurous, i’d probably not be ordering takeaways. However, if you manage to get as far as to actually eating the duck, it’s actually very good! (Starte
Decent selection of dim sum. Fairly good value. The Peking duck (3 ways) is also good at dinner time but you have to pre order.
The quality of the service has been improved over years, the restaurant has been moved upstairs and the ground floor has been nicely organized into a supermarket with authentic South Asian food and snacks - this creates healthy competition with the other supermarket on the isle of docks.
Excellent dim sum. Everything we ordered was delicious. We were lucky to get there early as after us there was a line of people waiting, which is a good sign in terms of popularity and quality. We were three people and split the bill to about £30 each which is a great value for what we ate.
It's not the old Lotus, which was Cantonese cuisine, anymore. Tried the Saute Spicy Chicken & Dry Fried String Beans, both are western China cuisine. They both are actually pretty good. Ask waiters for recommendation.
