This restaurant is a small informal place, really nice though.   The menu consists of Italian Pizza, pasta, salads, meat, fish and some lovely Italian desserts. The food is really nicely done and with a very home cooked Italian authentic flavour. It reminded me of being in Italy. I had a tomato and mozzarella salad to start, followed by spaghetti pomodoro. My partner had calamari, followed by Spaghetti marinara, I had a Tiramisu for desert and my partner had an espresso. The food was delicious, the bill was very reasonable priced for a really very delicious meal. They are very friendly and I highly recommend this place and I think it is the nicest little Italian around. Delicious food in a small but authentic Italian surrounding!

I ate here several times during my visit the British Museum.  Absolutely best value for money and will be here again the future and will try their recommended Tiramisu.

My usual test of an Italian restaurant is to switch the type of pasta from the type in the menu; so instead of spaghetti carbonara I had penne. The restaurant was unphased. The food was fresh and excellent. The £10.95 offer for any pasta/pizza, mixed salad and a glass of wine is good. The wine is mediocre but you can't complain for the price. Desserts are reasonably priced: both the profiteroles and creme brûlée were good.

Central location just by British Museum. Very tasty food and quick, very friendly staff. We had pizza, calamari and fish and chips and everything was very good. We got food within minutes. Highly recommend to everyone visiting British Museum and area near by. I would 100% go back there for pizza when near by.

OMG. This is one of the best Italian restaurants that I have eaten outside of Italy and I have been to Italy a few times. The service is great with friendly staff and very quick and attentive. Highly Recommend. UPDATE. I visited again last week and the food was still of a high standard, but the only thing that put me off was I noticed water damage on the inside of the back of the restaurant and the staff were very friendly but never stopped taking amongst themselves very loudly and there was an annoying beep from somewhere. To be honest I could not wait to get out for some peace and quiet, such a shame....

Was down in London for work and we came across this place when were trying to find somewhere to eat. Staff were lovely and went out of their way to speed things up as I had a meeting about an hour from getting there Food was great :-)

Loved the whole experience, the service and owner have created an Italian experience right here in Central London. The pizza was fresh and Light, try their Margherita and Fiorentina Pizza. Paired well their red wine 🍷. Fish and Chips were awesome as well.

This small restaurant packed big taste and quality in its food. This place is located not far from the British Museum, which was a beautiful find. The ladies working there went above and beyond for service, even going to their other restaurant to grab butter for us. The food was so good from the in-house made bread to the pasta. We will definitely go back here if ever in London again, and I recommend it to everyone!

I recently had lunch at Amarcord Italian Restaurant in London and was thoroughly impressed with the meal. The pizza was simply delicious, with a crispy crust and amazing toppings. The staff were fantastic and provided great service throughout the meal. If you're looking for a authentic Italian dining experience, Amarcord is the place to go. After my satisfying meal, I went to visit the British Museum and had a wonderful time exploring all that it has to offer. #AmarcordItalianRestaurant #PizzaLover #GreatService #BritishMuseum

Nice little Italian place near the British museum. Lovely Tiramisu, the Caesar salad has arugula/rocket if that's not your thing. The porcini risotto was okay, but a tad bland. Next time we should clearly get the pizza or pasta instead, they smelled amazing.

Very nice food and good service. Nothing special inside (design wise), but the most important thing is the quality of food which was really good. I'd definitely go again for lunch.

It was a beautiful place. The owner was quite polite. and someone who is patient enough to answer all our questions. The homemade creme brulee dessert we eat on the recommendation was really nice. Homemade tiramisu was very delicious. I think the prices are reasonable. Bon appetit to everyone who's going to Amarcod. Thank you.

Hands down, one of the best Italian restaurants on Museum Street, and what a wonderful service they offered me and my girlfriend! I normally don't consume anything sweet, but I was really intrigued by their strawberry tart and gave it a try. To anyone passing by BM, please give their strawberry tart a go, and my girlfriend highly recommends their Arabiatta and chocolate-banana tart too. Above all that, this was one place where we felt extremely welcomed, and where we met people who really cared about our experience with them- thank you for offering us a memorable lunch hour and great job, Amarcord! Definitely on our list of revisits.

One of the waitresses has a very high pitched and loud voice. She’s talking to the guests as if they were cute puppies. It’s very tiring. She wasn’t talking like that to others, only the guests. It’s very distracting and annoying. Other than that she was nice and the food is great.

A lovely little Italian restaurant which also has pastries delivered from a local bakery. Staff were really nice; the chap said his half-Italian dad previously owned the restaurant, and the lovely girl from Cyprus was attentive and fun - great service all evening. They clearly enjoyed their roles, always a good sign. My Napolitana pizza was fresh, appetising and full of flavour. Little side salad was OK but my rosemary sautéed potatoes were just plain boiled ones. I did enjoy them with some mayonnaise, they were properly cooked and I was very hungry (hence pizza and potatoes!) but I dock a star because things different to as stated on menu is something that always bugs me. I enjoyed the Merlot and a delicious little canoli to finish. I'd happily visit again and I hope to do so.
