Hare & Tortoise - London - Photo album

I’ve been a regular at this restaurant over the last 15 years. The food quality has been consistent throughout (I don’t know how they manage that), it tastes just like in Asia. If Asian food is your comfort food then this is the place to go for authentic grub from East and Southeast Asia to warm the
We went on a Sunday during summer and it was around 3pm, and got seated right away. Been here before and to other branches. There can be a long queue during peak dining hours. We ordered some sushi to share, char kway teow, prawn katsu curry and yaki udon. They all tasted really good but there seem
The food, the staff, the service, everything was just amazing. This is one of my favorite Asian restaurants in London and the food quality has never changed. Thanks guys.
Really good Katsu curry at this place. The portion sizes are decent and the price is very reasonable. A bit small space wise and they don’t take booking but food compensates more than that. Great tempura collection and fresh watermelon juice as part of their summer drinks collection. Overall great f
Great restaurant for Asian food. The quality of the food is amazing and the portions are big. The servers are always friendly and fast. Definitely my go-to spot for sushi.
Good value and tasty dishes. They’re also quite big portions so maybe better for sharing or for a very hungry person. It could have more vegetarian options.
Generous portions, not exactly the real thing (I mean who puts sweet sauce into char kuey teow?) but it’s as close as you can get while in London.
Verbally told chicken and duck is halal. Ordered the dragon roll sushi (crunchy prawn tempura), chicken katsu curry (very large portion, in that they gave me way to much rice but the sauce was generous too). Penang chicken curry with rice was rich and flavoursome yet chicken portion was smaller. It
Been to this restaurant quite often before lockdown. This is the first time visit after lockdown. The restaurant food was still as good as before. It was delicious and the most important part is the food served very quick. This restaurant is recommended to those who like to try Malaysian food and su
Pan-asian restaurant with variety of food ranging from sushi to laksa. 5 of us ordered 3 roast duck rice, 1 pad Thai, 1 seafood noodles as main. Pad Thai is above London average and I am generally satisfied. Roast duck rice is not as expected, not Cantonese style, but deep fried duck breast (I think
I have come here for dinner 3 times in 12 days. Serving is big, don't over order. Taste is way above average! Must try if you are nearby.
Used to go to a fantastic one in Blackfriars, which unfortunately has been closed since COVID. This one in Bloomsbury was very good but without the ambience of the other one. Food was v good, as was the service.
The portions of the food are huge! Price-performance balanced! They have very delicious chicken chow mein! Ducks were also incredible. I will definitely go there again!
Had an amazing sushi 🍣 lunch here today. Really extensive menu including all the staples plus a few more adventurous roll combos. Fish was very fresh and the portions are very generous. The ramen and curries also looked great. Very fast friendly and efficient service. Recommend for lunch or a quick
Always good food and a good experience at H&T
What a fantastic place! Great choice of Pan-Asian food here. The portions are some of the biggest I've ever seen at a restaurant and given what you're paying there is no question about value for money. There's a wide selection of food from the starters to mains to desert. If you love Asian food I wo
I had the tempura udon noodles with some unpictured chicken gyoza on the side. The restaurant was clean, the service was quick and the food was good. I wish there were some more veggies included but otherwise I was pleased with my meal here.
